Thing is with the angel soft you said it was really thin and that's definitely an important trait as you'd need to use more if it's thin so I don't understand why you gave that one so much.
Scott USED to be the best by far, now it's one of the worst. They went to single ply, and not only that, you can read my comment through a sheet. It's disgusting what has become of quality in EVERY product now days. And the reason for the quilted pattern is to rip us off, because it takes a lot less sheets to make a roll.
I remember when Scott was the best. It was a staple in our household for years. It was my mom's favorite. Then it just became worse and worse. Who cares if it has 1000 sheets per roll when they are so thin that you have to use 10-15 to wipe?
We had to switch.

What I want to know is which T.P. leaves behind the nasty paper balls? I want to avoid those please!

Doing a proper tp test, you have to talk about septic safety, does it leave behind residue and when you wipe, does it keep the stuff away from your fingers and hands. Cottonelle tends to be the best tp out there. Scott is way too rough. Can’t stand it. Angel Soft is a good brand for the price, but, not a thick. Charmin comes close to being soft and thick, but, texture is not as good as cottonelle.
John Wayne Toilet Paper.......rough, tough, and doesn't take crap off anyone.
Costco’s Kirkland brand is the main reason people get a membership. It’s why I did some years ago after sampling it at friends house. Documentary about Costco also said the reason many go there is to get the TP. Seriously great quality.

Well, Cottonelle and Quilted Northern have both downgraded their tp and Panda is my current go to.

Angel Soft is one of the worst brands to me too. My sister buys that brand to save a few bucks.
