8:42 Honestly, Sonic the Derphog was one of my favorite series in smg4, and I'd love to see it return, possibly with some cameos by the newer characters. I never failed to enjoy Sonic and Eggman's "frenemy"(for lack of a better word) relationship, the rivalry between Eggman and Dr. Pootis (my favorite smg4 character if my name/pfp are any indications) and just the sheer stupid humor that can lead to Toad riding a flying dorito bag.
This year of SMG4 was amazing! I was actually completely fine with every new introduction and changes. Most notable was Desti's death and Meggy's redesign, i was shocked by both of these but i loved them too because it added life into the atmosphere. As for the future, here is what i have to say: Arcs: make them as long or short as you want, don't overdo it if it isn't necessary. Redesigns: I am all for redesigns of the characters like SMG4 himself and maybe a few others to give your videos more life and character than before. In the end, i hope SMG4 continues to shine and succeed and i'm glad i was able to discover this channel back in 2015 and be a part of this amazing community! I always remember wanting to make videos just like you guys, and im happy that you all are still giving me that inspiration during these years. Have a great new years everyone! And let the memes be with you all! :)
Carly Skolnik , I think he meant the characters like SMG4 (which is just a recolor of Mario) and Fishy Boopkins (which is just an already existing Mario enemy but with a different name). He probably wants to update their designs to be more original, and I’m okay with that.
Seeing this two years later and seeing a lot of characters change their appearance just let’s you know how much they have progressed through the years and I’m happy to be apart of this memory journey

First, SMG4, thank you for everything you’ve done this year. I can’t even imagine doing the work you do, and you don’t disappoint at all. For some of the things you mentioned: 1. Yes, please bring back the old channels like theawesomemario, and even old series like Cooking with Mario and Bowser or Mushrooms and Morons. I think having those kinds of episodes every couple of months makes them fun and enjoyable. 2. I’m down for story-driven episodes being longer; I agree the Anime Arc was too long(even though it told the story at the right pace), and I’d like longer episodes as opposed to more episodes in the story. 3. For redesigns, I think SMG4 is too iconic as a Mario clone, but maybe Boopkins could be remodeled. Idk, I just think SMG4 is too good as a Mario clone. Meggy’s transformation in my opinion was a genius idea from a marketing stand point, since you can probably release merchandise of her without having copyright issues(I think). 4. I thought of something as a new arc. It’s a time travel arc. What happens is one of two things. Someone messing with time and the other is that Meggy wants to go back to save Desti, not realizing that she could risk altering herself and her friends.
I would like to see her teaming up with Luigi (cause nobody cares abaut him, and he should be more active) and time traveling to random videos where they caused realy convinient things happening, swap places with the past selves and working more as a team as they solved problems from other vids. Eventually they can save Desti and Meggy from being a human, but when they come back, they realised they messed up ewerything, so they slowly fix everything. I would even see a twist, where when they come back again, they see that saving Desti changed everything and Meggy needs to not save her and herself.

Jaz Haider Desti was never a “wonderful character” she didn’t made an appearance since her debut before smg4 brought her back only for her to get killed off so smg4 wouldn’t kill off one of the main characters. And her funeral seems to remind me of the funeral scene of the life of Brian episode from Family Guy. Desti wasn’t even an interesting character.
I love the Anime Arc. Especially the ending with Meggy saluting to her rival. It reminded me of the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3’s ending when Naked Snake a.k.a Big Boss saluted to his mentor’s grave. Thank you for everything SMG4 for everything.

You've come a long way since 2011 man and I'm proud to see this channel grow from its beginning from skits to full fledged story arcs that admit made me cry for more reason than one but ultimately caused by one action. And the metta runner series is just phenomenal and I cant wait to see the second season. The future looks bright guys and keep on loving what you do and being one of my favorite youtubers ever.
lol, TH-cam's auto-generating subtitles bot fails yet again. It may not get the subtitles right often, but at least it's fails are good for laughs. It is why people find "Google Translated" romhacks so funny, like Fatguy703's Book of Mario series. Google's subtitles and translator bot is super dumb, like, dumber than SMG4 Mario is. At least despite how dumb SMG4 Mario is, at least most of the time he hears what's said to him correctly.

As for the question of redesigning characters, I think they look so crappy and I like them the way they are. Most of the videos look like random models moving around, with random sounds and doing stupid stuff, and that's exactly what I like of all these videos: stupid stuff and memes and all of that. I just think they fit those kind of videos. Good job, and happy new year.
Hi SMG4! Thanks for the fantastic 2019 recap video! To answer you questions, I really don’t have a preference for how long arcs should be. As for the smg4 redesign, I personally like the original look of smg4 and I personally feel that it would feel wrong to change a character that has been the face of incredible content for almost 10 years. Keep doing what you do my friend, and here’s to an awesome 2020!
2019 was my biggest year too. A lot of spongebob specials were aired to honor the passing of Mr. Hillenburg. The Avengers Endgame Movie. There were a final episodes to amazing cartoons like Star vs the forces of evil, my little pony, ok ko, Gumball, and probably Steven universe. Steven universe the movie was released and Steven Universe future is airing. Invader zim enter the florpus was finally Released on Netflix. And I even watch the rest of the fairy tail final season anime. Rick and Morty season 4 is airing. But sadly my TH-cam channel was terminated by TH-cam due to copyright and I was never able to make any more TH-cam videos as much. And the important things this year what is the things you did on your channel. Thank you so much SMG4 for the best year yet.

Here are my honest ideas for making more arcs and redesigning characters: 1. Yes! I think that you should continue to make many more story arcs. This is because that is what makes SMG4 special now. It used to be randomness and chaos, but now, it is story arcs and lore. I've been watching your videos for years now, and with that, I've seen how your show has gone through changes, and as those changes has happened, your channel has gotten more views and subscribers. With that being said, it is all the more reason why you should continue to make arcs, as they go a long way in making SMG4 as realistic as possible. Here are some arc ideas for you: The Waluigi Arc II, The Dark Star Arc, The SMG3 Arc (As the main antagonist of SMG4, he deserves it), and even The Zelda Arc 2. Yes! Redesigning the characters is a wonderful idea. This is because SMG4 is a progressive and unique show, and with that being the case, it would bring new fans and keep old fans interested. After all, it is good to always try new things

As for the question of redesigning characters, I think they look so crappy and I like them the way they are. Most of the videos look like random models moving around, with random sounds and doing stupid stuff, and that's exactly what I like of all these videos: stupid stuff and memes and all of that. I just think they fit those kind of videos. Good job, and happy new year.

To answer you questions, I really don’t have a preference for how long arcs should be. As for the smg4 redesign, I personally like the original look of smg4 and I personally feel that it would feel wrong to change a character that has been the face of incredible content for almost 10 years.

2019 is the year that ends off this good decade of memes.
2019 was my biggest year too. A lot of spongebob specials were aired to honor the passing of Mr. Hillenburg. The Avengers Endgame Movie. There were a final episodes to amazing cartoons like Star vs the forces of evil, my little pony, ok ko, Gumball, and probably Steven universe. Steven universe the movie was released and Steven Universe future is airing. Invader zim enter the florpus was finally Released on Netflix. And I even watch the rest of the fairy tail final season anime. Rick and Morty season 4 is airing. But sadly my TH-cam channel was terminated by TH-cam due to copyright and I was never able to make any more TH-cam videos as much. And the important things this year what is the things you did on your channel. Thank you so much SMG4 for the best year yet.

Here are my honest ideas for making more arcs and redesigning characters:
1. Yes! I think that you should continue to make many more story arcs. This is because that is what makes SMG4 special now. It used to be randomness and chaos, but now, it is story arcs and lore. I've been watching your videos for years now, and with that, I've seen how your show has gone through changes, and as those changes has happened, your channel has gotten more views and subscribers. With that being said, it is all the more reason why you should continue to make arcs, as they go a long way in making SMG4 as realistic as possible. Here are some arc ideas for you: The Waluigi Arc II, The Dark Star Arc, The SMG3 Arc (As the main antagonist of SMG4, he deserves it), and even The Zelda Arc
2. Yes! Redesigning the characters is a wonderful idea. This is because SMG4 is a progressive and unique show, and with that being the case, it would bring new fans and keep old fans interested. After all, it is good to always try new things
