    You and your wife look so relaxed and happy, I think Europe is a place for you both. America is getting too expensive and it's all depends on the job that you are doing not all jobs pay well in America. For me is a work balanced Life it is very important and we do not get this in America.

      @@peasikumoja6746 I was thinking down the line of certification or licensing. Licensing is different in every state, let alone another country.

      @@KevinTheFoodExplora, it’s no big deal, most degrees are transferred and recognized in many countries. Ensuring that your degree program is accredited by an internationally recognized body is the best thing you can do if you are planning on transferring your degree to another country to work. In addition to this, remember that the particular company you choose to work for can also impact the ease with which you can move to work in another country. In order to facilitate international recognition of degrees. Then you would take the board exam and licensing! You don’t know about international students! Obtaining their degrees and travel back home upon graduation???

    It sounds cheap if you live in NY, I guess, but if you live in Lithuania and gain, let’s say, 800 € a month, you can’t afford to buy a house/department. That’s why Lithuanians are forced to go to work to Spain, Germany, Norway, etc😕 If you gain 2,000 € and your couple too, and you have no kids (or even if you do), and you have to pay 500 € every month for 20 years, then yeah, that’s possible!🙂

    • @airisfinglas2628

      Usual wage level in Lithuania is 1568 euro(1880 USD).In Vilnius 2000 USD.Ans wages grow 10-14 percent every year.So,more then 800 euro...😉

  • @BrianVelez

    That truly was a tall ass ceiling 😱 God forbid I got to change the light bulb in there 🤣 Looks very reasonably priced out honestly! A bit expensive I'd say for the average Lithuanian but good for foreign investors or other Lithuanians to have made their money else where. I don't know! Both of you seemed pretty happy. Seems like the perfect place to settle down 😉

    Awesome homes! Maybe in the city center a 2 bedroom and rent it out as an Airbnb? That way when you visit 2 or 3 times a year you can stay there. Not sure if farther away from the city rents out more than the city center? So down the road you move to Lithuania, what happens to your USA residency/citizenship? Just something to think about. Jobs in Lithuania? Pennsylvania home prices are about the same? There's something called manufactured homes that gives a great bang for your buck here in the USA. See states that have no state income tax like Tennessee. Everyone knows Georgia, Florida, Nevada. Get someplace in a warm climate. Just my long winded 2 cents. Leave with healthcare and infrastructure in Lithuania? Thanks 🙏😊

    ok guys, I struggle to comprehend how you deem as a good opportunity partially completed flats in Uzupis or Paupys in Vilnius at a rate of 4500 to 6000 Eur per square meter in a country with an average monthly gross income of 1800 USD. Housing pricing in Vilnius is simply preposterous and I am sure hard-working Lithuanians that do not tax-evade and earn an honest wage would simply smile bitterly when someone says Vilnius is affordable. All these aside, all the best to you :)

    Be sure to talk to someone who is from outside of that country who bought a home and what are some of the challenges owning a home as a part time home owner of the country. Is there a protection law against squatters? What are the tax penalties being Americans?. So many questions to ask. I know it’s a bargain and luckily Simas knows this country and speak the language. Good luck with your new adventure. I like your thought process.

    It would have been nice to hear about the diversity. Are there many people of colour in the cities? I assume that you will look into that and actually speak to someone of colour about their experiences as well as that of their children in the schools etc.

    • @Binga7686
      @Binga7686 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in Maine and if you do the research you will learn about it’s diversity. Living here even during cold winters Is the best place for us. So Europe has its issues but when you are there whatever country you choose to live in you become that country not like here what you are African American, Asian, GB ,Italian American etc a label no other country aspires to follow.
      How about buying it for a vacation home. A place you can go to early to get away from America.
