Mt Immortal is not my personal "bag of tea" BUT, it is an amazing song that Everybody should listen to at least once in their life. You will find yourself returning to "My Immortal" until the day you die. Just like I do occasionally even if it's not my "bag of tea"
@Grace, couldn't agree more. Amy's vocal range is amazing and unreal. **1ST, LOOKS LIKE YOU ALSO GOT A FAKE POLO ACCOUNT MSG; REPORT/DELETE IT PLS 🙏.** I sent this YT Link to POLO that has both versions of "My Immortal" in one video. #1 w/ piano 🎹 & orchestra 🎻; #2 w/ the band 🎸 🥁 th-cam.com/video/OFU0xuj_76E/w-d-xo.html
I’m a Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Metallica fan. Evanescence is my absolute favorite modern hard rock band. I’ve been to more Evanescence shows than I can count and each one is intense and intimidate, regardless of the venue size. ❤
Amy is breathtakingly beautiful with a hauntingly magnetic voice. She channels all the sorrow she's been through into her songs, which makes her voice even more stunning and powerful. I've never seen anyone with electrifying blue eyes like hers. Great reaction!!
You're going to love Evanescence. Their official videos are the best, you'll get the quality of released recording plus the story or vibe the song tells. 😘😻
Amy Lee ,Delores O'riodan and Stevie Nicks are my top 3 female vocalists ever. Enjoy your discovery of Amy Lee and her beautiful voice ! Love your reactions too!
The band is playing so hard, you can just feel the hard work they're doing, and the main singer of the males is WOW 😲 his voice when he says "Wake me up inside" 🎶 it's so Awesome 🎉
New to the channel. Disturbed brought me here. This is the second song reaction I have watched. This is one of my all time favorite songs & bands. Amy Lee is my favorite female vocalist, songwriter & performer of all time. And I've been around since the 60's and been to many concerts through the years and have kept up with most music genres throughout all those years. There's a video on TH-cam from Britains Got Talent, a young woman's version of this song and her backstory is chilling. I've watched it so many times through the years and it never fails to give me goosebumps. Aliki singing 'Wake Me Up' | Week 6 Auditions | Britain's Got Talent 2013 by Britains's Got Talent. Amazing!
Saw her this summer....great show! Her entire show was fabulous....strong voice and pianist. Catch her if you can. A friend turned her onto me just in the past few years...
Sends shivers through out my whole body every time, has to be at top volume to blow away any shut in your heat,it just makes everything so good. Watch the video to appreciate the construction and beauty of the song. Brilliant suggestion. Makes me feel like anything is possible, a real battle song. Incredible. Sheena, Nothern Ireland xx
Amy Lee and Amy Winehouse - top notch vocalists! But I'm going to request a song that I saw someone else did yesterday - The Warning by Eminem Petty & funny af.
My favorite band. Seen them live many times. Always a great show. My favorite was probably the show they had toured with Lindsey Stirling and both had played on each other's sets. You should try to find a good recording of Hi-lo live by Evanescence with Lindsey. Appreciate your reactions and channel!
LOL, yeah she has a voice. Beyond that when she and this bands original guitarist Ben Moody were teens they wrote some of the greatest goth / emo songs ever. We will show you.
First time hearing your channel , and I’m glad the TH-cam finally put something good into my fyp I’ve already decided that you must go to a good concert (the first one is always the best one.. ok, maybe not best but you will always remember it) Y’all! Let’s make a plan to get this man in a very crowded, $18 beer concert. Everyone deserves to feel that energy at least once
Hard to believe you've never heard this song before, but then again, if you weren't listening to this genre, you wouldn't have. This song was huge back in the 00's, and still holds up all these years later. As good as this live version is, listen to the recorded track, it's that much better.
For most people this song was their introduction to Evanescence. The music video played in regular rotation on MTV, back when they actually played music videos.
Ah yes Amy Lee. She could read me the phone book and I'd still be mesmerized. I'd recommend "my Immortal" and "Broken" as well as 'Going under' to see further examples of her insane vocal range.
I've had the opportunity to see Evanescence live in first Monday, November 03, 2003 Venue: Wolverhampton Civic Hall Location: Wolverhampton, England, United Kingdom there first uk tours at was in the front row and was unbale to breath to see the bands see Amy Lee will blow you away. it from in the soundtrack of the film Daredevil. starring Ben Affleck p.s thank you for the live performed this song
Yeah she has an incredible voice. I like that sometimes this is live. Because I have listened to this sound a thousand times but the logistics of how it's done live is just really interesting. There's a slight variation of it. Not that I blame that. It's easier to do a whisper in a studio then on stage after belting like that for minutes. I love her voice.
You've been reacting to a lot of Nu-metal so I'd definitely you listen to the guys who started the whole Nu-metal movement, KoRn, the two best songs to start with them is either Blind with was their debut song or Freak on a leash which is their biggest song.
My favourites are this, Tourniquet, My Immortal, Going Under and Lithium, among other things they are a quite good range of the band's variety For various reasons the 90's were a fairly dark time musically for me, I have found a bunch of stuff since like The Foo Fighters, but for some reason things almost immediately improved with 2000 (for me, musically), from this era Paramore, The Rasmus, MUSE and Kylie's post 1999 stuff were special highlights
Something to note: The male vocals in this performance are done by Tim McCord, who was the band's bass player then (he's still in the band, he plays guitar now). On the studio version, the male vocals were provided by Paul McCoy, the vocalist for the band 12 Stones. Tim's doing a good job of capturing Paul's tone, but he doesn't have the same control on those long notes.
This song has so much meaning for me, I had just moved into my own flat after a major mental breakdown and this song was the first thing I heard on MTV when I was setting everything up, for me it was so apt, as I was literally just starting my recovery, it hit every possible note and emotion for me, I took my friends and now ex partner to see them live in 2004 as a thank you and explanation all in one because several songs on the Fallen album all ring with me, if I was struggling I would go for a walk with my personal stereo blasting this album.
Awesome Rap/Rock song! This and Linkin Park were the GOATs of this genre! You'll have to check out her collaborations with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm! Thanks for the reaction!
She sounds amazing live! She not only sounds amazing but is dancing, too. I would go see them. I've been to three Maroon 5 concerts, Kelly Clarkson, and so many others. Most don't sing live that well!!💜💜💜 Great song!
Since you’ve never been to a concert and are getting into rock/metal, you should definitely go to Rockville in Daytona Beach! May 18-21st! Your mind would melt at the lineup! Tool will be there!
From this same concert they perform 'My Immortal' which is one of the best live performances i have seen and as heard here, the crowd atmosphere is great
Cant go wrong with any of their catalogue, but now you should check out Seether. Amy and Shaun ( the lead singer of Seether ) dated for awhile and did a song together which is another great song you should check out. For another powerful female lead rock band, check out Devilskin and their song Animal ( thats a gentler introduction to them ) :)
My fave! Thank you for reacting to Evanescence, Polo! My other fave is Within Temptation and would love it if you can react to their songs especially the one called 'Angels' 🙏
I first saw this video when I bought the VHS tape of the movie Daredevil. Stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. The video of this song however this video is a masterpiece of its own just like song you're watching now on stage it's masterpiece definite story to tell you enjoy it you will feel it. Thank you and have a good one bye
I don't know if anyone in all these responses here mentioned this but Amy teamed up with Wagakiband to create a very unique live version of Bring me to Life. Worth checking out.
Hey Polo! You should react to "Alabama Shakes" :) really good band that I'd think you would enjoy! Songs are "Give me all your love, Hold on, Don't wanna fight no more"
I prefer the original video that goes with this song, this is one case where the video version far surpasses the live concert, that video is amazing. I was hoping this would be it.
I liked it for what it was (at the time), buuuttt.. the GF (at the time ) loVVVVVVeDDD!!!! it, & put her in a good place (despite 2 different forms of depression), so this really hits the soft spot for me. :)

My Immortal Polo! My Immortal by Evanescence the official video! Forever mesmerizing and stamped on your soul! Love ya, buddy!
Seconded, must do the official video. That song 100% turns anyone into an Evanescence fan.
oh no, it's gonna make me cry.... again
Oh yeah very good song
Mt Immortal is not my personal "bag of tea" BUT, it is an amazing song that Everybody should listen to at least once in their life. You will find yourself returning to "My Immortal" until the day you die. Just like I do occasionally even if it's not my "bag of tea"
I concur
An artist who can sing live and sound exactly like her studio songs is PURE talent.
Saw her in May and she still sounds amazing!
Amy Lee's voice is mesmerizing. Evanescence is a great band. Loved this ❤️ "My Immortal" is wonderful
#1 w/ piano 🎹 & orchestra 🎻; #2 w/ the band 🎸 🥁

My immortal sucks.
A few years ago, I went to see Halestorm and she dropped by. I tell you what, the dual powerhouse vocals of Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee was astounding!
Yeppppp. He should do a reaction to "break in" by those for for sureeee
She has such an amazing, iconic voice. Her stage presence is amazing too. Evanescence performed this like a well oiled machine.
The voice of an angel!!
What about jen ledger from skillet ?
This song is still on my Playlist and listened to regularly. It's beautiful
I love Amy's voice, so haunting
The band is playing so hard, you can just feel the hard work they're doing, and the main singer of the males is WOW 😲 his voice when he says "Wake me up inside" 🎶 it's so Awesome 🎉
Damn, I literally had the chills and I've known this from it's release!!! Could be one of the best live presentations I've ever seen, fr!!!

I call Amy Lee the Goddess of Rock. She's a rare breed.
Love Evanescence her voice 🤙
Saw her this summer....great show! Her entire show was fabulous....strong voice and pianist. Catch her if you can. A friend turned her onto me just in the past few years...
Evanescence is by far one of my favorite bands.
I absolutely love her voice. I could listen to her sing for hours
I get chills every time I listen to this song❤
This is what is called real music dude
Sends shivers through out my whole body every time, has to be at top volume to blow away any shut in your heat,it just makes everything so good. Watch the video to appreciate the construction and beauty of the song. Brilliant suggestion. Makes me feel like anything is possible, a real battle song. Incredible. Sheena, Nothern Ireland xx
It is no coincidence that every time I hear these lyrics and vocals it reaches into my soul. Chills every time
This song I’ve heard a lot and never tire of it. Amy is one badass rocker. Really, an iconic song. Great to hear Evanescence on your channel again. 🔥
Her voice is haunting glad u dug it
this was my favorite band in high school. i love them so much :D
Amy Lee’s voice is mesmerizing and stunning. She is absolutely gorgeous too 🙂
My Immortal from the same concert is crazy!
Amy Lee and Amy Winehouse - top notch vocalists!
But I'm going to request a song that I saw someone else did yesterday - The Warning by Eminem
Petty & funny af.

Saw them last year with Korn...she still sounds amazing live!!!!
LOL, yeah she has a voice. Beyond that when she and this bands original guitarist Ben Moody were teens they wrote some of the greatest goth / emo songs ever. We will show you.
First time hearing your channel , and I’m glad the TH-cam finally put something good into my fyp

"Sweet Sacrifice" - she really lets loose on that one.
Is there anything more beautiful on this earth than a passionate woman's voice like Amy's?
Going Under & My Immortal
I saw them live last November! Amazing show, especially as I was an OG teen emo Evanescence fan back in the early 2000s 😂
I had the pleasure of seeing her perform last October.
She cleanses the soul. Rock and gorgeous vocals combined.
They played this, Guerillaz and Linkin Park non-stop.
Amy Lee singing this song with Wagakki Band is amazing. The cross cultural influence and respect makes me smile.
Amy Lee is my #1 female vocalist. (Amongst some other greats). Her voice melts my heart.
Love this long time
YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO A CONCERT?!?!?!?! OH bud, you gotta experience that energy.
Ah yes Amy Lee. She could read me the phone book and I'd still be mesmerized. I'd recommend "my Immortal" and "Broken" as well as 'Going under' to see further examples of her insane vocal range.
The video is cool and her voice is amazing. Please do some video versions so you can hear the complexities of her voice
Check out Halestorm - I miss the Misery
You stumbled upon anotherc amazing band
Yesssss My Immortal! Official video! Also Lithium is beautiful also!
I've had the opportunity to see Evanescence live in first

God damn Amy Lee hits hard. I forgot about this song. So fn good she’s such a bad ass chick

Amy Lee has a beautifully haunting voice ! Have you done My Immortal yet? It's great
Happy to be following your channel ! Have been around here since 2015, scan it anytime you want, don't upload or download, just share ✌
Try "My Immortal" next.
Her voice is just piercing like a bell. This was their splash song and their 1st hit. My favorite of theirs is Lithium.
You've been reacting to a lot of Nu-metal so I'd definitely you listen to the guys who started the whole Nu-metal movement, KoRn, the two best songs to start with them is either Blind with was their debut song or Freak on a leash which is their biggest song.
Best female voice ever
This is my favorite song EVER!!!!!!
This was my introduction to Evanescence, and I was riveted when I heard it on my car radio.
My favourites are this, Tourniquet, My Immortal, Going Under and Lithium, among other things they are a quite good range of the band's variety

Amy Lee is amazing! Definitely look into more Evanescence!
Amy Lee is one of the all time greats. She's up there with Ann Wilson as one of rock's best ever vocalists.
Thanks so much, for posting this! I've heard that song, a time or 2... Now THAT'S a good "First thing in the morning" Song!
Can you believe that this is her singing voice live??
Awesome Rap/Rock song! This and Linkin Park were the GOATs of this genre! You'll have to check out her collaborations with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm! Thanks for the reaction!
She sounds amazing live! She not only sounds amazing but is dancing, too. I would go see them. I've been to three Maroon 5 concerts, Kelly Clarkson, and so many others. Most don't sing live that well!!💜💜💜 Great song!

Brings me back to high school In my freshman and sophomore years
Hi-lo oh that’s a beauty
Cant go wrong with any of their catalogue, but now you should check out Seether. Amy and Shaun ( the lead singer of Seether ) dated for awhile and did a song together which is another great song you should check out.
For another powerful female lead rock band, check out Devilskin and their song Animal ( thats a gentler introduction to them ) :)
Saw them live. Amy has a good voice.
My fave! Thank you for reacting to Evanescence, Polo! My other fave is Within Temptation and would love it if you can react to their songs especially the one called 'Angels' 🙏
And they touring together!!!! Amazing two vocals
You need to watch it with the lyrics. Very intense words go with this song.
The truth will set you free
Even in Death is my favorite Evanescence song, and one of the tracks where Amy Lee's voice is at its most haunting.
Our Angelic badass.
Cheers Polo 🍻 This is a Classic 😀🔥
My favorite band.
You need to do the live version from last year with Jacoby from Papa roach!
Absolutely do My Immortal next! And be prepared for all the feels 😁
You definitely need to watch/react to Nightwish-Ghost Love Score(Live at Wacken)
She did this with the group "Seether"
One of the greatest songs ever. The sound quality of this video is very rough, but you tell the greatness of Amy and the band.
I don't know if anyone in all these responses here mentioned this but Amy teamed up with Wagakiband to create a very unique live version of Bring me to Life. Worth checking out.
Another view for the music video of My Immortal by Evanescence
Hey Polo! You should react to "Alabama Shakes" :) really good band that I'd think you would enjoy! Songs are "Give me all your love, Hold on, Don't wanna fight no more"
Amy is a classically like thing opera vocalist!!!! She is an angel walking among us!!!!!
One of the band members and writer on all these first album songs, David Hodges, went on to write big hits for other artists as well.
I'm in love with Amy Lee!
my immortal music video......
I usually say start with the record as opposed to a live version (and I still would) but Amy Lee is such a pro that this version holds up great
I prefer the original video that goes with this song, this is one case where the video version far surpasses the live concert, that video is amazing. I was hoping this would be it.
Evanescense has mastered powerful music. Music you always feel.
I liked it for what it was (at the time), buuuttt.. the GF (at the time ) loVVVVVVeDDD!!!! it, & put her in a good place (despite 2 different forms of depression), so this really hits the soft spot for me. :)
