@@hazelcross8835 i blended from the bottom of the hump 6 inches into the passenger seating area then stapled the factory seat cover back down. Night and day difference but if i had it to do again i would have added a thin layer of memory foam while i had it apart.
I'm not a new rider but new to a manual. XR150L is my first manual bike. I love it. Cheap. Reliable. Not complicated. It's a Honda, it's durable. For a commuter bike with some off-road along the way, it's perfect.
Different tires. Adjustable handlebar risers. LED headlight. Phone mount. USB charging port. Folding shifter, locking top case. Iridium spark plug. 115 main jet. Ricochet off-road skid plate. And a 222 big bore kit from scooter swap shop came in the mail yesterday.
@@hazelcross8835 maybe if I owned my own truck, I would get a class B license and drive a dump truck or something. Mechanic/fabrication work pays more though.
I personally have a Peak Design mount and it’s awesome!! Super easy to take phone on and off and it is very secure with great vibration dampening. I’m going to make a video soon.
Hey looks awesome! I knew kt looked like ct. I have the 250l and i love it. A good place to try off-road is pachaug state forest. There's plenty of dirt roads to try and when you get comfortable, they have a 60 mile dirt trail loop that is a bit advanced!
That was nice to watch. Thanks. What is your height and weight? What type of gas mileage are you averaging? I got a xr650r to learn on a long time ago. It was way too much! That bike looks great to learn on and for fun in general. At that cost I would keep it forever.
Thought those roads looked familiar! You riding through Baltic. Awesome little bike man, nothing more fun the. A little bike on a spring day. Have fun!!
@@Acebean I paid $3785 out the door because I shopped around and called all the dealerships in towns within an hour of me. I went to one an hour away in a cheaper state and got a quote on a white one. Later I decided I wanted a black one so I put it on hold back when they were first coming out. I then gave that dealership the other dealerships quote and told them that if they didn’t beat it by at least $500 + discounts on gear, then I would go find a dealership that would. They decided to take the deal after I pointed out that it said “sell fast” on the managers white board.🤣🤣
These bikes are absolutely amazing!! Especially with a BBK, cam, carb, and exhaust. I put a cheap cherry bomb on mine, sounds awesome!!
I was gonna get a exhaust for it. Maybe I'll do it for the kawasaki klx300
@@hazelcross8835 I did an undertail exhaust. I’m in the middle of heat wrapping it now.
That looks like a nice part of the country for riding!
It is. It's beautiful out here
What state?

@@hazelcross8835 Beautiful. Cheers!
I shaved and blended the hump out of the seat on mine. Much more comfortable now.
Wow I might do that. I find myself sitting on that hump. Hurts after awhile

Check out the quadlock plone mounts. Work great. The Honda powerport accessory they have for this bike is a easy install and works good for charging.
