I close to a ranchette. We are on a .80 acre lot We are very comfortable here. We are close to Santan mall, but yet it feels very rural. Gardening is great, we have the space. Some neighbors have horses, pigs and chickens.
I would say you are living the ranchette life! Your gardening area is great. Isn't it great to have the rural vibe but yet be able to do a quick "run into town"
Ranchettes are my favorite! Definitely hope to move up to that someday after my apartment living time is done.
