Did you ever find a fix? I’m going through this now w my son’s TV. My Xbox connects to his tv but his won’t. His Xbox connects to my Sony but not his Samsung
That's usually bad HDMI connection or something to do with HDMI cec gremlin, sometimes pulling the HDMI lead out of the TV, power off, then on,then put HDMI cable in, the CEC should recognise it then, it's happened to me with a fire TV cube once 👍
I got a lot of info that this tv doesn't support 120hz but it does for me on the series s but when it comes to the ps5 it doesn't support it any ideas why?
When I switch to 4k mode my TV loses the signal. Xbox recognizes the TV and says it supports 4k uhd, but when I switch the TV goes blank then gives a message saying signal lost make sure device is on, switch source, etc. Any idea why my TV is unable to recognize the 4k signal from my Xbox?
Look at video modes in settings on xbox make sure 4k is ticked make sure 50hz is ticked make sure 24hz is ticked make sure you allow auto low latency mode and allow variable refresh rate allow hddr 10 and also make sure auto hdr is ticked if that doesn't fix it go to TV settings and make sure hdr is enabled and make sure game mode is auto that should do it if it still doesn't work put your xbox into 60hz and then change to 4k your xbox might not be switching the refresh rate back to 60hz when your trying to put it in 4k mode
Greetings, I don't know why the console turns on the TV when you press the control, but when you turn off the console the TV stays on. and the hdmi-cec is active on the tv and on xbox in the first 2 options which are... the console activates devices, the console deactivates devices. Hey Steve, I appreciate all the videos! I have a question for you, I do have a UN65TU7000 along with an Xbox series X and Samsung soundbar… (Now please keep in mind and I’m sure you and everyone who reads this will agree Samsung technical support unfortunately is a joke, they don’t know their own products) I myself happen to understand alot about home theaters and such but this particular scenario I don’t understand lol… Now whenever I’m playing a game my TV uses ST.2084 for Gamma while in game mode…. I’ve set my series X to allow “YCC 4:2:2” but for some reason I do not see a difference with having that option on or off. Either way my Tv still uses ST.2084 for HDR in game mode. I’m assuming that’s the correct gamma because samsung uses ST.2084 when it comes to games/HDR, But why can’t I see a difference with YCC 4:2:2 on or off? I’ve tried switching between 8-bit,10-bit and 12-bit, didn’t make a difference (I figured lol) I’ve done factory resets on all devices, all my settings are on correctly in “ External device manager” and also the Series X Video settings are also correctly set. I have all the correct settings on from the TU7000 and my Series X. It’s very weird because I remember a few times YCC 4:2:2 being ON would make a DIFFERENCE, more Vibrant Colors! However now I can’t seem to figure out why nothings changing. Series X goes to HDMI 1 port on tv then a second HDMI cables goes to the soundbar from the TV’s HDMI 2 (eARC). I’m actually using 2.1 Certified HDMI cables (the certified 2.1 HDMI that comes with the series X I’m using rightnow, I have two of those same cables) I’ve also tried using other 2.1 Certified HDMI cables (Zeskit-MAYA, from Amazon) my TU7000 is also up to date and also the series X and Q700 soundbar. I use Dolby Atmos from the HW-Q700 but that’s hooked up by another HDMI cable. I have my series X plugged straight into the TV first. “PASSTHROUGH” is ON from both my TV and Series X audio settings. I’ve ran HDMI tests and all troubleshooting for both tv and series X. As far as this glitch goes I have no idea why HDR video doesn’t change colors when I enable YCC 4:2:2, because I remember it having more Vibrant colors and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve also used another Series X console and made no difference. Sorry for the long Essay but I figured maybe you ran into this problem or know of it. I’d appreciate it if you could give an insight to this!! lol Thanks for taking the time to make this Video!!
Mine isnt working even that I did this my settings doesn’t reflect a 4k resolution it only gave me 1080 🤷🏻♀️ Its been all day that I have been trying to setup this amd nothing
How did you get the game HDR option? I've had this TV model for about three years now and played around with so much settings and secret menu settings but never seen that one
@@TechSteve I mean In the external device manager option, there's a greyed out section called Game HDR. On mines I just have HGIG and on game mode I'm on game mode settings 3 which gave me extra opinions but I don't have the game HDR option like you do in your video

“Check device power” is stuck on my screen. Can’t get the Xbox screen up. Works on my other tv’s but not the Samsung. Annoying.

Same thing here had to unplug the power to get it to work
I'm having this same issue 😭😭😭 literally just bought the x and my TV keeps saying check device power
@ upgrade your HDMI cord.
Thanks, works great, now when I upgrade to a more costly model Samsung I'll look ya up. Be Safe ‼️
my Xbox series s has 1080 or lower on 120 hz for example fortnite and i have this tv. can i change the setting of this tv to 1080 120?
This model does not support 120hz. Even if the console is telling you it is, the TV bottlenecks it down to 60hz.
Hi Steve, whats actually YCC 4:2:2 do in your setup?
Sorry man this is a old video
Hello, playing xbox series x and PS5 work good? And picture good fast scene? 60fps look good on this TV?
It works well since 95% of the games are 60Hz
Does it work on Samsung - 50Class DU6900 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024 and can it work the set up offline without inernet?
Setting will be similar but you need internet for everything now
what do you mean by bottle neck 60hz on 1080p
was thinking to get this tv to use with my xbox on 1080p 120hz ?
please help
thx
The tv is 4K 60fps. U got no chance of using that at 1080p 120hz
@@kyle_extras thx
@@kyle_extras I have the same tv he can play at 1080p 120fps
You can do that, don’t listen to that idiot

Your xbox might state that it supports 120hz but the TV is definitely just 60hz.
Game mode seems darker then dynamic….any way to fix? Colours don’t seem to pop
Thanks , video perfect❤
