@@iditspiro The truth is that I have always lived linked to physical activity, health and sports. When I have known the conscious movement it has been fortunate for me. ❤
Dear Idit, it's been a while now, since I discovered your channel, and I absolutely adore it! I love the way you teach and how you explain the exercises, it is a big inspiration for me. I would be very curious to know how you became a Pilates teacher? 💕🌸 Thank you for your effort, your loving kindness and the great work you allow us to do with our bodies!! Djuna
i am so grateful for your kind and generous feedback!!! i came to Pilates as a young dancer with a back injury, and it really helped throughout my career as a dancer. i moved from London to tel Aviv in 1995, and again through another injury met Dror Raz, a physiotherapist who specialised in treating dancers with pilates, who invited me to work with him; at that time Pilates was not very well known, and as it grew in popularity here i became more involved in it, and less in dance. I'm also a shiatsu practitioner, which i feel influences the way i teach. how about you? and where in the world are you based?
@@iditspiro Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! I think I can notice all the different interests and influences you have in your classes, this is what makes them so unique and special. I already heard of the link between Pilates and Dancing...but maybe it was in the context of Gyrotonic. I did some Gyro, but only for a few months. Funny enough, i have discovered Shiatsu in 2019 and I love it. What kind of dance do or did you practice? I am 29 years old and I live in Berne, Switzerland, together with my husband, who is from Paris. I am a researcher! But kind of in search of my path professionally 😊 Djuna
it sounds like you are attracted to movement and working with the body, have you thought about doing Pilates teacher training? i trained at London Contemporary Dance School, so i mainly did contemporary dance, but also experimented with lots of different dance forms
@@iditspiro Awesome the mix you have in your talents! Yes I find it very fascinating, but I prefer to just enjoy doing pilates as a student for now. I'm curious to follow your courses that are still to come, and the ones that I haven't seen so far ♥️
I asked because I know of several people who love Pilates and felt that they were not truly satisfied with the work they were doing who went on to do a teacher training course and made a change in their career. Just wanted to throw in that thought as perhaps an option in the future ♥️
I hadn’t, but it’s a great idea, thanks 🙏😀it might have to wait a bit because I’m a little overwhelmed by the fact that I’ve gone back to work after having had so much more time during lockdown 😂
I have really enjoyed this session. The center and scapular mobility are important. Thank You very much !!
Thank you so much for your intelligent feedback!! It sounds like you are a teacher yourself?
