As an almost fifty year old left winger, the young person with the long red hair (who was absolutely spot on in most of what they said) should be made aware of the fact that there is no-one currently serving as an MP who did National Service. So not a single one of them can use the excuse that it was something that they had to do as an excuse to bring it back.
In fact it was only in place for around fourteen years and my almost eighty year old Dad was too young to have been a part of it and his Dad was too old…and had served for the entire six years of WWII.
Even the majority of the electorate that they are trying to pander to with the prospect of National Service were too young to have ever been called up for it. It’s one of those militant statements that right wingers have been coming out with ever since it was abolished.
Oh and can anyone really be surprised by the type of things said by candidates in a party that Farage is connected with? If I remember correctly there were UKIP candidates when Farage was leader who wanted to outlaw women wearing trousers and legalise marital r@pe (I expect that it would only be legalised when committed by a husband on a wife but never for when a man may be the victim).

But it's these sorts of people who have grown up with all the benefits of socialism and then pulled the ladder up after they personally have had it so good.
Inequality is constantly rising as we've gone to neoliberalism over last 45 years... Austerity over last 15... But it's that the young are "lazy". All I can see it doing is more disenfranchised young voters who have been forced to work against their will and not been paid for their work. Hardly, they took everything presented at face value as truthful instead of being somewhat sceptical of what some random guy with a microphone is telling them the truth, accurately and wholeheartedly.
PoliticsJOE actively misrepresented one of Nigel's quotes and provided no context or explanation as to what he was actually saying (The Muslim value one).
The woman literally diminished those who vote reform as being uneducated on politics, yet the person standing right next to her admitted at the very beginning he's got no clue on politics and he doesn't vote reform. This didn't set off a 'maybe it's not as simple as them being uninformed' in her head?
The same woman just branded them all reform voters are stupid and uneducated. Yeah I'm sure demonising an entire voting block of people in your country works instead of understanding their position. Even further this woman accused reform voters of simply believing headlines, yet she accused Farage of being a racist, bigot, but if you were to ask her why she thinks that, she'll likely just respond with nothing of substance. Incredibly ironic.
One of the other women in the video practically said wanting to keep Britain, British is a regressive thing. Like how is that not a massive red flag for anyone? Would you tell an African country, a middle eastern country, maybe Palestine, or another country like Indonesia it's regressive for them to want to maintain their cultural and national identity? seriously?

It's scary how uninformed and easily led people are, they've no idea why someone would say reform are racist, only because a newspaper who doesn't agree said so. You talk as if the major parties "aren't as bad" when reality, facts and history is they are bad, they claim the same change every year for over a decade and still it seems you'd support them, which is why we're in a steep decline.

Gutter / click bait journalism on the left is just as bad as gutter journalism on the right. And those who lap it up are equally as thick imo. Its for people who dont have the brains to understand policy. Incidentally, Reform do have good ones! but so many will never even read them because they live on a drip feed of sound bites. Thats what Politics Joe is, that is their purpose and why it is funded.
