    I went on this voyage with a sea kayak last Spring (2021). I recall spending more time portaging than kayaking. I was really lucky to go in April and have nothing but sunshine. A fantastic trip.

      I think it depends on the season you go in to how much portaging vs paddling!

    Thanks Lacy, I just found out about the loop and i wanted to know what it was actually like.
    You've given me the best example I could ask for.
    Real people, on a real family trip. Wonderful video, we're going.

    I just finished the one week 116km Bowron Lake circuit w. 10.8km portages. It was one of the most epic adventures I’ve ever done - very challenging and physically demanding but the rewards are great. Now I am researching about my next adventure and “the Sayward circuit”looks like a piece of cake to me.

    Thanks! Just what I was looking for. I’m looking to solo this in April. Looks like it’d be rough portaging solo.

    I loved your video. Thanks for sharing! Did you make your coffee filter? I've never seen another like it.
    I understand your video is long enough as it is and it concentrates on the circle tour but the fun and experience around the campfire is something I miss. It might take me 2 weeks ( but I'm old and may only enjoy these experiences by watching you)! I'd want the wheels for sure (-;
    Thanks again for posting the video!

    Like your video! Awesome to share time with family and friends in such a way. Using those wheels to portage looks cumbersome to me. A great many parks forbit their use... Even if they did, terrain often doesn't allow for use of wheels. And personally, I really wouldn't want to look at them sitting in center of my canoe.

    Hello from Ontario you guys seem to me excuse me for maybe assuming but because of your personality man with all the tattoos something that I just thought of as soon as I had seen the combination of the front of your boat and yourself you and your family should put their own type of tattoo on that board in front of you I'm sorry I used to be a canoest but because it's repaired that's why I guess I'm calling it a board and then stain it I think that would be awesome project enjoy if you do

    • @lacey_jordan
      @lacey_jordan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be a great project! My husband is actually a tattoo artist I’m sure he would love to create something like that. We sand it down and re finish is every couple years so that would be great the next time we do it!

      In my 32 years growing up on the island I’ve never seen a grizzly bear on the island, I’ve heard they can swim over from the mainland but it’s so rare. When we are up northern bc - kitimat area we would always have a shot gun. But on the island we don’t - I’ve never carried bear spray because I personally feel like often it can just enrage the bear. On this trip we have never seen a bear usually farther north island we see them!

    I lift up everyone's prayers, wants and needs to You Jesus, please pour out blessings. May Your favor, grace and mercy be upon the world. In Jesus name come help us all. You know our needs and everything else about each of us. In Jesus name amen thank you Jesus praise God 🙏🕊️💕🔥🙏
    Jesus Christ is the son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Come be saved eternally and spend time with Him to know Him. Be free, forgiven, healed, delivered, saved, baptized and let Him show you how He is everything you need. Ask anything in His name 🕊️💕🔥🙏 amen hallelujah praise God thank you Jesus 🙏
    2 chronicles 7 14 says if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land.
    People need to repent, be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleaned of sin, to live how He said and He dwells in the temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He's worthy of everything He said and paid for so I implore you to do as God said. If you love me you will obey me. Praise God thank you Jesus in Jesus name 🙏💕 🔥🕊️
