I would think that the average Necron, wouldn't be much different than the AI robots, and the ones with souls and free will being able to make deals and be corrupted.
Hey Major, is there anyway you can talk about what animals from old earth still exist? What kind of pets people have, war animals the Imperium uses, and beasts of burden?
Funny side effect of all pyskers getting a power boost from the Warp is that previously mundane Imperium priests have started to more often manifest "miracles" when in reality, they were just tapping into their latent psyker powers. Which threw the Tau for a loop when all of a sudden, a human priest is flying through the air with wings of light cutting their battlesuits in half.
Imperial Fists with thr Black Templars would be an interesting one. don't need to guard and defend if they're already dead... seems to be the Black Templars approach.

Yeah, but it's Warp fuckery. Time and space are just suggestions with a Warp tear of that immensity. From what it sounds like the Rift formed faster than the speed of light and crossed the galaxy in moments.

It's wild man.
@the36lessons11 I agree, the Warp doesn't really have a concrete concept of "time". Like slannesh was officially born in m30 but all the other chaos gods said that to them she had always existed. When ships jump through the Warp their Gellar fields protect them by exerting the rules of our reality around the ship in the Warp, thus making us experience time as described our experiences and making it so that demons don't flood the ship as they are like a fish in lava in our reality. When the great rift opened it it within moments spread from one end of the galaxy to the other and f*cked up time everywhere, in some sectors time slowed down and in others decades passed by in an instant. Our reality and the warp aren't supposed to mix, so what's happening right now is very unnatural, as reality and unreality literally tear at each other.
In the Codex for the Leagues of Votann they cover their reaction and the effects of the great rift opening. Some of the lore in there is bonkers, like the ancestor core that went insane when the nids ate everything on the planet except for it!
I kind of liked that bit as it showed that even the uber AI's were capable of feeling the loss of it's people and becoming unhinged because of it .. i guess it plays heavily into the factions unique AI-Fleshbags society.
It's gonna be a bit difficult since the lore of the 4th expansion (the one that has the most detail) has been retconned twice, the 5th one is still ongoing and the 6th is still in the planing stage
to summarize in case he doesn't, the first was the T'au coming out and building their first colonies, the second was just before the damocles gulf crusade where they got their first taste of combat with the imperium, the 3rd was the one where farsight went out to reclaim the worlds lost during that crusade and eventually the one where he went and founded the enclaves (though I might be wrong and it may be more of a shadowsun job with farsights stuff happening just before, and Majorkill's already pretty much summed up the last two. I can give a little but of the Votann from their codex. The rift opening devastated many worlds and hold in the blink of an eye as you would expect. Many Leagues wanted to just consolidate and protect their strongholds, but Uthar the destined convinced them they need to start fighting back properly so they can survive. Specifically many World Eater warbands started attacking them and they have been fighting them in a warzone: Orgvary. So TLDR of course they did not like it but they seemed to be struggling between consolidating and protecting vs actually fighting back. There are some cool stories from the codex about it. Unfortunately nothing bigger. We really need a Votann centered book.
You know a funny thing revealed recently is apparently a chunk of the Tyranids ships that got consumed by the Warp during the Devastation of Baal eventually ended up in the Maelstrom and are fucking with the Red Corsairs. Hey Major, could you give an update on how the Big E prints are coming along? Can't wait to see everyone's reaction when I pull him out just when all hope seems lost for my Custodes.
Can you do a video discussing the primarch’s fighting styles in detail? I believe there are videos in discussion of fights that happened in WH40k that go in depth of them and some of them are primarch fights but even though they do discuss their fighting styles I would like your description of them overall because I find your content quite entertaining
Got an idea, what was the reaction of everyone when the emperor was interred upon the golden throne? I know the primarchs were super depressed and the custodes resorted to stripping (that's not a joke they did actually do that) but how about everyone else?
The Votann were revealed because of the Great Rift, and were cut in half (or in three), says so in their codex, it has a map of their empire in it too, but its a bit wonky. It seems like they just really see the great rift opening up as a way to get more resources, see if there's a way to fix their AI gods, and a great grudge that needs to be set right.
Orks, Necrons, and Tyranids are my favorite reactions. Orks: "Party's gettin' good boyz!!!" Necrons: "Uuugh, I just woke up and everything's on fire... I do not have the fucks to give about this." Tyranids: "Fuck this!! Fuck you!! Eat Kronos you Daemonic monstrosities!!"
3:50- I’m starting to think that the artist that made the artwork that you show on your channel left at least 1 “did you see it” things in each picture!?! I could be wrong but since I started looking for them at least 70% of the pictures have it!!! I over think everything, don’t worry about it! Lol
So basically it was a double-edged sword for everyone (even Chaos and the Imperium) except the Orks, who view it solely as a good thing, and the Necrons, who view it solely as a bad thing (and grim reminder) Never change 40K
There is but imo the resurrection of the Lion was done very poorly. Felt like the team was like fuck we need to quickly push out a loyalist primarch model instead of being a great story.
In fact the custodes are maybe the only one in the imperium who a bit happy about the great rift. After daddy emperor can speak to them in their dreams again!
Hey major you know that video you made on the fifth chaos god, what if be’lakor is that chaos god and When the other chaos gods made him they actually made another chaos god and then went oh shit we made another chaos god and were like ok we’ll just destroy him but cause he was a chaos god they couldn’t do and all they could do was downgrade him to a daemon prince!?

Can you do a video about the space marines that led the legions before they got their primarchs
Legion Masters would be great.
I definitely need more Leagues of Votann lore
Right off the bat, a huge red stripe across the milky way.
What if the Emperor lost the Unification Wars or what would the galaxy be like if the Imperium didn't exist?
Alot more aliens, less humans (or more diverse human civilizations), less chaos armies, no Tyranid invasion, no Necron mass awakening
@@_NIKOS9_NIKOSthink their would still be more as the space elfs where the ones who brought slaneesh and don't forget that mankind had ran into other races that also praised the chaos gods
Would probably still be necrons as they where still gonna wakeup at some point so it would just be different factions fighting without humans in the mix or as a more minor group instead of the force they are now
That was interesting, MK is pumping up tons of content lately!
Hello Majorkill,
Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.
Something I like is that no matter what any other species might say.
Humanity was the one to split the galaxy in half.
First. Make a video about thick chicks of the Warhammer
Neggawat
What cultured question, truly a moment of time
I would like to second this motion 🔥🔥
Girls who can kill by clapping the cheeks
Literally posted 18 seconds ago for me, I'm now going to pretend I've already watched everything
The emperor's children and the orks are the happiest with the rift. The green boys get an infinite amount of rounds of slugging it out with demons. All they have to do is spawn camp and wait for the bell to ring.
The purple sl*ts just want to double penetrate the rift with space hulks because it reminds them of Slaaneshis gash
Magnificent video Fulgrim!
Day 7 of asking for a dedicated series of videos detailing in depth the Lion El'Heresy
From what I've read of the LoV codex, the Great Rift is indeed what pushed them out of the Galactic Core.
It seems like they just really see the great rift opening up as a way to get more resources, see if there's a way to fix their AI gods, and a great grudge that needs to be set right.
yo bro, nice vid can you do an episode were you explain what every faction dus to bring back there dead
Please consider doing a video about the kinds of monsters El Jonson was beating the shit out of as a kid on Calaban.
How the Primarchs treated Imperial army units serving under them?
soon 600k subs! Woop Woop!
Orks, Necrons, and Tyranids are my favorite reactions.
Orks: "Party's gettin' good boyz!!!"
Necrons: "Uuugh, I just woke up and everything's on fire... I do not have the fucks to give about this."
Tyranids: "Fuck this!! Fuck you!! Eat Kronos you Daemonic monstrosities!!"
Can we get a video on Lord Solar Arcadian Leontus?
For The Imperium!
3:50- I’m starting to think that the artist that made the artwork that you show on your channel left at least 1 “did you see it” things in each picture!?! I could be wrong but since I started looking for them at least 70% of the pictures have it!!! I over think everything, don’t worry about it! Lol
*"F@#&%!"* - a common reaction.
They went … aaaaaaaaaaa and Shît got real
So basically it was a double-edged sword for everyone (even Chaos and the Imperium) except the Orks, who view it solely as a good thing, and the Necrons, who view it solely as a bad thing (and grim reminder)
Never change 40K
How about giving sigmar some mentions or videos on recent lore for that setting?
Gorks Grin!!
Imperium; Oh no!
Tau; oh no!
ORKZ; OH YEA!
of course the Orks would see the opening of the Great Rift as an opportunity for more fighting
Is there enough lore for a similar video to this one and the Guiliman's ressurection to be made about the Lion's ressurection?
There is but imo the resurrection of the Lion was done very poorly. Felt like the team was like fuck we need to quickly push out a loyalist primarch model instead of being a great story.
In fact the custodes are maybe the only one in the imperium who a bit happy about the great rift. After daddy emperor can speak to them in their dreams again!
Wonder if u do Warhammer Fantasy lore or AoS lore, something tells me you'll enjoy Gotrick & Felix
The Imperium - Suffers a headache.
Fascinating, Thank you Major, The Orks love it so it can not be all Bad.
Lets rip open another one and suck all the Tin Boys into it.
My two favorite Aussies are Steve Irwin and Majorkill.
Major was in diapers when in 2003 my chapter fought and won the defense of Cadia.
Necron: The primitives tore a hole in the fabric of physical and spiritual realms.
Necron Overlord: Really? Again?
I'm all for the great Waaagh! Make the universe Green again!
The rift opening has me worried 40K's gonna get end-timed
Hey major you know that video you made on the fifth chaos god, what if be’lakor is that chaos god and When the other chaos gods made him they actually made another chaos god and then went oh shit we made another chaos god and were like ok we’ll just destroy him but cause he was a chaos god they couldn’t do and all they could do was downgrade him to a daemon prince!?
Bring Back Timmy. Video 13
How did the Galaxy React to the Opening of the Great Rift? "it is wat it is"
bob and the boys had beers
Majorkill uploads 4 days in a row? Am I tripping? What's going on!
Any chance you could do a video on the leagues? Im just getting back into the setting, dont know a damn thing about them but they remind me of my favorite warhammer fantasy race (dwarfs).
Orks:"The daemons taste like shit!" 😂 I can hear them in my head lol
There it is. I wouldn't have been satisfied without a clapped cheeks drop.
