- Welcome to my first-ever playthrough of Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic! In this series, we dive into Soviet-style city-building and resource management, starting with a strong focus on the oil industry. 🌍🛢️
📅 Episode 1: Establishing Our Town with Oil Industry Focus
Join me as we lay the foundation of our Soviet republic, building our very first town from the ground up. In this episode, we'll:
Scout the perfect location for our oil industry.
Construct essential infrastructure to support our growing population.
Ended up not getting the town completed, but laid some roads!
👀 Why Watch?
You'll love this series if you enjoy city-building games that focus on detailed economic and industrial systems. Watch as we transform a barren landscape into a bustling republic.

Finally I find a new channel playing this game most of the channels that I watch playing this are on episode 100 plus
I'm glad you're here! I hope you enjoy the series and I look forward to hearing from you in the upcoming episodes you watch!
I'm gonna watch based on this comment. Really hope it's not just a build shit and press play deal. We need to know how to play for real. Start small and grow. Praying this vid gets me my wasted money back for this so far junk game
@@stefanhager8950 I definitely am not like most TH-camrs out there. I make tons of mistakes, but I show you the mistakes as I built. I would highly recommend Season 2 cause it’s a more in depth run where I explain the game while we slowly build. I hope I can show you the beauty and complexity of this game!
@Braave_ so far so good 👍. Thank you
@@stefanhager8950 glad to hear!
Starting a channel with W&R. Dude has balls. Really enjoy your chill attitude/voice. Looking forward to seeing how this continues. Love this game.
Bold is the only way! Glad my audio sounds good, I hope to see you around in the comments more!
@@Braave_ do you plan on doing live streams? Just curious.
I don't think for Workers and Resources, but for other games absolutely! I already have a semi-established twitch account www.twitch.tv/braave
@@Braave_ oh nice! Hope you consider uploading vods to TH-cam. Twitch vods are the worst...
I was even debating about doing TH-cam lives eventually. I'll bring over the VODs from Twitch to TH-cam!
I’ve just started watching videos of this game in the past couple days but I’m super tempted to buy it now also I think minimal cuts in the vids would be best I really enjoy the planning that goes on
I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing this game! I will keep it to minimal cuts/doing most things on camera, thank you. I hope to hear from you in the upcoming episodes you watch!!!
@@Braave_ IIts good to watch the planning and hearing reasoning behind it etc. I like watching the long play videos and generally I'll be playing the game on the second monitor.
Keep up the good videos.
That is a good point! I need to walk myself through planning (as I normally forget key mechanics). Season 1 is a big learning experience for me. If we fail, we will continue to Season 2 and keep improving!!
Just found this video and channel today and had to subscribe, know this series and others are gonna be bangers. Wanna know how I know? That significant run time devoted to that intersection
LMAO I love this comment! I am glad you enjoyed. Currently on Season 2, had a heating issue…(video tomorrow!)
This is price per 1 ton of oil if You ask:), next step of hardcore mode - don't use pump jacks and mine building to look for resources, build city and research it in tech university :) and next step of hardcore do this and survive without loan :) it's possible I already do this
We placed a Technical University which we will start research to find all ore & oil deposits. I think it was ambitious to try and get oil early as it was so far away! Hopefully I do not need to take out a loan, but I think it might happen! I hope to hear from you in more episodes!
game's so good, thanks for the video
It truly is! I appreciate you watching and I hope to hear from you on the next episode!! I am trying to figure out a good name for our first town, got any suggestions?!
Just a some help. Construction officers Can from on spot, work on the Hole map. The limit is the travle time for workers, they go home after 5 houres of travle, but the machines Will work all over. The yellow highlight is the automatic work area. I always hav, automatic work, turn off, except if i have the ressources, like to upgrade the Road, to gravle Road, and don’t hav to pay for it.
@@martinhansen6466 I never knew that! Thank you!
You export and import by the ton. So 41 ruble per ton of oil.
Thank you! Figured that out in Season 2. Hopefully you tune in there!
your playlist is upside down just a headsup buddy ^^
Oh no! Thank you, I will get that fixed. I appreciate it, and I hope you are enjoying the series so far
Got the game yesterday and it's so much to learn and so fun to learn at the same time. Using your video as a small tutorial. Keep up the good work dude!
Season 1 was a learning curve for me. Season 2 is a lot better! First episode released today :)
It's so much to learn in the start but even more fun when you manage to do it! Will watch season 2 when i'm done with this season.
@@zedassdraug Glad to hear! I look forward to hearing from you more in future episodes! :)
It would be great to follow the process of planning the city. I particularly enjoy watching time-lapses, even if you have to rebuild multiple times.
I will look into time lapses. I like walking everyone through the process as well!
