Man, this is one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. A bit too fast in my opinion, but at the same time you get a really nice object few really little time. Congratulations, I have enjoyed the result a lot. Cheers!
Thank you for these videos! I took classes on it a few semesters ago but forgot some of the simple things already so you speaking out loud on each of your steps is very helpful!
I signed in just to say what a great job you did. I really liked the whole thing. You are fast, fluid, and I learned a lot. I am ok with solid works but this makes me want to be better. You are good! Thx for this video!
Fastest I have ever build anything on SolidWorks. Haha. I had no idea there was a curve driven pattern, and had not once used the coincident tool. Can't believe it.... Thank you!
That was impressive! I admire your fluid actions and rapid product build. It motovates me to aspire the level of expertise you have achived. That same design would have taken hours for me to struggle through. Please put up more tutorials & ocasionally give a reason for the particular sequence that you used. Most of it was repetition, and that was really easy to follow. Thank you again.
Nice video. You packed quite a bit in a fairly short video. Well done. I've been using CAD for many years but new to SWX. Video's like this are very helpful to get me exposed to the software features quickly.
I'm pretty new to solidworks. My question may be stupid. Why don't you revolve a more complicated profile instead of all those small steps to build the disk? Is it necessary for future design change?
Thanks a lot!..I have a comment..the ventilation holes, the big radial ones, are thru all body..means air is coming from center of disk to external side, in between the two disks...Very good anyway!.
thank you so much sir but is it possible for you to send me the link from where you have taken the specifications?? i need it badly and i know it is of audi but i need it in detail
quick question, how did you get all the dimension? did you design it yourself or is there a set of standard calculation and dimension for it? Thanks heaps
Hi there. Guys, at 5.18 i encountered problem i cannot deal with. SW will not allow me to specify full 360 rotation of the groove we made right before. It keeps saying "specify angle more than 0 degrees and less than 360 degrees" Can someone tell what i am doing wrong?
hey brother can u solve a little problem of mine being a new user iam not able to resolve the issue smart dimension is not giving me option to input my required dimention for example if draw a circle off 200 mm ,i would draw a circle and with the smart dim i will input 200 to make to the size but its not taking me there , all it does gives the actual size of entity and thts it could u solve my issue thanks or anyone else who has a solution fo this pls do respond
When I open solidworks, I can't see the bar that has the features, sketch, surfaces, etc. tabs. All I can see is the vertical box on the left side. How can I make it visible?
thank's your tutorial it's very good. would have been better, if ( "20 rim, brake disk and tire) were assembled. but no problem. congratulation. by Marco

Perfect. Fast, but understandable. No extra time wasting talk. Thanks.
Brilliant! Thank you! I have not used SolidWorks for over a year as I chose to do an industrial placement. Great Tutorial!
Thank you so much for this. You are really talented and deserve a lot my friend.
There aren't many things that id refer to as brilliant, but your video definitely is!
Thank you very much!!!

Great video Klaus. I have definitely learned a lot from a few of your models.
Thanks for uploading. Nice tutorial to get me back into Solidworks again!
Thank you. The explanation was very clear. We want more ...
Great tutorial.. ..in many cases in the brake disc structure the cooling holes are machined through the disc.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! It was very well done and helpful!
I learned to much with your tutorial....thanks Klaus!

Your videos are very good. Thank you.
Well, it certainly looks pretty. Unfortunately I don't think you are too familiar with the actual point of the vents in a vented brake rotor...
sabotshell I
quick question, how did you get all the dimension? did you design it yourself or is there a set of standard calculation and dimension for it? Thanks heaps

When I open solidworks, I can't see the bar that has the features, sketch, surfaces, etc. tabs. All I can see is the vertical box on the left side. How can I make it visible?
