Just wanna say a bit about Oasis. Something about the English culture I’m really into, the music especially. The football. I’m from Texas. But let me tell you. OASIS are therapy for me. I’ve struggled with anxiety as of late and even confidence but when I listen to Oasis, I’m hype. I get shit done. I have a fuck it attitude. Yeah, that's pretty well documented - Noel likes to borrow the good stuff from the past - like, err.....everyone - what - you think Led Zep or The Stones never nicked a riff? Some bands make careers out of it, some acts - it's ALL they do. Noel does it occasionally when the results are awesome, doesn't put me up or down.

Shakermaker - The Real Thing which Coca-Cola own and Oaiss had to settle that one. Let There Be Love steals the intro verbatim from the Mr. Bungle song Retrovertigo - the instrumentation is identical, chords are exactly the swm too but then when it starts the verse Let There Be Love sticks in that key, where's with Retrovertigo it modulates into another key for the verse.
Oasis do quite often rip other bands off, the start of Don't Look Back In Anger is a cheeky nod to Imagine by John Lennon, but it changes as the verse begins, but the songs main driving force is the piano played by Bonehead which retains the John Lennon style throughout.

Liam made some comments about Noel's family and Noel basically said fuck off so a reunion, if it ever goes, is a long way off. They are brothers so maybe they'll reconcile, who knows. I think Noel wants to be king cheese anyway and Liam was taking too much of the spotlight singing the songs he was writing.

The video to this is brilliant. It could have been filmed yesterday. The fashions and everything havent changed that much where I live up north. The gardens and yards and everything in any town or city up north still look the same as in the video, which could have been filmed anywhere in the UK, yesterday. It's a brilliant video of everyday life.

The colour shots we filmed in an overgrown communal area behind Victorian terraced houses on Burton Road where I lived. The monochromes are on a council estate in Burnage where they lived. Sifters is/was a record shop on Fog Lane. The park is possibly either Fog Lane or Didsbury park. I came home from a shift at Hough End Police club. There was some noise in the back yard and there was the band with film crew. I stuck me head out the window and Noel looked up and said " Alrite mate". Liam was doing his usual strutting in the yard. The settees Liam sat on were mine. I lobbed em out cos the cat pissed all over em.

@@Ali-mv3jc yes. My cat was ferral and so was full of worms too. A wormy pissy sofa. The cat was sorted soon after but met her end some while later on Burton Road out the front. Here was an aviary in Withington hospital and as cats like birds.......cheers for the comment.

Like I said it was just shit that went on round our area and then they were elevated to stardom. Some don't believe these tales because of this stardom. That's fine. Oasis are good but I prefer Blur. Guigsy is an enigma. He seems to get on with the rest of the band and have a sense of humour in all these videos, but there is nothing to hint at it in any interviews. How can he have been so shy? He was the strangest member of Oasis, but for that reason also the most interesting.
I think he’s the kind of guy who really enjoyed playing music with his mates for fun but got extremely nervous in front of large crowds. Unlike the Gallaghers, he never wanted to become a famous rock star.
According to Liam Guigsy was CONSTANTLY baked, so probably not that great a communicator most of the time

Noel always writes a great bridge or pre-chorus even in his mediocre or crap songs; see My Big Mouth and Roll it Over for examples of the former and latter respectively.

I love this song, music video included, Guigsy is actually good at football, and I like how he just walks by Noel at the beginning. The black and white parts are quite literally just some random footage they got. And there's just some random kid and a pet cat. The intro to this song reminds me of I Am The Walrus for some reason, and so do the outlandish lyrics. And it's pretty clear where Noel got the inspiration to use the word "Plasticine" at the start of the song. Hands down best part is the "I'm sorry but I just don't know
