I think a lot of scenecore kids just aren’t influenced by real scene kids :( when I became scene I had a scene friend to guide me so i did it right lol Edit: yes talk ab more stuff LOL
I was an emo trinity kid as a preteen and I think it was definitely bc i was new to the subculture and didn't know much about it, but it was like a gateway to the subculture
yes! the emo trinity/quartet was a gateway to scene & alt subculture 4 me too! like it introduces you to alternative music and emo bands but its more modern(?) because the musicians are relevant/active and there's "dank memes"+"emo crack" idk how to explain it
As someone who discovered scene because of scenecore, it’s interesting to hear others opinions on it. I discovered scenecore because i got into The danganronpa/tiktok cosplay community,and i discovered that scene and scenecore are two different things and so i did research and sort of go by emo/scene/scemo if people ask. i don’t necessarily know everything yet but i’m learning. I don’t think it’s a good thing to talk trash about scenecore kids because they’re just trying to figure them selves out. they’ll probably either become scene or move on to something else eventually.
I definitely think college can be overrated depending on the person and what they want to do. College was a complete waste of time for me. The only two good things that came out from it was escaping my parents by living on campus and the group of friends I met since they were the first and only good close friends I’ve had.

Scenecore actually got popular on tumblr first. And imo trends are great for trying out new things :)
Anytime you see like almost any aesthetic or whatever on TikTok it probably started on Tumblr first
