We look back and laugh on this. But it also confirms what Phillip Neville admitted; Manchester United usually got favorable calls. Not much to say when Van Nistelrooy fouls and then tries to kick Vieira and then feigns being fouled and begs for a card. Without even being touched.
you cant rly see nistelroy trying to kick vieira at all tho... vieira's intention was crystal clear, and it's only yellow because he doesnt touch, if he touches it could probably be a straight red
Serious question: Why did they all bully Van Nistelrooy after the game? Is there history between Arsenal and Van Nistelrooy? I mean he didn't dive or anything, just jumped back to show that Vieira tried to kick him. Seems the yellow card for Vieira was justified.
The reaction at the end was based around the Arsenal players being upset that Van Nistelrooy in their eyes ‘cheated’ by jumping all over Vieira for a foul only for him to get sent off - Wenger even said that he didn’t like the way RVN would sometimes cheat to get decisions to go for him
VAR wouldnt protect you ever there😂 it was a 2nd yellow that caused the red to be issued not a straight red because the ref thought he made contact. Its a booking everyday if the week lad
@@thomashopley2705 Well, if there were VAR back then United would not have gotten the penalty the year after that ended the unbeaten run, and both Neville Brothers would have been sent off
I'll never know why RVN got so much hate by arsenal and their fans for this. He moved out of the way from a kick and he never ran to the ref to call for a red card. He handled that situation, perfectly well but the players and their fans didn't. One of the reasons I'm glad that this was Arsenals last title
Wow! It's been a long-standing tradition of Arsenal to be combative other than football. Perhaps Rob Holding learned from Vieira. He struck Sonny with his arm, which put Arsenal at risk of being eliminated from the Champions League. I want this tradition to be continued.
Referee’s problem still continuing in primer league 😢 so painful. No body will wish England will get any trophies 🏆. That’s why also they didn’t get yet
One of the most intense 0-0s
Atmospheres were so great before everyone was glued to their smartphones in the stadium.

@@soze2440 idiotic to do it on a yellow tho
Let's just ignore the shitty calls Utd got given against them in the UCL from 00-05
Explain where a “favourable” call is given here please.
@@thomashopley2705 Open your eyes, maybe that'll help
The correct call is free kick to Arsenal but a second yellow for veira for the kick out.
Yes and a yellow card to Van Nistelrooy because it was a foul
When did he get the first yellow?
@@jacksimpson5947 Earlier in the game obviously
It's not a second yellow card, it's a straight red for violent conduct - it's irrelevant that it didn't touch him
its always man united and real madrid. perhaps they pay refs.
Karate Kicks have always been bookings. Stop lying to yourself.
Don’t forget barca. And I’m not only talking about that Chelsea game, They got a lot more rigged games to their sleeves.
Dont forget Varcelona and Porto.

Did u not watch the video mate he jumped right on him
@@svenvdv2880 So what? It was a foul and Vieira got a free kick. Not really a reason to beat the guy up after the game...
@@pacov.8300 Dont matter if they got a free kick. Its the fact that he went in like that and thought he could get away with it. Deserved a humbling

Van Nistelrooy is a bellend.
The day that why the VAR was created.

Didn't make contact, not a booking according to 2024's VAR

Too much testosterone in this game
Funny commentator..he(ruud) doing nothing..😂
Andy Gray was the world's worst commentator. He would have been more neutral if he just admitted who he was supporting.
Free kick Arsenal and red card Vieira. Simple as that
