I have an ASROCK B550 Pro 4. I also use the ASROCK Polychrome Sync software for my motherboard RGB control. When i use the Music setting. It only works on ELEFT326 (2- AMD High Definition Audio Device) . My problem is??? I have a (Sound Blaster Audigy Fx) sound card installed. I can not get the Music setting to work when i switch it from ELEFT326 (2- AMD High Definition Audio Device) to my (Sound Blaster Audigy Fx) sound card. Can any one help me???

ASRPolychome doesn't work anymore on a Deskmini-A300 or a X300 with the ASRock USB RGB stick (it is designed for both devices) installed under Windows 11. This is because Windows 11 no longer accepts the Asrock RGB driver.

Love these videos explaining the different RGB softwares! Are you planning on reviewing free/open-source alternatives such as OpenRGB and Signal RGB? I think it would be a great idea, especially if they could be recommended for people who would otherwise have to deal with a dumpster fire like RGB Fusion.
Polycrhome is a NO GO. It's actually the worst. Doesn't work with Ballistix, doesn't work with Lian Li, doesn't work with SignalRGB or OpenRGB. I love the Steel Legend but I'll never use Asrock again in a build where I need any semblance of RBG control.

How do I make this software remember my settings for the ram sticks after I power on my pc? My case fans all have proper settings but my ram goes back to the default lighting config and I have to manually boot up the polychrome software to enable my custom settings. I do have the boot up when windows start enabled so I dont know why its not automatically launching.
At this point the only RGB software that I find to be good is SignalRGB. Bad on the CPU, but has universal effects, however narrow the list of supported devices may be. I'd put Corsair Icue next to it, especially for its really nicely customizable effects, but it only works on iCue enabled devices so there's that.
I use that too, I only use polychrome for my two case fans that are not supported, but everything else such as ram, strips and keyboard are controlled by Signal. I love it.
If the fans in question are connected diectly to ARGB headers on your board, or to a supported controller, you could make a custom strip to make them work. Outside of that, you'll have to wait until they are supported
the problem with signalrgb is that it's dependant on the ARGB chip of your motherboard. If the motherboard is unable to lit more than two different colors on your lights then it doesn't matter if you use OpenRGB or Signal RGB, the leds will still only show the two nearest colors as the """""rainbow""""" effect is cycling. With Signal though you can control the position of the lights and create two-color effects on each led cluster.
I have an asrock mobo b550m steel legend and polychrome rgb is running well with all my rgb fan. I use 4 rgb fan with only 2 argb header at mobo. 1 cpu fan direct to argb header and 3 rgb fan in daisy chanel..

Its a bad software old ui and slow and not advanced there is no way this is better than the asus aura or msi one i guess asrock hate spending money on developers as i can see from their pro4 serie drivers
It's fine software the only issue I've run into is the automatic firmware flash each installer does can sometimes cause issues, the way to fix it is find the firmware batch file installed in the folder with polychrome and manually use admin command prompt to run it. This has always fixed any issues I've had
I also have the same issue and i tried the command prompt and it still doesn't worked. It could be because my bios is on a 1.20 version and the polychrome is 1.10
@@IsaacCV760 No, first of all what's your problem exactly? Second reflashing the firmware should definitely work to fix any issues. Third, the dumb thing here is you can't actually see what firmware version the RGB chipset is using from your BIOS menu. You can find it in Polychrome though but the two are separate. Your BIOS version has nothing to do with the firmware the RGB chipset is using. Anyways what is your problem exactly and Mobo?

@@IsaacCV760 you should be using bios 1.40 the latest, however that's just for good measure and won't effect the RGB firmware. But what concerns me is why you're using 1.20 of polychrome when it's showing the beta is 1.0.85? Maybe try downloading that version and reflashing. I can't confirm it but some say the polychrome versions are specific to their motherboards
this software sucks fr there is even no setting to turn it on when i go to sleep and i shut down my pc my rbg is always on and i cant do it in bios thats why i thought the software can do it
Hello, i installed asrock polychrome and after installing signalrgb my fans are stuck on the asrock app color and if i try to change it in signal it stars bugging and do some weird things
I just put in 3 Cooler Master ARGB fans. They are daisy chained off of one ARGB header. I can't get the effects across multiple fans like yours, even when adjusting the LED number. Effects like Cram or Stack just do the same thing on the 3 fans at the same time, rather than progressing from one fan to the next. I can only guess this comes down to differences between fans/brands that some may not work right?

I can’t get Razer connect to show up in AsRock Polychrome for my AMD 7900 XT gpu. I even have the Arock Taichi x570 Razer Edition... I flashed the rgb, installed/deinstalled, made sure I have the latest firmware, but the Razer Connect option just won’t show up in the software interface.
I can't control my graphics card (Asrock phantom 6750xt) on my Asrock B550 itx gaming board. The software does sees my card but the light on the card doesn't do anything when I try too change the colors. It stays on a static rainbow color mode. How can I fix this?

i have a x570 taichi and my lord the application crashes all the time. i will click a light or change the rgb mode, it never reflects over on my components. i have to re-open the app 5 times for it to work. i uninstalled and installed 6 times.

That's a setting in the UEFI (BIOS): Advanced Mode>Advanced>Chipset Configuration>Turn On Onboard LED in S5 (scroll all the way to the bottom to see it)> Disabled (Enabled is default). Sve changes and exit. Easy peasy.

Polychrome works fine for my RAM and MB, as well as for my AIO from EK Waterblocks. My graphics card is an MSI so I dont expect Polychrom to be working with it. My problem is with my M.2 NvMe SSD which is the VIPER VPR100. I cant control its RGB even though it says that Polychrome supports it. Polychrome doesent even recognize it in my devices list and I dont know whats the issue. Perhaps it is because the M.2 is in my second (lower) M.2 slot. Please help if you know whats the issue, thanks.

Maybe it's too late anyway... you could have another software that try to control the colour of the ram. I had the same problem and turned out that Asus aura sync was controlling the RGB leds of the ram. It was installed because I have a TUF headset

Hey dude 😊 Absolutely! The very first comparison video was far less deep than this series and I previously had trouble getting the effects to work in polychrome. But doing this series and diving deeper into RGB software than any reasonable human should - polychrome has much better effects compared to Gigafail RGB deFusion... Let's see if Aura can take on Mystic Light 👍 then a final roundup like first video... But so much better.

Asus Armoury Crate is the worse. Just install it once and see the infinite number of processes it spawns. I wish Asus had a neat app like Asrock.

To use signalrgb you need usb hub, because signalrgb not fully support asrock motherboard.

can you get all the fans the same colour because my top two fans and the bottom fan are the same while my back fan and cpu cooler fan are another colour

YES! So glad I found your channel! I hate the asrock Polychrome software, just so limited. They removed Razer Chroma sync, or at least I have zero options to enable it in Polychrome, even run as administrator.
I have an issue with what yoy showed in minute 9:40. I have uninstalled an other rgb software (signal rgb) since it wasnt as nice as the factory rgb settings, but now I cannot revert back since the implementations of that software altered the settings. Any tips?

When I first got my prebuilt I couldn’t change the color of anything but the ram then I deleted poly and redownloaded newest version for my mb and now I can change color of everything but the ram. Any suggestions
Maybe it's too late anyway... you could have another software that try to control the colour of the ram. I had the same problem and turned out that Asus aura sync was controlling the RGB leds of the ram. It was installed because I have a TUF headset
Biggest bug I've seen - my X470 can not use Blue LEDs. My ARGB header can, but they will not turn on on the board itself.
Ah, the re-review with Polychrome. Remembered that in the previous video you mentioned it as the "worst rgb software". Kinda wondered whether its yay or nay this time
Hey dude 😊 Absolutely! The very first comparison video was far less deep than this series and I previously had trouble getting the effects to work in polychrome. But doing this series and diving deeper into RGB software than any reasonable human should - polychrome has much better effects compared to Gigafail RGB deFusion... Let's see if Aura can take on Mystic Light 👍 then a final roundup like first video... But so much better.
Still, I hope they make the addressable RGB devices actually "addressable". Maybe add gradients or custom effects.

Is it safe to daisy chain 6 fans to one cooler master mini rgb hub for the rgb and the pwm to another hub?
What brand of fans and what kind of controller do you have because my controller won't let me change anything or the fan speed and it has argb hooked up mine the gamdias aeolus m2
