About his captain ability, it's great. You can use the ship skill on any stage. Specially Sunny, Merry New skill, coffin boat will give you straight 2 turns CD, and level 12 Megalo skill is busted with him now
Really confused with the special descriptions of the 3 new characters: take Shanks for example, I know you need another one that gives you ATK boost before Shanks's last part of special augment it by 1.5 times. What I'm not sure is the 4x type attack - to enjoy that part of his special, do you need another character to provide a type attack boost before Shanks? In other words, is it that in a Shanks only team (without the other 2 new characters, and without the new Roger as the glue), you'd need Character 1 - ATK up, Character 2 - Type ATK up, in order to enjoy the full special from Shanks? Thanks for any input.

Hey fellas. Recently I've seen that characters have a new? "luck" attribute. What does that mean? It says, it changes the appearance of treasures. Which ones? Treasure map?
I honestly dont think cooldown reduction is all that important, since the content that they will make for you to use the character will reduce their cooldown by itself anyway. There's no content in the game aside from Kizuna and treasure map and they always reduce your cooldowns if you bring specific classes/colors. The cooldown part sounds good on paper, if there was actually content that didnt reduce it by itself but there isn't. Unless you count all the old clashes and stuff but the new units no diff it all anyway
Just to be clear. If you have color affinity, the extra affinity from shanks special wont be applied right? like lets say you have a 3x affinity. After using shanks special and got excellent, you'll get the chain boundary but you wont have 4x affinity right? So its more like do I want the chain boundary? if yes, then apply an affinity boost before shanks special. If not, I'll get the bigger affinity boost from shanks but no chain boundary. Is that correct?

My one question about the new units, I was trying my new Luffy and Ace, I noticed that when used with Zoro/Sanji or Nami/Carina overwritten boost is only for one turn. And captain ability of luffy or Ace doesn’t extend the buff. I think that it’s not supposed to work that way.
So for example I switch with Zoro/Sanji (atk and orb boost) afterwards I use for example Ace as captain - he will boost orbs 4x for 1turn and won’t extend the buff… ofc he will aswell do the rest of his special
You can’t super evolve this shanks since he has no 5 * version, you can only pull him at 6* or pull his alternative art. You are probably referring to his alternate art, it has no difference since it doesn’t boost his stats or anything just visual effects
I got two Shanks in total, should i keep both of them in case i want to use ink to change the appearance of one of them or use him to level up the rush?
You need to ask yourself how important it is for you to have 2 units that are basically the same.If you don’t spend major money on the game you will most likely don’t get any copy of him.and the pens to change his artwork and number are very hard to get
I recently just got back into playing optc and I just have a question when i bought Tomes from rayleigh's shop. They never appeared when I wanted to use them. Is it a glitch, or do i have to do something else to get them ? Also, does anyone know why all my other items, such as special level and tomes, all got deleted from my account?
How you get like all the characters special max at the start. I have the same team and with special lvl max. But no for sanji and I don't have ace. Can someone explain this
Probably close but possibly separate tiers based on which units they pair well with for the majority of content. He takes that pretty heavily into account so I think they will probably all be tier 1+ characters but not sure which units he might move.
You either need to feed dupes into the character to raise potential abilities or tablets and remember to always use dupes for things like final tap, rush and super tnd since you will rarely see tablets for those
I did 10 draws in the first part and got two copies of Luffy, one copy of Shanks, and one copy of Roger. Should I continue or not... even if I continue? Which one (For your information, this is my third day )
That's super lucky, those are all the units you need, now if you start new you should be getting a 72 hours only rare recruit. Pull there cuz there's awesome units and all of them come 4* or 5* maxed out ready.
Jesus i really hate this co op mode... it seems like im playing with bots... no one can see there is a skip turn button ehich helps by a ton cuz it skips the turn and let you finish instead of them, but it also not activating the boss pre-emtive effects when you not clearing the stage after the 1st turn when you got to the boss... i could have won numerous times this co op mission but the players have such an ego to be the one to beat the boss. Its kinda depressing lol

Unless a buff is labeled as "can be overwritten" using a special that applies a buff already on the crew won't change it
