    Two things.
    This is actually my favorite version of the Guren, and I am highly disappointed that it’s screen time was so short. It has the best design for me, and one that even trumps the Seiten if I’m being honest. Especially in the head and arm. With the head it looks menacing while looking more animal like. Although maybe that’s just from the angle from when we first see it one could argue, but for me in all of its fight scenes it always looked that way and that I enjoyed a lot more.
    And with the arm, I’ve personally always felt the silver fit better with the turned color scheme and it looks a lot shinier than both the silver one before it and the golden one after.
    And secondly, what’s interesting and something that makes me scratch my head in this scene is the fact that while the Gefiun net doesn’t disable the Lancelot it immobilizes it. So how on earth was Suzaku able to fly away from Kallen when she struck. There is no indication that she moved him out of the net. And what’s even weirder is that after Kallen reaches Suzaku, the net just magically disappears. Like, WHAT!? By all this logic, Suzaku should have been stuck with Kallen until she either defeated him, which is actually likely considering the damage she did with just a afew seconds of fighting him. Or he defeats her and destroys the net. Or She pushes him out of the net which then this scene would make sense. Or lastly, she just disables the Lancelot and it’s weapons excluding the flight unit, and then leaves Suzaku there to go find Lelouch and Nunally. If it was the first outcome then it’s likely that Kallen would have gotten Lelouch and Nunally in time. Oh my goodness bro, while R2 has enjoyable moments it was overall just a mid season in terms of objective quality. Although I am aware that it was rushed, so I guess I can somewhat forgive the showriters.
    Edit: And how on earth did Lelouch end up out of the ship after Suzaku took Nunally? Wut!?

      The gefiun net is a collection of many very small gefiun probes (units?), they don't really have the energy to sustain the float system and disrupt the sakuradite for very long and most likely ran out of energy, when they are deployed it takes a second for them to levitate without falling. Plus, the way lelouch got out of the ship is plot :) Also in r1, when the Lancelot gets captured during the battle of Tokyo the gefiun disturbers are all connected to a power source and thus could last alot longer.

      @@Hydr0fisher I don’t think this is shown to us that the disturbers simply don’t have enough energy to disable the knightmare for long in the show itself so I’m not sure if your arguement is true. I think the same goes for the fact that the gefiun net isn’t connected to each other through wire.

    • @Hydr0fisher
      @Hydr0fisher 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@CoreVin975 while it is not directly stated we can infer its true, it was stated whenever the Lancelot got the float system that it drains a ton of energy, and after the lancelot landed it was already drained. The size of the float and weight it needs to carry is proportional. The avalon has i think 2 float engines, and the Lancelot has the float attached to it, the original gefiun disturber was connected to an external power source, but did not have a float system, the gefiun net however, not only had to power itself with internal energy, but also had enough energy to power the float, and doing both at the same time would drain it at an incredible rate, also because of how the gefiun disturber works, is disrupts the sakuradite from transferring energy, and thus sakuradite could not power the gefiun disturber itself, and the float system, the reason this is a point is because sakuradite has an incredible energy to weight ratio that exceeds any other power source in the code geass universe. Although the point could be made that the Lancelot and 6th generation knightmares and above could still function even with a gefiun net, but i think the gefiun net is too small to incorporate such a countermeasure.

    • @CoreVin975
      @CoreVin975 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Hydr0fisherI’m looking at the show and what Kallen said “You’re still stuck where you are” and seeing that as while the net didn’t shut down the Lancelot completely, it may have made it immovable in terms of its current position rather than the movement of its joints persay. That and I too shall infer that Rakshata probably knew that they developed a countermeasure for it.
      And yenow actually now that I think about it, I think Kallen actually pushed the Lancelot out of the net and therefore left it ineffective since it was out of its range. And you actually make a good point in saying that perhaps the net can only hold up for so long. But I’m pretty sure that my arguement that it made the Lancelot immobile is still true, only just for a moment that is. So perhaps you are right on that part. Issue is well never really know because they literally just disappeared in the very next shot of the Lancelot firing the hadron cannon.
