Everytime i listen to this song, i remembered holding my 1st born Son in my arms and he looked at me and smiled, unfortunately he passed on at age 37, its the most painful experience in life to lose a child, thats the reason i do not celebrate my birthday anymore !

Beautiful. Just beautiful. This song has a history that goes into the past many many decades, beginning as a folkish/country song, but it was Roberta Flack who brought it into this style where it truly belongs, which is rediscovered now and then for a new generation. You did it justice :-)

It is my passion and not my desire for income...I played a gig at the American Embassy in Madrid many years ago...my first one. I realized that I did not want to perform. I just wanted to play the piano.
@Sue Millard. There's a part of me that would love to, but I'm 47. 3 young kids and age....and it's just really not feasible. At least, I can't see how at the moment. But i love the fact that you think i could. :). For now i'm happy just singing and pushing myself to improve.
