Well, anyone who's cleaned out a parent's belongings, famous or not, you quickly learn that you can't keep 'everything', I'm sure she kept the items that were special/personal to her, along with what is stored & displayed at Kennedy's Presidential museum. Of course, I still think items like these should go to a museum for ALL to see & enjoy, but it also gets to 'what is historical significance' & what is just 'clutter' & duplicates of items you've already seen a million times in other places.
Why didn't Caroline keep some of these things omg

Those pens must have cost a fortune if ONE cost $28,000!
Hey, I'd take the bar of soap
Wow! All of these are awesome artifacts.
I'll take your entire stock
There's probably something I'm missing but How DID John F. Kennedy sign those laws (Civil Rights Act) in 1964 if he was assassinated in 1963?
FallenX100 The guys says that after President Kennedy passed away, the pens were used by Lyndon Johnson
FallenX100 he does say that
because if i do believe Jfk started the civil rights bill but Johnson got it passed into law
He didn't. LBJ, his successor did.
