Just an add on - the Best Buy Edition of AYIN also came with a DVD with a making of, music vids etc.

Pop Trash is such an underrated album. I hope, deluxe digital edition is close...

@@Retro_Man_76 I need the reissue in digital format, it is suitable for me - I'm tired of shipping and other things.

@@carlosalenduran4630 well, vinyl can't contain the remixes and bonuses, it's useless for me.

We foot men appreciate the artwork associated with Red Carpet Massacre ... with the main cover photo being my fave ;-)

I had a few DualDiscs - DD’s Astronaut, Bowie’s Reality and Streisand’s Guilty Pleasures (Too).

Query: on my BMG reissue copy of Pop trash the writing credits are listed as Rhodes - LeRoy - Cuccurullo. Do you think it's just a typo or Mr Le Bon pulled a prank? ^_^

Pop Trash may be the final DD album without any vinyl release at this point ?

I was never able to find Pop Trash in the UK at the time, so I bought it in America Had the Spanish version on it at the end.

ha ha - yeah I'm always clenching my fists watching Paul manhandle the packaging. It's like that friend that comes to your place and looks through your collection of special editions like they trying to get cereal out of a box...

Pop trash was an album I couldn’t get into , it was hard going even though I did the tour of it , Medazzaland I’m not surprised got rejected it was “ weird” think Nick and Warren had too much to do with the projects , Red Carpet Massacre was Record company driven ! All you need is now and Astronaut were great albums ❤

Oh, I like RCM! "Cry Baby Cry" is one of the best traços from this era and it's surprising it wasn't parr of the original álbum itself.
I guess the label chose "Falling Down" as the lead single trying to score another "Ordinary World". The problem is that FD is nowhere as good. I actually find it rather dull.
Working with Timbaland was a bit of a commercial strategy since he was producing and having hits with everyone at the time. The problem is that the artists always ended up recording albums that sounded more like Timbaland recorde than their own. In this respect, I believe that DD have suceeded in recording an album that does have a certain Duran sound to it.
I much prefer RCM to any of the last 2 albums. I didn't enjoy them and never play them.
