If you can pick at a piano, the key accordion is for you. it's not so dissimilar. The button ones are called bayans and they're a different beastie altogether.
Get a piano accordion for playing general accordion music. Get a Chromatic button accordion if you plan on taking it to the next level (pro level). Get a diatonic button accordion for playing simpler bouncy folk music.

@@PainterVierax when an accordion is being played one doesn't think of a Slavic person playing the instrument, but rather a person from a central European country, (France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland etc.) slavs playing it is not the first thing that would come up off someone's head, because it didn't popularize in that region, not saying that there isn't any Slavs that play it, But you should recognize that this instrument isn't from that region. so it isnt hard to imagine that someone would say its from France or somewhere in Europe.

The French musette style, which only lives through Parisian clichés for tourists, comes from the Polish mazurka, and the accordion is used a lot in Polka and traditional Central European music.
While listening to this I can just picture Papyrus finding an old accordion in the Garbage Dump and then running around Snowdin playing his theme on it! XD

I realized that he was improvizing cuz when i looked the piano side he wasn't toching any of white notes so it was pretty easy to figure it out
