God bless you for your obedience...I thank God that he validated my thoughts/opinions concerning the church system based on experiences over the passed few decades...when you earnestly seek God...he will answer your prayers.
I will agree with on dispensation that people like to hang on. I say the same thing, technically 95% of the Bible can be attested as not being written to anyone but people that were living over 2000 years or earlier
Brother I thank you for speaking so much truth i’ve had the same questions and thoughts about the System that we are in, it wasn’t matching what I saw in scripture I hope we get back to what the church was.
I realized this back in 1994. I spent four years studying and searching for the right church... the church Jesus started. After I had exhausted myself and all resources, I realized that what we have been doing for hundreds of years is nothing like the Early Church...the Church Jesus started. We spend thousands or even millions to build beautiful buildings, so we can sit in comfortable seats and enjoy the show prepared for us for that day. Then we have to give funds each week to keep this business going. This takes large sums of money to pay for the high salaries and the operating expenses... nothing like what Jesus taught about.
@@AbigailJael-tm9of I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
So, how / where did you find your people / tribe, as they like to say today? Hebrews 10:24-25: "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching".
Salma --They Must be shut down and it will happen when the Truly Godly Look up and do NOT waste God 's Money he blessed you to earn on the last day FALSE PROPHETS. They care nothing about Jesus sheep only head counts that walk into the door with a $ dollar $ign that is counted NOT CARED ABOUT. Yeshua (JESUS) has real needs of areas and real cause of good soil to plant His Resources in that will grow here on earth and the World to Come. Trie Christians HAVE GOT TO COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE, and be aware of the wolves tares. People know better now because "We Have THE HOLY SPIRIT that lead and guide into ALL Truth , and we will be held accountable . Shalom~
I went to a new church today and it was the best kind if weird I can describe. No announcements, just straight to the message. He spoke for an hour and a half, the whole message being rooted in the Gospel and what Christ did for us. At the end, well, he was done speaking, and that was that. I've never been to a church so simple, yet I learned more than I ever have, because it's not about the programs or the entertainment, the church is Christians gathering together to hear the Word
1 Cor 14:26 What then brothers When you come together EACH ONE has a hymn a lesson a revelation a tongue or an interpretation let all things be done for the building up. Paul explains more on how a gathering of new covenant saints is to gather in chapter 12 as well… Pretty clear the gathering isn’t intended for a single gift to be given but that EACH is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the building up of all.
I stopped going to all churches, years ago, and I am far closer in communion with GO than I have ever been. " I have more insight than all of my teachers, for I meditate on YOUR Statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey YOUR WORD. I have not departed from YOUR WAYS, for YOU YOURSELF have taught me." Psalm 119:99-102
I’ve been demonized by many of my fellow believers for decrying the modern “church”. Thank you for this; for iron sharpens iron and the Lord gives me strength.
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25 NLT www.bible.com/116/heb.10.25.nlt
What dont christians demonize ? There isnt a group on earth you dont hate. Because you hate yourselves. Nothing is darker than christianity. My husband is a shaman and spiritual master and we know it takes 25 to 50 ayahuasca ceremonies for a christian to have any chance for spiritual ascension and everyone else it takes much less.
Michelle Fong, my heart breaks for you. I prayed our Savior will send a like minded friend to you where you can help each other. If you have given your life to Christ, you have the holy Spirit, He's always with you. Love in Christ.
I stopped going to church a couple of years ago and grew closer to God. To be frank and honest I felt I began giving God the real me and I seen Him in a greater compacity in my life and others. I personally don't tell anyone what they should do, my only advice is to follow the Holy Spirit. I personally love small bible studys with other believers.
M C Having the Holy Spirit, you do not need a building God is not only in a building. Honestly he may be hindered in a building because of man made tradition ext. But He should be in your heart. You can fellowship with believers outside of churches. I rarely felt I could truly even talk to people in church service setting anyways. My experience anyways.
When my church started having multiple fast services with less teaching content and then a coffee shop opened up in foyer, it started feeling less like a place where one comes to learn of God and worship him to a place of clicks. I had enough and was very upset with what the body of Christ was calling church services. I read the word for myself and know the BOC is the church not a building.
I am an athiest. Where I live we have so many little churches where CLEARLY no one is making out big. These little churches and the people who work/volunteer are barley bringing in enough to stay afloat. I respect these churches and the people who are a part of them. They give so much to the community first and to themselves last. Mad respect if you are a member of a small church like this.
C Jay the church ain't a building it's the body of Christ . Lol I'm an atheist that's just insane so you believe in evolution like bang and it's here that's stupid and don't make any sense exactly what they want you to believe . The one and only creater is very real I can assure you thought. Religion was created by man.
I honestly believe this is the best teaching message on TH-cam to date. I really believe this is where the body of Christ is headed. Those that hear His call, will come out.
@@kevinmalone3210 Yes I do that at home With family and brothers and sisters in Christ Apostle Paul was incarcerated for Yrs, That's how he wrote most of the New testament the Apostles and Jesus Christ too broke bread in there home's ECT..
God was with Saul as he walked alone to Damascus. That verse is usually misinterpretted to say God is only there when we meet with other believers. Like He hasn't the time for singles.
I am 79 years old and you have spoken every thought I have had for many years about a gathering together as the Lord would have it be. So few speak out and "see" what you have voiced so well. Thank you so much. Those that are open will hear the truth of which you speak.
So you're 79 you say? Hmph - I don't know any 79 yr olds that have an online presence, much less type and spell so well. You sound more like a much younger person. Perhaps a troll?
I found myself becoming frustrated attending church (Pentecostal Christian church), as more and more money was being asked for, thousands and thousands per month. I never got to speak, I never got to hear anyone's story or revelations or learn from anyone other than the main speaker, just this format you speak of. I think meeting in a park and tithing for the poor, sharing what we learn, having gatherings guided by the Holy Spirit, etc, makes far more sense than meeting in an expensive building and tithing for updated lights, etc. It's what I've been desiring for so long. I am looking for 'my church' :(
Erin Janus - As you alluded to, the "churchianity" of today is, at best, superficial, and at worst producing false converts on a mass scale. The answers to our problems are found in Scripture and nowhere else. The sufficiency of Scripture must be held to prevent inventions of man from creeping in. I hope to address many of the individual pillars that hold up the institutional church in more detail in future videos.
Rena Huchingson - It is great to hear that your mother helped people in need rather than contributing to the furthering of an ostentatious institution. That said, please note that the "ordination" of or the sanctioning of women in leadership and teaching roles within the church is also counter biblical. This is not an attack against your mother but rather an elevation of scripture. I realize that this notion is not palatable to the 21st century tongue, but my job is to present truth as it is and not as I wish it to be. Food for thought. I hope you found this video to be some source of encouragement. Stay strong in the Lord.
Servus Christi, Wasn't the ordination and sanctioning of women in leadership and teaching roles within the church biblical countered for Paul would not 'Permit' it ? And who was actually ordained and sanctioned to be leaders and teachers in the church anyway? Is it not God Who anoints & sanctifies? And Who ordains? As it is Jesus Who Appoints Apostles, Prophets and Teachers in His body. The bible showing God to have had Women Prophets as well. But yet do men teach that Jesus would not Appoint a Woman Prophet in His body? For they Teach there are no longer any Apostles & Prophets for His body. Only they are needed as Teachers. Which we see so many 'School Of The Pastors' do teach. Now we know why. As Prophets being 2nd and Teachers being 3rd. A Prophet Of God just may be a Woman. So if they teach there are no Prophets today? Then there's no chance of women being 2nd and them being 3rd in Christ's body. For they want to teach their own doctrines of men. Without Apostles & Prophets to bring the doctrines of Christ for them to teach. So they obey Paul, in following him as he follows Christ. What will you think of all this Servus Christi ?
. . . I cried, on floor, in the middle of my kitchen . . . These are convictions I’ve had for years. They emerged shortly after I began intensely studying scripture on my own during my second year in law school. I knew these things in my heart after revisiting the plain language of Acts, as well as Jesus’s example in the Gospels. And without too much intention I just stopped going to churches. The deviation was significant and apparent in every service I tried to participate in, that I was convinced I had a different copy of the Bible than everyone else!! I continued personal study and time with Him, though, until the right way to go about it came about. I just wasn’t ambitious about it. I didn’t actively try to find a congregation close to the Church in Acts, and over time I became complacent. I was in the middle of eating waffles while watching this video - standing up at the counter. After seeing the part when the prophet confronted Jon Macarthar so boldly, I was seized with emotion. Just like the converts in Acts are described before crying out to be saved , I, too, felt “cut to the heart!” I paused the video with what strength I had left, slowly stepped back from the counter, and melted to my knees in remorse. I was grieved to my core for my complacency and cowardice in the face of an all-might God! How could I have been so nonchalantly offensive to Father who’s been nothing but gracious, compassionate, and merciful to me! I felt like tearing my shirt. I just lie there on my face - crying and repenting. I asked the Lord to forgive us all, praying further for the boldness like that given Peter after Pentecost. I don’t ever right comments on videos, ever. I had to on this one, however, so please forgive the length. We CANNOT overlook this one fact - a fact my experience with this video has reminded me of: there is REAL power in His plain truth given to us in scripture. A real transformative, authentic, and mighty kind power. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Thank you for freeing me from my complacency and getting me back on track through earnest, heart-wrenching repentance! Praying for us all! #MuchLove

You don't have to go to the school of theological teachings in order to learn n teach what the Bible says. God will give you all you need to learn n know. Gather together to worship, praise, and fellowship. WE ARE THE CHURCH! BE THE CHURCH!!
Yes, Charles Haddon Spurgeon said "A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the Church will have clowns entertaining the goats." And remember the goats were the liberals in the Bible. Study history, it has always been liberalism that brought down every empire, reign and civilization with the ideology that there is nothing absolutely wrong or right. Just "do your own thang" et cetera.
The Bible says in the last days, that God's spirit will move across the land, I have seen a growing change where many true born again believers, are being called out of church. The church system is corrupt, and has been turned over to the occult.
@@anonymousguitarist9096 You are right! False teaching everywhere and most people dont even know there is anything "missing" or "wrong". They just dont get it.
Nancy King : The church became corrupt the moment it became linked with secular political powers. Only after then did Christians feel justified in killing one another over political and theological differences. There isn’t likely to be revival in this country because egregious, hubristic, and contentious Christians don’t really want it. They want to be able to crush, despise, and hate their enemies, not only their enemies but those with whom they disagree.
@John Eldred We are being called out of false doctrines and such, and yes, the Bible says we are not to forsake the coming together of believers. The Church is the body of Christ, so it makes no sense for them to say we are being called out of the church.
I’m so glad my church got it right. No pastor is above anyone and we have about 4 that rotate in our congregation of 100. We talk about these “systems” and do away with them. Members come up and share their testimonies regularly and people speak when God puts something on their heart. It’s just easy 💜 and spirit filled with biblical truths. And yes you can interrupt when the Lord gives you a word

I grew up in a Baptist Church, that denied an unsaved neighbor coming in the doors with us because she was wearing jeans!! She was lost and had that impression of the Lord. I got away from the Baptist nightmare, thankfully, and now just have a personal relationship with Jesus and don't attend church anymore. All anyone needs is to open your Bible to find the truth, not sit and listen to someone else's doctrine. I let Jesus teach me, not man!
Dizziemiss Lizzie my pastor keeps it real. He doesn’t care what you were 15 seconds before walking in because Christ makes all things new and it for everyone. Thank the Lord he lead me to a born again church, but still gotta stay in the word because we all have false teachings. God bless you.
The Scriptures do say that men should not dress in women's clothing and vice versa. Look around U and look at the drag queens and kings! God is not a God of confusion! He is Holy and will not be mocked!
Dizziemiss Lizzie, the Holy Spirit led me out of the Baptist Church too sister, and once I left I began truly building a close personal relationship with my Savior & Heavenly Father by letting Yeshua teach me also. I follow Him only, not man. Blessings to you.🤗
We should find a church that preaches the word of God and not doctrines. Ask God to lead you. Someone needs your fellowship and you may be the only person to reach them. God has no aloner in his kingdom God wants his people to love the undesirables and people who need God's love. My prayers are with you. Also remember no matter where you go there is no perfect church. I love Classical music and only hear it around CHRISTMAS time. Bach wrote many choruses for the church I listen to them here on youtube. I still love my pastor because he preaches the word of God. He don't water down the word. Sin is still sin and do means do. Maybe I better read my bible today. God be with you.
Ten years ago God spoke so clear to me " come out from among her" i thought he was meaning the world..then he began to open my eyes in the " church" to the " program" that man conceived for those who want to sleep. I was awake. Now husband and i are part of a home group be it a few people but the line of separation is so clear , those who want to sleep come there and leave , those whose heart is after Christ , the spirit feeds , they grow connected to Him, not to a program
DEBI, DEBI-----The words "come out of her" were spoken to bring an evil spirit out of a woman. How shameful for millions of you to change that to mean come out of the RCC !
This is where I am today also. I grew up the son of a preacher. I started on this journey out of the reilgious system 25 years ago, when I hit rock bottom while "leading" a "church." The "church" had no answers, no one walked with me, and I was on my own. That is when I ran into, what I call, the brick wall of Jesus Christ. I learned then He is the only answer and began the journey of what you laid out in this video. Thank you for laying it out so well. I actually really got a glimpse of my journey when i was 12 years old. I remember going down to my dads study and asking him if I could talk. He said sure. I told him, " Dad you preach REALLY good lessons on what not to do. But how do I NOT do them." He didn't have an answer for me. Looking back, the only thing he knew was how to reinforce his denominational beliefs each Sunday. He had no real answers. I think that is the point with the bigger religious system as a whole and why "Christianity" lost the culture war in this country. The religious system didn't have any real answers. Oh, they would tell you come to church and it will all be better. Oh they might help you suffer through the crisis you were in at the time, but they never answered the core questions or problems.
Good Lord! What Denomination are you? I need to check it out. Unless of course you're Pentecostal or something like that. Those people belong to someone other than God. Not going around there!
melissa deaton wonderful insight. Since the true biblical Sabbath day is Saturday not sun day. The day of worship will become the test for the mark of the beast. Are you Sda? Have you seen Saved to Serve? I highly recommend it
Not my church whatsoever. It's intent is to FEED God's people the Word and to re-enforce the Gospel message to those who have not yet accepted Christ. We also have home fellowships and different studies throughout the week.
I've been a Christian most of my 65 years here on earth. Convinced I was called even from my mother's womb... He knew me then, before I took my first breath. Yet, He did not show up in me until my early teen years. Still, I resisted that call, but bowed the knee to fully giving my life back to Him when I was in my twenties. I was a worship leader for much of my early years. Then traveled and taught in the church system for many more years. But little by little and because God gave me a Berean heart to search the scriptures I did so. And it challenged me deeply on so many levels that I finally left the church system years and years ago. With great difficulty, it has been hard to find similar hearts to come together more perfectly as Paul and the early church prescribed. And alas, even with those I have gathered with in the past twenty years, distance has made it difficult to meet with them. I loved everything you said in this video. My heart was beating simultaneos to your in perfect rhythm. I want for this so much. But because of some little fame God has permitted me to have, it is almost impossible for me to experience this grace the way it has been prescribed in your video and the Bible. I am both an Christian and somewhat known as a Christian teacher. I retired from my own company five years ago, and now live all but alone in a valley far from city life. But a few of the saints have found me and want me to come to Africa to share my gifts with them. Oh, how I wish they understood that this wasn't God's way! That is was far simpler, to meet and share our livelihood, our gifts to one another and encourage one another in the Lord. Everything has changed me. The season of seeming fame, turned into a great desert of troubles that left me wounded, but still very much alive in Christ. But I can't do things the way I used to. It isn't about me anymore, it is all about My Savior! I so loved your heart brother! It was great refreshment to me. For now, all I can do is pray! But I do thank God that I am meeting even if it is through email, telephone, or skyping, with saints who are on this page and enjoying Christianity minus all the attractions that man is throwing into the ring. You blessed me thoroughly! May these messages get out to the saints who are longing to be the SPIRITUAL TEMPLE we are called to be. Thanks again for posting this! Stephen.
Steven Scheffler Yes the best sermons ever were taught in the 'desert.' Well we know God uses people in various situations and denominations and people Christian's inside and out of organised services still all struggle with their own nature and the fear of man which brings a snare. Thanks you for sharing your small testimony it was very encouraging.

“So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.” Acts 14:23
Absolutely. I agree with that. There are no apostles on the earth now and I am always troubled when I see churches with people who call themselves apostle this and that. People like to be praised and carry titles that make them feel important: What could ever make us feel more important than knowing we are a child of the living God & we have been saved by Jesus Christ by faith in Him by His grace. I’m sure God is very grieved by the state of most churches in our world.
Terese McMillan I’m sure there are many churches that are not functioning in the five fold ministries, but you can’t blanket statement “there are no apostles on earth..”
The purpose of elders etc. being appointed at that time was because this was THE FIRST Church being established. It has long been established and there now is no need to use elders. The only thing still existing in THE TRUE ECCLESIA are those who the Holy Spirit have given one of the 5 spiritual offices or FUNCTIONS (not titles to be worn), which are prophet(esses), pastor, evangelist, teacher and apostle. That can be found in Ephesians 4:11. These spiritual functions are for the purpose of like it says in verse 12, to edify the body, for the perfecting of the saints (NOT CHRISTIANS) and for the work of the ministry. And keep in mind that the term "Elder" in the Bible is not a Holy Spirit appointed function or spiritual office, it simply means older people. They expected the older generation to be able to oversee the others, so this was a man appointed function, not a Holy Spirit designated function.
I was talking to lady one day and the topic of mega churches came up. I expressed that I don't like mega churches for many reasons. But, my two main reasons were because I don't feel the pastors have a closeness with their members as they should, and, it seems at that point, it is more of a performance/show instead of actually saving souls. Needless to say, she got upset, pretty much defending them and saying that they show the "number of people being saved." And if I disagreed with her, I was a lost soul...I disagree but I don't consider myself a lost soul. I just don't see the point in a huge church with cameras, and on TV. It feels very rehearsed and misleading. My opinion.
The tele-evangelists are all ordained and have had holy orders done on them and are servants of the Vatican which is The Red Dragon / Lucifer's Temple.
Janice Thorton a mega church is just a congregation that has two thousand or more members. Some churches were so busy doing God’s work that the membership started to grow. You can’t stop that. There is nothing wrong with that. With more people you need more space for those people. The church in acts had 3,000 in it
Janice Thorton, I spent quite a while shopping around for a church until I finally gave up. I've since found a nice little home church, but I still go back to the mega churches occasionally. I don't go for the fellowship for the same reasons you outlined, but when I do strike up a conversation with someone and the topic comes up, I always point out that I'm not a member. I'm just there for the show. Some of these performances are better than the shows in Las Vegas. There's nothing in scripture that says we can't enjoy a good show once in a while, right? As the narrator of the video pointed out, he wasn't addressing the theology so there's nothing wrong with listening to a Christ centered presentation either.
Charmain Williams-Farrar false religions dominate the world. Satan is the God of this world and the father of all lies. False religions spew lies, collect tithings and are extremely rich. False religions however have their days counted. The Bible reassured that. True Christians are but a minority in this world.
The Great Catholic Monarch is coming to sweep aside the Masonic Republics and restore The Holy Church a Ross the world. Peter and Paul will raise up a holy Pope.
THANK YOU! The church system is not what Yeshua had in mind. That's why I do bible study, where everyone gets to contribute and bring up a topic, instead of one or two people lecturing hundreds on what they believe.
thank you for making this video! When I was a young girl we had a wonderful church. Anyone who had a word spoke it, anyone who had a song we sang it, we were a very small group who met in homes and eventually an old, run down building. And we were blessed. Nothing forced or faked. I felt God's presence with that group that I haven't felt since in any congregation I have visited. I graduated high school and left for a couple of years. When I returned it had become programmed and felt wrong. The elders (my grandmother and 2 others) had died or were too sick and younger(my father and the elders' children) more structured types had taken over. I haven't been to church service regularly since but I desire that old, first way. I fear it was so rare that I'll never find it again. Thanks for this video. It helps me feel better about "abandoning" the ritual and being disloyal to the remaining members.
That church died the moment it moved into a building solely for the sake of church services and they're was a need for money. As soon as the congregation got too big for a house they need to split up to a second home. But that ego of building up the numbers always works its way in.

The West in general is slipping financially and in terms of workers rights, standards of living and other similar things, ironically because our societies are worshipping money, and many of the big organised denominations are dealing in big money. We now all chase filthy lucre, and it is time we started to simply seek Jesus first again.
My daughter and son in law, went to a church that had a new location, in a new building, and the second time they were there, one of the deacons came up to her husband, and said to him, your offerings are not what they are supposed to be, I have no idea how he thought he was justified in this, or how he got his figurers, but, this was the last time they darkened that door.

so I'm not the only one who sees this. SMALLhouse groups, unpaid leaders without a vested interest. REAL bible study open discussion sharing of your Faith in every day life oh how I want this in my life. west midlands U.K. HELP
ellie larkin There's nothing wrong with a church family coming together in a building once per week. The sign of an obedient Church family is that they also meet in small groups. I love small groups. And people that don't take part in them really miss out on the move of God. There's something so special about meeting in small groups. God bless you and lead you to all fellowship that honors him. 💕
The Bottom line: Unless your BORN AGAIN OF SPIRIT, you have NO WAY into the Kingdom of Heaven! In these days, good luck finding a Bible Teaching, Spirit Filled Congregation. As a Patrol man years ago I did the LORD's Work, & paid the price for it. My Church was in the Street, & it still is, that is where ever the Spirit leads me. Allow me to Recite a Poem by Mr. Ray Stevens from the 80's: 'Would Jesus wear a Rolex on his Television Show?' Woke up this morning, turned on my TV set. There in living color was something I can't forget. This man was preaching at me, yeah laying on the charm, Askin' me for 20. with 10,000. on his arm. He wore designer clothing and a big smile on his face, Selling me salvation while they sang 'Amazing Grace' Asking me for money when he had all the signs of wealth. I almost wrote a check out, but then I asked myself. Would he wear a pinkie ring? Would he drive a fancy car? Would his wife wear furs and diamonds? Would his dressing room have a star? If he came back tomorrow, there's something I'd like to know. Can you tell me, would Jesus wear a Rolex on his Television show? Would Jesus be Political if he came back to Earth? Have his home in Palm Springs and try to hide his worth? Take money from those poor folks when he comes back again? And admit He's talked to all those preachers who say they've be talking to him? God Bless Everyone, & walk by Faith not by Sight.
Exactly that`s what I always ask myself. I have woken up no more blind but weep for the blind. Or would Jesus` Children and wife wear clEvage , high heels , fake nails, hair , tight fitting clothes and Women wearing tight fitting pants? NO I DON`T THINK SO. PEACE
This guy is right on , it is very hard to find a place in any church because of all the formats and politics . I play music once in a while at church,s and I see many people today making a great deal of money doing a music ministry , I will never charge a dime for any music I do in church . I have come to the place where I think the church is being controlled by the devil through the love of money. If you are being payed by a church for doing music or teaching and you feel good about it your are being fooled by the devil, it all should be a donation .
I also have the same wish but people nowadays couldn't care less about the Bible (I'm talking about "Christians"). They just want a denomination that makes them "feel good".
Yes, the “performance model” with stage and audience has always felt off to me. For introverts like me, home church is comforting because too many people are overwhelming but more importantly home church is biblical. When I visited my brother and his family most mornings we would all pray, read the Bible and share what was laid on our hearts from that passage and worship the Lord in spirit and truth. So much more edifying than feeling anonymous in a sea of people listening to a message and remaining quiet then, leaving with a sense of loneliness. “Church” can be a lonely and that’s wrong. Thank you for this video❤
I have fallen away from "Churchianity" for some time now. It has bothered me because church members (people I knew while attending church) tell me "we are not suppose to do it alone" that is why there are church buildings to attend. How does a building to gather in represent fellowship? Just to be greeted upon entering and told to have a good day when leaving is not my understanding of fellowshipping. And yes a message is preached for 45 min. but it is never about sins, hell, or anything that might alienate a member because they may take offense because they are living in sin. No wouldn't want to preach the truth because if someone is offended then they may loose their tithing from them, which tithing that church's do is not scriptural in the KJV. Yes it is lonely going it alone but at least I am not offending God by attending some church that man has set up under deception and finding out too late that the god you are worshipping is actually the adversary himself.
Deb M About tithing: Jesus Christ was asked by the Pharisees whether they should pay tithes to God or taxes to Caesar (when they asked this, they were seeking to accuse Him). Jesus had them show him a coin and asked whose name is on the coin. The Pharisees said, "Caesar's." Then Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar which is Caesar's, and unto God which is God's." Is tithing biblical? Yes. Are there those in power who misuse the Treasury for their own personal gain? Yes; Judas Iscariot also did this. And people have mistakenly thought that tithing is not biblical. But in reality, it is biblical. There is a big problem with unbelief in the church today. They don't believe in anything. It would be more honest for those individuals to call themselves atheists instead of calling themselves Christians. And you also have many Word of Faith prosperity preachers who are doing a sales pitch that sounds like a get rich quick scheme, but they attach God's name and disguise it as a "faith" message. There is a big problem in the Church today. All ministers, regardless of who they are, are easy targets for accusations to be against them. I am all for exposing false teachers and false prophets. But those who are true ministers of God: Leave them alone and let them do their job as shepherd. But you have to have discernment. Those who are false teachers and false prophets, know who they are and don't listen to them. And warn others, so they are not deceived.
Scripture says that we are to depend on the Heavenly Father to guide us in our studies, not man (Isaiah 28:9). The church system was set up to deceive and keep followers in sin by believing a false gospel. The Laws were never done away with and we should be using the Most Highs name, Yah (Psalms 68:4 KJV). Read Deut 28 KJV to learn who the real Israelites are. Read Gen 10:1-3, Rev 2:9, Rev 3:9 KJV to learn who they fake jews are. Beware of modern day Pharisees who teach hate and false doctrine. True Israel is quietly waking up to be the light of this dark world. Psalms 111:10 KJV Shalom.
faitje love Not to mention that repent involves turning away from your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ to save you from your sins. I know that we're not perfect. At the same time, it's not enough to say a prayer. If someone is genuinely saved, there is evidence that shows. Our salvation is not works-based. At the same time, if we truly love God, we will obey His commandments.
Please explain what you meant by the bible not mentioning "elders" at 15:32. 1 Timothy 3 and 5 talks about Elders in the church. Unless I'm deceived by the new testament, could someone explain what he's talking about?
Why do build big temples or churches? We can praise God with small place. Why can't use that money to donate to poor people, victims of such chaos etc.?
S/OCHAVO I am saying this knowing 99% of you will not believe it but here goes anyway. The Catholic church is the LARGEST charitable organization in the WORLD. It feeds, clothes, houses and nurses more poor than any other organization [ Wikipedia ] and despite the horrible lies told about it every day, it never mentions these facts. It is following HIS command to Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the afflicted. It has soup kitchens and homeless shelters all over the world. Bad church, EH ?
Our church community does just that we are engaged in feeding disadvantaged people, helping others in far away places, providing for the lonely, outreach to the young people, having fun in the right kind of way. Helping local people who have lost their jobs, providing bereavement counselling etc etc. Yes we meet in a church building and we have a Minister who is great and willing to be questioned on what he preaches. We aren't perfect but we love God and each other and help each other when needed.
SILVER WINGS I don't have to watch your video. All I have to do is read the endless, hate-filled, evil, anti Christian curses that are hurled at my beloved church 1000 times a day. [ if they persecuted ME, they will persecute you. ! You will be hated BY ALL because of MY name ! ] Good luck with the hatred !
Yes and in that same verse it says "because you have rejected knowledge..." People lack knowledge because they have rejected it. They don't want truth, they only want what makes them feel good.
People sat under Paul and a pastor is overseer and that is biblical True the church has become a show, but to throw out the church completely is also not biblically accurate. You still can gather in whatever building fits your gathering. With a pastor and a worship team. We should never idolize, but we can revere and follow christ like men. Paul said imitate as I imitate christ. Find a good small church and serve christ.
More fault-finding and lack of grace for other Christians in this video, as usual. SC, take a Dale Carnegie course or something - learn to engage ideas and people more effectively than your slamathons. Hint: You can pick up some good pointers from Leighton Flowers :)
Where does the bible teach that the pastor is the overseer over a congregation of people. Jesus is the overseer and elders provide some spiritual leadership to point people toward Jesus.
“I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.” -Paul the Apostle I don’t think the gifts of the Spirit have ceased, but you shouldn’t worry one bit if you don’t have the gift of tongues or prophecy. Those aren’t the only two.
LoL.. if you or anyone else that you know of have the biblical gift of tongues hop on a plane and go speak Hebrew to the Jews.. tongues are a language not some gibberish SHALAHALLLSHAAAHA BAADADSAALAAA nonsense... That's of Satan
The reason why there is so much confusion is because most professing christians don't understand what 2 Tim 2:15 "KJV "15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.", and so many people put their trust in a pastor then studying the bible for themselves.
Amen and amen! Paul wrote it and few do it. The fake "church" we see today is the result of what happened while Paul lived and wrote:"2 Timothy 1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes." He meant almost all who originally believed his gospel [Galatians et al] had apostatized back to religion/Judaizers etc. which eventually led to the Constantinian Roman Catholic Church and its Protestant daughters.
The 1st century Church in Asia is now the Eastern Orthodox Church. Christ founded one Church with Peter as the head apostle - that Church is now the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church with the pope as the successor of Peter.
Jonathan DeLeon So everywhere the word church is mentioned is the same church or is it talking about a different set of people? Says who that the "Church is now the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church with the pope as the successor of Peter."?
I was wondering why God pulled me out of church and now am getting closer with him thanks for this now I no what's going on amazing how God works thank you .
I always felt weird in a church so it was hard for me to go, So I haven't been part of the church most of my Christian life and I think, for me anyway is because you search the word of God with such a God given hunger, then naturally you delight in His Word because that is GOD, Amen. You are not swayed by corrupt thoughts of others, because you get it all from His word alone, that's all you have, when you are not in church, unless you spend your time listening to teaching through the media then it;s the same thing. However you miss out big time because of the loss of fellowship. We need to gather and not forsake the gathering of us together. So beware I backslid or wandered for a decade, thinking I could live without His word, He woke me up and brought me back full bore into his Word, memorizing as much as I can and speaking the word back to me. Restoring all that was gone because I didn't live in His word. Now I live there and I will seek and find fellowship I pray you do as well and are greatly blessed, Amen!
I agree with you. I have desired a home type small group setting for years. I never felt like I fit in at any Church building I attended. It wasn't because I didn't like the people.....they would invite me to come over or go out to eat......but I'm not into playing silly games and callin it fellowship. I'm not into the "christian" movies. I'm not into the latest trends or fads. I don't hear alot of Biblical truth in the praise and worship music. It's been uplifting and refreshing the last few days of seeing I'm not the only one who doesn't fit into the mold of the modern church. I do NOT think it's a coincidence that many are feeling this way.
me too. I found myself closer to the Lord and more apt to share the Good News. I was having trouble connecting at churches. I left feeling worse and empty. I don't like seeing all these coffee houses pop ping up. its taking over true fellowship and prayer.
hey buddy I've felt this way for a long time since 1997 been in & out of church I've always felt something wasn't right but wanted to ask how did you find a home ministry
I wish I could find a house congregation to worship with. Our churches either speak error or are hung up on feeding us milk over and over with no meat.
You and me, both! I've been to about every church in this valley, and truth, no matter who has it, is not the treasure. That in itself is the basic error. bb
This wretched me. I’ve been talking to my mother lately about the custom to leave right after the service and the unfamiliarity you can face in your own church. I remember reading the descriptions about the early Christians in acts and thinking “Wow, this is NOT how church is today.” Please pray for me. I’m from Germany and I’d love to be in a spirit filled home congregation.
Hallo!
Boo Mae Im with you I have a small meeting every Wednesday and Saturday we start at 10 on both days, we have communion every week and have lunch together ,we don’t have a pastor but we are under the leadership of Christ and the teachings are shared and spirit lead. it is an exciting time for us as we don’t finish until we finish 2.30/3.00 it’s amazing and everyone leads and we take the time to answer questions and discuss what has been taught by whom ever has bought the message .The Word says where two or three are gathered together He Jesus is in the midst of them which is very comforting as at this time there is only 3of us and sadly to say one of the sisters has said she has learnt more about relationship with Jesus than 20years in a Pentecostal Church ,which is very sad really as I have a heart for the Churches and their teachings ,but do not know why they don’t hear what the Spirit is saying to the church and they do need to repent. Take care and blessings to you.
@@oboostrauss8760 Blessings to you sister in Christ, from Croatia! My wife and I are also God's newborns, and are departed in every way from Catholic church, and were baptized in Jesus name, and are new creatures. God bless... but we "stumbled" across pastor, also born again that is a member of Pentecostal church, people there are reading from the Scriptures, mostly are driven by Holy Ghost, and for now everything looks good. What are your thoughts on Pentecostal church in general? Are all corrupted, or are just on the way to become corrupted, or are there some, so to say "denominations" that teaches sound doctrine? Blessings to you and your family in the holy name of Yeshua Hamashiach.
Hrvoje Ban Blessings to you my brother and sister . There is a lot of compromise in the Pentecostal Churches which is very sad but I pray for them . In my group , I suggest that each of us work out our own salvation with with fear and trembling KJV Phillipians 2:12 TEACHER are judged more harshly James 3:1 We must Rightly divide the word of truth 2Timothiy 2:15 As it is written in John 16:13 •••• The Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth and this is how I walk my walk. Not perfection of course but we must use wisdom and never follow a man only the God Man Jesus Himself All Christians should pray for discernment and test the spirits if the teachings don’t line up with the word ,you are free to challenge them with your Pastor. As we can judge the church but not unbelievers but the church won’t always listen so there is a lot of pride also in the church. Your so blessed to know Jesus as your saviour Im also blessed knowing that. May the Lord bless and keep you may His face always shine on you and give you peace Shalom
Seriously? This? THIS is literally the best videos you’ve ever seen? I feel sorry for you. This video is a joke. Not ALL churches are like what he’s speaking of. 🙄
Totally agree ... We who have this longing of a True believers congregation/assembly /fellowship, are scattered across the globe ! The Holy Spirit has brought us together via TH-cam channel like yours, brother in Christ, to encourage us to stand firm in our faith in Christ Jesus Who is our Blessed Hope ! Thank you for collecting articles and valuable information, and compiling them to share on TH-cam ...you are a channel of God's blessings unto His Beloved children 😄
I am endlessly confused, the Bible says to obey the Sabbath yet church is on Sunday. Scripture says that women should or should not preach? I attend a Methodist church where a woman pastors. I want so badly to feel like I am being obedient to my Father. I have so many questions. It seems people change what the Bible commands...
ROMANS 14 1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Elizabeth Esposito hello. I would like to help you find the answers you are looking for in the bible. I will share with you why the Sabbath old testament law and how we live under the new testament. You will see examples of Christians worshipping on the first day of the week while Jews kept the sabbath. We will discover why women are not allowed to have authority over men in the assembly. Your honest heart and diligence will lead you to the answers according to God's word. th-cam.com/video/rpUPZj0vFxo/w-d-xo.html
This post is in response to comments I've seen regarding 1 Corinthians 14:26. Some have said that this is a question Paul is asking the Corinthians, because he is baffled at their actions. The claim is that he is effectively saying, "how could it be that everyone is participating??" Paul is not questioning them in this manner, but rather prescribing the order for them. The term "How is it then..?" Can rightly be rendered , "What then, brethren, is [the right course]? (Amplified), or, "What then, brothers?(ESV), or "What then shall we say, brothers and sisters?" (NIV), or, "Well then, my brothers, whenever you meet let everyone be ready to contribute a psalm, a piece of teaching, a spiritual truth, or a “tongue” with an interpreter." (JB Phillips). The problem for some, is that they are reading a bible outside of their reading level. The term, "how is it then..?" in the KJV and NKJV simply means "what then is the conclusion?" Or "What ought to be?" The grammar of the greek text plainly says this, and is only cemented with verse 31. Paul expected several gifts to be exercised in the way of prophecy, teaching, tongues, and interpreting. Paul only previously told them that it was to be orderly and not a chaotic free-for-all. His PRESCRIPTION squarely contradicts the single "pastor" led, one-man-sermon-show we have today. You will not find a description much less a prescription of this anywhere in scripture concerning the gathering of the saints together. Anyone who is saying 1 Corinthians 14:26 is anything other than a prescription, or a command, is either ignorant of basic grammar, reading outside of their ability, or a deceiver. Some will toss logic to the wind in order to salvage their precious system. They will defend it at the expense of sound reason and right division. For those of you who were innocently taught this, I implore you to study 1 Corinthians 14 for just 15min. The Jamieson, Fausset, Brown commentary note on 1 Corinthians 14:26 reads thus: "26. How is it then?--rather, "What then is the true rule to be observed as to the use of gifts?" Compare 1 Corinthians 14:15 , where the same Greek occurs." For the record 1 Corinthians 14:15 reads, "15 What am I to do?" This is the same greek spoken of. Therefore, 1 corinthians 14:26 is most certainly a prescription of what ought to be done, not a confounded reprimand. I strongly urge that nobody presume to speak or teach authoritatively about something that they haven't thoroughly studied. It is irresponsible at best, and indicative of the juvenile desire to interject for the sake of garnering attention.
The discussion needs to be adjusted to take into consideration that the signs and gifts of the receding Judaic/kingdom economy are transitioning progressively into a gospel that doesn't include such signs and wonders, e.g., tongues, healings, miracles etc. Christ is revealing the dispensation of grace to Paul progressively.
Hello Servus Christi (not sure if that is your name). God bless you for your brave post, please note there are many of us scattered across the UK who are proclaiming the same, but it is hard to persuade most church goers to leave the safety of the System. We must be careful though as there are anointed teachers, preachers, prophets and those gifted in music who build up Jesus' Church (The Body of Christ). Those of us who have come out of traditional church meetings use terms as brothers and sister and you are right when we gather it is as an extended family. Only in these smaller extended groups can we fulfill what the scriptures say of how we go about our Christian Life. We must Love one Another and lay our lives down for each other, this shows that the Love of God, our Love for Jesus is in us and we fully know what it means to be saved by Grace. How can we love one another when we spend 2 hours on a Sunday morning simply singing, listening and watching. We need to invest of our brothers & sisters lives by knowing what they are doing and praying into their situation and using scripture to guide us. The Holy Spirit dwells in us to leads us to where he wants us to be. Jesus showed us how to do it, he spent time with people, in their homes, in their places of work, in their community areas and places of religion. He ate with people, he even went to weddings, funerals, christenings (21st century alternative) and was himself. The Holy Spirit, if you recognise His voice may say - "go here" or "wait there" and at that moment you are obeying the Lord. Surely this is better that simply attending a meeting because it is the thing to do or you have always done. A few months ago, on a Sunday I believed I needed to go in to work (I run my own business). Once over I would have felt so guilty. I did go and strangely one of our staff turned up, out of the blue. Both surprised I asked if everything was OK and it wasn't, His wife had become seriously ill and he was collecting his car. In that moment I took the opportunity to preach Gods Word and pray. The outcome wasn't healing but the Gospel being preached and my staff member and wife discussing more as the weeks went on. I know it may seem a simply story but what good would I have been if I had simply gone to sit in a building to hear someone preach to me what I already know. Bless you brother and hope those reading this will ask the Lord to free them from the System and ask Him to show those who truly Love Him. Jesus said ' in John Ch13 verse 34 'A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another'. Amen
Jonny Rook A fine display of God's sovereignty. That's great. I do not believe we are to forsake the assembling of the saints together, but I do, however, believe that we ought to forsake anything and everything that is merely the result of tradition. We must abide in the Word, and veer not to the right or to the left. He has blessed us with His direction. The church is the bride of Jesus and we ought to treat His bride with the utmost care. Thank you for the comment. God Bless You.
Well I must say that I lived abroad for 20 years without going to a church, I would run into other believers and would see them through my work or social gatherings. I can say that we did not assemble because of the fact of traditions. Because I was in other countries, I suppose that I felt uncomfortable in trying to find a church, all in different languages. The lack of fellowship as you speak, in being able to share in the gifts, encourage one another etc...I was in a coma for three days and no one knew about it. (being that my family was all stateside) It was horrid. I returned stateside and decided to find a church to gain in fellowship. Yes, it is nice and I have also joined home fellowship groups. Yet, even in the groups there is strict structure, to ensure we finish on time so people can go about their business. In this, I noticed that many times the spirit was quenched and not those who felt inspired to share in a word, or teach could...because of the time restraints. The mega churches scare me, the money that is spent on buildings or parking lots makes me sad because of the place where they chose to spend their money..., instead of spending it on the very people in their church or neighborhoods who are fighting for their very lives or those who are hungry, or has a broken down car or cannot find a sustainable job, or a reasonable place to live. I like what you say, but something like this is more than difficult to find. At least for newcomers in an area without family or friends. It is still "lonely" being a church member, because of the reasons stated above. America is quite different than the places that I lived where people stop by, include you in (for Shabbat, making sure that one was not alone...Jewish/Israel), invite you for events no matter the sex, marital status or age. America, I have found is a very isolating and lonely place. Maybe it is the church in America a reflection of our society that you are speaking about? Just a thought.
In the tiny church that my wife and I attend, we once had rickety metal chairs for people to set in. We now have benches for them. We used to have no platform but then when someone would speak, not all could hear them. We have a platform now and all are encouraged to use it (not just pastors and/or other leaders). When Jesus spoke in a synagogue he went to the front of the room so as to speak to the 'congregation.' When He spoke and thousands were saved, He did so from the sides of mountains and out in a boat where people could see and hear Him. My church has no place to congregate to have snacks before or after--oh, we do make coffee to encourage some to stay after and socialize and talk about their lives and read scripture and pray for one another. I see nothing wrong with this either. We do not take offering at our church and we don't ask for anything although people do bring money to the church to be spent on certain things--we have a food bank, the building and grounds have been paid off and we owe nobody, the electricity and heat stay turned on when we congregate and this gets paid too. We have Sunday School together (not in separate age groups) and in this meeting any and all speak whenever they feel they need to--it is encouraged. I first came to this church because we were invited--they came to me, not I to them. We also came because we had no food in our house--they fed us from their food bank and did not make us feel like lowlife's. When I was in the hospital for almost a month, the Pastor came to see me (many miles away) and asked that my wife call him for ANYTHING at ANY TIME (do you know how it felt to know that someone was willing to see to my wife's welfare when I could not be there for her)? I believe that the Scriptures point out that WE are the church--that the church is IN US. Were their no concern for the structure of the church / it's leadership, I don't believe that Timothy (and others) would have paid attention to one word that the Apostle Paul had to say to him. Peter was also certain to tell the 'congregation' of thousands who were complaining that THEY should choose seven men (of their own) who they would wish to have lead them--that is, he did not choose to take that opportunity to lord over them, rather, they did choose for themselves who they would submit to. I'm just tired of church-bashing and Christianity-bashing; yes, we were told that this day would come, but it doesn't make it easier for me to accept. There is so much squabbling going on between so-called Christians; seems these are not in the least, concerned about the Kingdom and bringing the lost to Jesus Christ. I think they just want to hear themselves and the Scriptures go against their own way of thinking (which we know also was said to come). I'm not happy about some things (including the Mega-Church), but I trust that God will take care of things. All I can do is continue to worship God, to pray, to teach the Gospel to others and love them, and be open to the direction of the Holy Spirit. How I choose to do this (inside a church or in a home or on the grass outside or in a boat or on a mountain side), is of no concern to me. Only that I follow the Will of God. I wish that God sees fit to speak to all of us tonight--wherever we are.
Northwoods Hermit--- Amen and God Bless you and yours. I agree with all that you wrote. Wish I could find a church like that here where I live but have not. You are Blessed.
I am looking for a church to fellowship with. I have lost all my “church” friends when I quite going to church. I met with a couple of them and explained my concerns about the “church”, and they quit speaking to me. They felt I was drifting away and following a false god. Even when I presented biblically sound scripture confirming my concerns, and how our “church” was not biblically sound. I feel very alone at times, as I cannot find anyone who, not just, reads the Bible, but lives the Bible. Even friends I have had for years are slowly diminishing from my life.
u're in good company. I'm Looking For Believers who C What I C In my Studying Of The Bible, and everywhere u go, they believe what their minister believes over All Scripture, and I'm tired of it
Rachael For Jesus said if they hate you, they hated me first. I know how you feel...Just pray and wait on God and he will send the right believers in your life
I hope God leads you to a godly and scripturally sound church, but remember the video graphic and the notable quotable caption, "It is better to walk alone then to follow the crowd in the wrong direction." That's where I am now. Parsons Carlson.
This is absolutely profound and I can identify with this video on all points. My eyes have been opened to so many things others are blind to. I thought I was imagining or overthinking. One day in prayer the Lord spoke to my heart on the very things you are speaking about. Our job is to get out into the world, the street corners and reach out to people. The laborers are all indoors in cool air conditioned buildings while the harvest suffers. Thank you for this video.
Why go to church when you see nothing happening among it's people and no one is seeing healing, deliverance and everyone seems so unhappy? I believe that until you yourself read the scriptures for yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you by sharing the gospel with your neighbour, etc. Going to church once a week does not make you a Christian and if your works are dead then you have nothing in you to even reflect who Christ is? Until you have been born-again and see yourself transformed and doing what the Lord has spoken of then I encourage all to seek the Kingdom of God first and not a church that is dead and void of God's gifts.
LovNJoy Peace I totally agree. I left two large churches because there was too much cliche going on and the pastors did more traveling than being at church. Right now I have church with 20 or less people at a school gym. And Ive learned more of the Bible and have learned how to build my own personal relationship with God. I'm so careful of all the church drama. I kinda stay in my own lane because sometimes people in the church are just as messy and full of drama like anybody. I'm just very guarded.
If many of the people are seeking and searching for God these places, are we to let them be lost because we are not in their midst, humbling holding our lamp high to help the sheep that Christ called, find Him? Christ spoke to, healed and went into dine with those that the people of God would not have ever considered doing so before He came. We can be a light to the few we may encounter and pray all the while for His Spirit to be revived there and awaken many going down the wrong path. If we follow Jesus, then we can't just hide away in our safe place and let them follow the dead. We love all of them in God's love that we have to diligently seek rather than our limited understanding of loving. We are directed by Jesus to meet, David showed us how to worship and if we will just let God guide us to be the Shepard's that we have been commanded/commissioned to be, many of those desiring Him will be loved into His truth because we let Him use us there. He will bring to us those that have an ear to hear, that we might have otherwise discarded and we would have let be led astray. This is compassion, in part of seeking the Kingdom of God.
Ana, Some would say, go as your heart directs you but beware..."the heart is deceitful above all things" Jeremiah 17:9 I also felt God called me away from the church...felt great going for walk in nature on Sundays. Praying trying to talk to God (no remorse or guilt) no church and no worries. But slowly I began to struggle without that connection to other believers....Not saying your wrong...just saying be careful
Song i wrote(to tune of Little Boxes) Thousand steeples on the hillside, Deceive God's children just to come inside Where they line them up in pews, And have them stare "in Jesus Name" At the preachers, priests, and pastors They've turned Christ's body into a disaster! Cause they've robbed them of their birthright And they've made the lion tame. They've been lied to 'bout His Kingdom Cause Jesus resides right inside of 'em! New creations! Pure and holy No condemnation, guilt or blame. Be ye Baptist or Methodist, Charismatic or Presbyterian You're just slightly reformed Catholics And you sit there just the same! Just be sisters and be brothers, you'll be known for loving others. Not your doctrines or your buildings, worship services, "glad you came!" A thousand steeples all around us do Christ's body a great disservice. They separate us from one another And fill us full of fear and shame. A thousand christians in the neighborhood Freed from stubble, freed from hay and wood Have more impact on the kingdom Than all the steeples ever could. The Christian life is really simple When you realize YOU"RE GOD's TEMPLE!! You're now free to tell the story... "It's Christ in US, the hope of glory" A cup of water to an orphan. "In the Bible, we see that the local (or visible) church is nothing more than a gathering of professing believers. In Paul’s letters, the word church is used in two different ways. There are many examples of the word church being used to simply refer to a group of professing believers who meet together on a regular basis (1 Corinthians 16:9; 2 Corinthians 8:1; 11:28). We see Paul’s concern, in his letters, for the individual churches in various cities along his missionary journey. But he also refers to a church that is invisible-a spiritual entity that has close fellowship with Christ, as close as a bride to her husband (Ephesians 5:25, 32), and of which He is the spiritual head (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 3:21). This church is made up of an unnamed, unspecified group of individuals (Philippians 3:6;1Timothy 3:5) that have Christ in common."
Historically and etymologically, this is not correct. If you read the New Testament you will find that in the Gospels Jesus often went to "the synagogue" to participate on the Sabbath. The word "synagogue" means essentially the same thing as ecclesia--namely, a "gathering." Hence, the synagogue was BOTH the gathering place and the gathered people of God. Therefore, the Ecclesia (i.e. church) referred to both the gathered people of God and the sacred space in which they consistently gathered. It is illiterate to claim that ecclesia only refers to the people of God gathered in worship. If so, than the synagogues where Jesus taught were not synagogues, which is absurd.
Jesus said "Go forth and make disciples and teach them all I have commanded you..." - nowadays people are so happy to fellowship with each other (Christians in church) and forgets about the lost world out there...Jesus did not say stay in the church/synagogue and wait for the unbelievers to come in...NO He said go OUT into the world...!!! Why have Christians become so blind?
You are helping me wake up. I cried a little at this because I am fell for the system even though I felt something off about it. I must be true to God.
I watched some of it. Mixed feelings. These videos often blanket demonize subjects. While I wholeheartedly agree that there are many churches out there who are either lost or get sucked into the business side of keeping a church gathering in the physical location bigger than a person's home or use a church platform to mix law and grace or countless other misleading for His sheep, I don't think that makes all or most churches corrupt and bad. The thought I leave with people in this subject is that many churches started in homes except Catholic churches I'm sure. Eventually the home gathering caught wind with people in that community and they eventually couldn't fit in their home anymore. Therefore those leading that home congregation were fasting and praying on how to resolve the limited space issue. This is when church buildings came into play. We are at the mercy of dealing with having to pay money in order to make that work. Ponder these scriptures: Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." Romans 13:1 "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those which exist are established by God." Temple/church congregation leaders are established in the Bible in both the old and new Testaments. It's a matter of the heart of these leaders and people running these congregations that is the true issue. That is why Jesus dispised the leaders aka Pharisees priests scribes Etc, their heart was the issue not the temple itself. We are in a world where we have to pay money for land for buildings and there's no way to get around that unless you hold it in your home. And if you don't have enough room if your congregation grows too big you have to take next steps by the leading of the Lord. Straight from scripture it says what to do with tithes by bringing it to your dedicated place of worship. “You must set aside a tithe of your crops-one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year. Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship-the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored-and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the Lord your God. “Now when the Lord your God blesses you with a good harvest, the place of worship he chooses for his name to be honored might be too far for you to bring the tithe. If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds, put the money in a pouch, and go to the place the Lord your God has chosen. When you arrive, you may use the money to buy any kind of food you want-cattle, sheep, goats, wine, or other alcoholic drink. Then feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and celebrate with your household. And do not neglect the Levites in your town, for they will receive no allotment of land among you. “At the end of every third year, bring the entire tithe of that year’s harvest and store it in the nearest town. Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work. Deuteronomy 14:22-29 NLT bible.com/bible/116/deu.14.22-29.NLT As well as enjoy and feast...have a good time. We try to make church so religious that it turns into a place of heaviness rather that of His abundant grace, peace, joy, mercy and forgiveness. Pastors are often doing the best they can and if people have a gift of music...let them sing it how they wish. We as the sheep pray for discernment to know when the leaders and congregation are turning the church into a den of thieves or a wolf in sheep's clothing. Just like anything imperfect humans try to do, whether it's one end of the spectrum or the other, either it's too much entertainment or it's not enough. Where is the balance? Worship doesn't have to be small scaled in order to fit the religious mindset. If Christians enjoy worshiping the Lord in different ways and those different ways keep them in relationship with the Lord, how is that bad? We are not a planet of the apes here, we are all very uniquely gifted to reach God's unique people. Different people are reached in different ways. Jesus used different figures of speech to reach different people or groups of people. It's no different today. And church leaders and congregations were absolutely in the Bible. Read this: www.gotquestions.org/church-government.html We must pray for our pastors because it's a stressful job in the Kingdom of God here on earth. They are under constant scruinity, have to pay bills which is why they rely on tithes. Furthermore we must follow the leading of Christ on where we have fellowship and tithe. How our children will be best reached along with parental teaching. Yes, the apostles had church hidden in their homes. They had no other choice. Either they did it like this or they ran the risk of being killed imprisoned etc at the hands of government. God bless you all in the mighty name of Christ!
I do have a question for everyone though, and that is what happens if a gathering of believers outgrows the current location? What do they do. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything. I just want a straight answer, and not a ""read the Bible" answer. If it's in the Bible point me to it please
I was wondering the same thing. It seems like this comment section is full of people criticizing the logistics, but not one person offers a Biblical, logical alternative.
Why do so many so called Bible believing Christians have trouble receiving this? I have shared this teaching with many and most react as if I am now on the lunatic fringe!
TH-cam has failed to notify me of your reply! Thank you for your reply, I do agree with all of the verses you have given. I have often thought this is a matter of God's timing. As well as this human nature doesn't change, and we are told the people do not listen to the prophets. I am not necessarily calling myself a prophet, but the words of God in 1 Sam 8:7 often go through my mind to reassure me, "for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them." 1 Sam 8:7. Rom 15:13
My husband and i both agree with the teaching, some think we are nuts for it as well. Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in Jesus name, There He will be in the midst.
Wow! Just Wow! I am so grateful for you brother! I have been thinking and saying this for years! I have felt this in my spirit and heart for about 7 years now. But my husband and I had deemed, until now, that we were completely alone in this, I know that sounds silly but I’m being completely honest. Every time I went to church, and we have been to several in various states, I felt like I was going to a concert and classroom teaching for 1-2 hours and then going home. And I started to think, what is the point of going at all? To sit and listen to some guy talk week after week about the same scriptures every other Pastor talks about with no new revelations to a “classroom” full of “students” that never graduate? Why is there no progress? Why are we, as the body and church, always broken in spirit and pocketbook and we never reach a place of breakthrough, maturity, and discipleship? And why are pastors rich and well fed while many in the “church” are starving? And even worse, now as a church we are welcoming all sinners and condoning people and brethren to stay sinners, for the sake of “love” and “acceptance”. What kind of “love” is this that encourages a degenerative spiritual state and twists the gospel to keep members happy and paying? This is not the righteousness of Christ! This is sick and disturbing! We became fed up with this BUT in a way, out of guilt of not being a part of a congregation, we still attended “church (the building)” along with all the other anti-social robot Christians (I say this in love). It wasn’t until about a month ago that we finally had enough, and Christ put it on our hearts to stop this nonsense and look for or even start a house church. And although met with much opposition, we will stand firm in this. You gave me confirmation that I wasn’t just losing it, or being too critical, or maybe even judgmental, as many have told us. I have been torn about this for years and I just knew that Jesus was revealing this to us even if NO ONE else agreed! I appreciate you soooooo much! I don’t even know how to express it. Where are these people that think like you and have had this revelation? I felt they were non-existent! Where can we meet more people like this? We are in Texas lol. You have given us new hope. The Holy Sprit is speaking through you my brother! I speak blessings over your life! Thank you for sharing your revelations and wisdom with BOLDNESS! You have our infinite gratitude! We have subscribed to your channel. Peace and Grace to you Brother!

It's the same in the UK, but less so. We don't really have the American system which seems to have grandstanding pastors and mega churches and big money accruing to a few individuals, but we have an organised church that is far more about money, social status and the 'better sort' of people. controversialchristianityandfaith.blogspot.com/2018/08/christianity-is-not-middle-class.html
Me and my wife had been praying and seeking God in this matter for some years... the Lord in His mercy directed our steps to the Lord's Recovery. You might heard or not about it before. It started up in China at the beginning of the last century through brother Watchman Nee and continued by Witness Lee. I recommend you read some of the literature or listen to their radio www.lsmradio.com/... it could be the answer to your prayer. Just sayin... God bless you!
Oh dear. I came out of the Catholic system and found salvation in Christ. I went to enough Latin speaking ritual services to last a lifetime. Sorry. That's my experience.
The problems you address in this video are some of the main reasons the home-church movement is growing greatly. People want to participate in church meetings, and interact with their fellow believers, not just be spectators watching a show.
Thanks for provoking me to think and seek after the Lord for guidance, it is not easy to find a small group of people where you feel you are part of, like a family, I am thankful to the Lord I am part of one, but I do know many christians who long desperatedly for such a place of fellowship and cant find it, because some churches are focused on numbers and finances
It's a shame that there are so few real Churches out there. It's not that there aren't sincere people who love the Lord in these "business model" Churches. There are, and many of them seem to get by okay. Perhaps they go out of their way to establish relationships with other Christians and have fellowship. But, it's a shame that the Church so long ago seems to have forgotten the purpose of the Church. I've seen worldly "support groups" that function more like a real Church than most "Churches" do. There are a ton of scriptures that tell us what a real Church should be, but most congregations and preachers just seem to ignore most of them. If all we do is have an hour or two of sermons every week, we've never really experienced what God intended the Church to be. There should be fellowship meetings available every day of the week (Hebrews 3:13), and you don't need a "professional" Christian to be there. Most theology school graduates, while they may be intelligent and knowledgeable about some things, don't seem to get what a Church is supposed to be at all. God will send them the people He wants them to minister to, but many of them are too busy working on their "business model" to pay any attention to what the Holy Spirit is doing around them and join Him in His work. It's His work, not ours!
I AM AM SO HAPPY TO FIND MY FAMILY WITH THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A PURE AND HONEST PEOPLE. THEY LIVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE. I LIKE FINDING BIBLE TRUTHS.
I've been shown the back door so to speak with two SBC church's. I actually spoke up in my youth during a service, and the pastor quickly made a mockery of me in front of the congregations. This video is a welcome breath of truth. Thank you.
This must be an old video simply because by now, we need to question the theological soundness of churches today. It started with theatrics but now they have changed the Gospel to accommodate and please the masses.
It is more than theological soundness, it is also the walking out of it. He is not saying doctrine is not important. His intro speaks about the "False "Church System" Deception and the "systematized business that "church" has become". That's his emphasis on this video. He's shaking us awake to something we're all so used to and seen so much we don't even recognize what we're seeing. I was in a very small church that had, for what I knew at the time, very sound doctrine. God blessed the word to me each Sunday. The people seemed friendly to me, I enjoyed being around them at potlucks after service and occasionally at someone's house. God used the time there to stabilize me as He'd woken me to the Apostasy after calling me out of my old church. To make the story short. They were only the church at church, on Sunday and Wednesday. No love shown to the sick or old and feeble. Soon, the Pastor was heading into Contemplative prayer and I came to see the strong vein of Witchcraft underlying the congregation. I tried to talk with them, but no one wanted to hear. They weren't being the church, building or no building. They were getting together for a social program that pleased them and bringing their occultic practices in with them. They were still maintaining the systematized church as business model but fell apart. They regrouped under the same model but no longer exist as a church because they lost their first love.
@@humptydumpty5921 in time, it will be most if not all churches...its spreading like wild fire....even the Pentecostal churches - which were known for strong rules and very conservative as being affected. A while back they had a worship competition with rewards for the best worship team. Now that was ridiculous. But it think they realized the error and stopped it after the event. Times has changed and even the practice of women pastors is rampant...Each day and year, this generation is learning to interpret scripture based on their present time and making large adjustments thinking it has to make changes due to cultural differences. CRAYZNESS
Tejano37 Your words are my feelings exactly!! I was Pentecostal .... this video is what I needed to see. Wondering tho....worshipping Jesus? Is this a direct violation of the commandments, particularly “Thou shalt have no other god’s before me ?” I’m not even sure how to pray anymore.😢. I just want to serve the Creator, The Most High, who I know as “God”, thru the church upbringing. I’m thankful for other’s who are awake. I wish there was a support group or something.
Hope Ful I know exactly what you mean. I had those same feelings as I grew up. My theological beliefs and the things I learned to be truth we’re quickly changing and realizing it was no truth what I learned. I looked to those family members that where strong in the church but found no support or understanding. I just read the whole Bible for myself and questioned every theological belief I learned. I made sure that what I believe is based on what I found the Bible to say and not on what someone else said. Now, everything I hear I research and see what the Bible says and decided what to believe or not. I don’t believe in women pastors, I don’t believe in using worship to reach the lost as an out reach. Worship is for believers not an outreach. To reach the lost, simply preach the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. This music evangelism has lead to lavish theatrical performance that has become a social center and circus. I don’t believe in tithing nor in the order of church services with the pastor on an alter above the person..pastors were called to serve not be served.
So what is the biblical strategy for individuals interested in correcting the modern day church? What is the solution for us if we cant find a local church or local group of Christians outside of the modern church?
There were times when I went to church, I felt it was just a show, and not real. I might say, Pretentious. I am nobody of course, it just didn't seem real.
I can identify with all of the comments below... they sing, come just as you are, but they eventually reject you because your not married, your too poor, you don't dress right, or they simply don't want to respect you as a pastor... rejection is not of God! the list goes on and on... I've come to the conclusion that I would rather be alone and be right with God than to be in a fake congregation that that the Holy Spirit has obviously left! thank u for your vid.
2 young I've been homeless for a while due up circumstances outside my control. I used to think I'd get help from a church. I tried for fifteen years and they aren't set up to help anyone genuinely. They've always given me the cold shoulder for not being in their social classes and have condemned me for even needing help. I'm still homeless, now in Philadelphia. If you have any ideas I'm happy to hear them.
I'm there with you. Even in house churches, people just don't know what they are doing (many times) or don't care to 'do church' by the biblical model. Been alone for 15 years (longer, but I start with the start of my hard times in 2003). God bless you and lead you soon to godly men and women who will come alongside you and encourage you.
] Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
unspotted from the world can mean unspotted from the aggressive mean nature competitive spirit to 'progress' to be successful to step on everyone to push heads down into the soil to slay anyone wounded in the battle which is what some groups are doing slaying the sheep who are hurt or wanting more of Jesus to cling to Him in a crazy world or magnifying themselves higher to appear mighty and powerful to crush the ordinary ones .These things are in the evil family of ungodliness and darkness of glorifying the already power hungry . Each of the words align with scripture as to the MEEK that are persecuted by the Pharisees we have today.
Amen.....I grew up as a Fatherless boy since I was 7. And My Mother has been a Widow for the last 42 years and she still loves Jesus. We never had much of special care and concerns from the Pastors we knew. It is solely the grace of God my Mother and I was able to live. And of course we were not rich and I still am not either. But I love God who is truly my Parents and Father. If the pastors truly read and understood one of those red letter words that Jesus Himself spoke, there would be a rude of awakening in the christian circle.
20:58 Remember the Sabbath day (Saturday) to keep it set apart... Sunday is not God's chosen day for the purpose of weekly congregation. Scripture teaches it is Saturday, the 7th day of the week (Gen.2, Ex16, Ex20, Lev23)

Well the old testament speaks of the first church which was in the wilderness with Moses and that was a huge multitude, and that was at least a million souls at best. There's nothing wrong with a church as long as you feed the flock as Jesus says. What's wrong with churches today no one is hardly being fed spiritual food. Everything is okay with God and he loves everyone no matter what you do is always forgiving and which he is .....but no one talks of sin and what you need to know to have a true relationship with God and what is required. The pastors feed the flock base on what the flock wants to hear smooth things nothing harsh just talk about how much money I can have.
May I ask when was there a church in the Old Testament? what scripture is that,?because the church began in the New Testament after the death of Jesus. thank you!
THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE AREOUND THE WORLD WORK ON SATURDAY ! WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE, FOR GOODNESS SAKE ? Love God and your neighbour, pray for guidance and obey the 10 commandments.
I know you mentioned that the Bible doesn’t speak of pastors. But I’m curious your comments on 1Timothy 3 where the Bible discusses bishops and deacons? Also, Acts 15 speaks of elders. And there are other places as well. Even in the Old Testament, there were requirements. While I understand the general statement you are making in that churches have strayed from what they were intended to be, I do not agree that there shouldn’t be leadership in the church. After all, that’s exactly what Peter and Paul, amongst others, were. I’m curious as to other’s input on this.
I saved this video a while back and just finished watching just now and was thrown. We left the formal church a couple years ago and the Lord led us to begin gathering in our home where we fellowship through food and discussion based on the Word Of God. Everyone participates in the discussion. It has been good. We end with prayer for each other. Thank you for making this confirming video. God is calling His people back to him, and prayerfully we all hear the call.
Wow! I'm really sorry this has been your experience. I hope that your faith in Christ had not faltered. May you find peace and somewhere to share your faith.

@Shadow11 They can still be pastors and deacons to pastor the flock but it doesn’t have to be in the manner it is today.
Brother I thank you for speaking so much truth i’ve had the same questions and thoughts about the System that we are in, it wasn’t matching what I saw in scripture I hope we get back to what the church was.
God, not the Megachurch, did this...
This takes large sums of money to pay for the high salaries and the operating expenses... nothing like what Jesus taught about.
exactly
We are the church!!!

Salma Abdulkarim I feel the same.
Nuff Said!
1 Cor 14:26 What then brothers When you come together EACH ONE has a hymn a lesson a revelation a tongue or an interpretation let all things be done for the building up.
Paul explains more on how a gathering of new covenant saints is to gather in chapter 12 as well…
Pretty clear the gathering isn’t intended for a single gift to be given but that EACH is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the building up of all.
Wrong. Church is not to read the word, church was never to read the word, but fellowship and as described on 1 corinthians by Paul.
@samplautz5586 was the church in small town in Tennessee?
I stopped going to all churches, years ago, and I am far closer in communion with GO than I have ever been. " I have more insight than all of my teachers, for I meditate on YOUR Statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey YOUR WORD. I have not departed from YOUR WAYS, for YOU YOURSELF have taught me." Psalm 119:99-102
I’ve been demonized by many of my fellow believers for decrying the modern “church”. Thank you for this; for iron sharpens iron and the Lord gives me strength.
I said I didn't care for Beth Moore studies. The deacons totally disagreed.

We should not give up meeting together...whether in "church" or in small gatherings

Living epistles, known and read by all around them.
I remember noticing the cars speeding out of the parking lot after service also. Most likely to get to Sunday buffet or catch a ball game.
I have always been saying this to people. Exactly! the church is the people.

Have you now changed your belief, to 'learn' from a woman?
Servus Christi,
Wasn't the ordination and sanctioning of women in leadership and teaching roles within the church
biblical countered for Paul would not 'Permit' it ?
I don't understand why and how they asked you for money? What for? What if you didn't give them money?
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Thank you for freeing me from my complacency and getting me back on track through earnest, heart-wrenching repentance! Praying for us all! #MuchLove

The church became corrupt the moment it became linked with secular political powers. Only after then did Christians feel justified in killing one another over political and theological differences. There isn’t likely to be revival in this country because egregious, hubristic, and contentious Christians don’t really want it. They want to be able to crush, despise, and hate their enemies, not only their enemies but those with whom they disagree.

Debi Barrington hi there. I've been seeking the kind of fellowship you speak of. Are you all in the US?

I have a disdain for the church system. Such a deep hatred for it.
Each Sunday, the church attempts to put on “The Greatest Show On Earth”
It can now since it no longer has Ringling Brothers standing in its way.
It's nothing but entertainment now.

Pray you were edified by this video.
God bless you, Sarah.
“So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.”
Acts 14:23
Clergy who have been ordained and have had holy orders done to them are part of Lucifer's Kingdom.

Its been long I met with the saints to fellowship, but am truthfully and anxiously longing to resume fellowship sooner than latter. because the body of Jesus Christ i.e the church is the believer's power house. forsaking the meetings is not good for our spiritual growth. spreading the love of Christ is one thing and fellowshipping with like minded saints is another. its my prayer that God lead us into the right congregation devoid of any leaven of religiosity and organizational marketing strategies. God be with you
When I was a young girl we had a wonderful church.
The church is where there are 2-3 or more people gathered speaking gods word . The church are the people

Allow me to Recite a Poem by Mr. Ray Stevens from the 80's:
'Would Jesus wear a Rolex on his Television Show?'
Woke up this morning, turned on my TV set.
There in living color was something I can't forget.
This man was preaching at me, yeah laying on the charm,
Askin' me for 20. with 10,000. on his arm.
He wore designer clothing and a big smile on his face,
Selling me salvation while they sang 'Amazing Grace'
Asking me for money when he had all the signs of wealth.

This is exactly how I felt. For years I been wanting to start a home church / Bible study the way it was meant ..
How's it going?
Lookslike xD well I'm just starting out so we will see

I also have the same wish but people nowadays couldn't care less about the Bible (I'm talking about "Christians"). They just want a denomination that makes them "feel good".
Lookslike xD oh my yess know what you mean we should talk sometime if you want is there a way to pm on here?
Yes, the “performance model” with stage and audience has always felt off to me. For introverts like me, home church is comforting because too many people are overwhelming but more importantly home church is biblical. When I visited my brother and his family most mornings we would all pray, read the Bible and share what was laid on our hearts from that passage and worship the Lord in spirit and truth. So much more edifying than feeling anonymous in a sea of people listening to a message and remaining quiet then, leaving with a sense of loneliness. “Church” can be a lonely and that’s wrong. Thank you for this video❤
Sadly. The Church seems a need to entertain in order for peoples' return.
The Church is the Christians. Not the building.
Gather with like-minded and always add more for life of the spirit God will honor you
Deb M happy to know that I am not alone on this..But we have to pray for our Countries.... That they might repent and realize the grace of God
faitje love Not to mention that repent involves turning away from your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ to save you from your sins.
I am getting ready to start my third home church. Pray for me.
@Sky Lion Thanks.
Why do build big temples or churches? We can praise God with small place. Why can't use that money to donate to poor people, victims of such chaos etc.?

I am saying this knowing 99% of you will not believe it but here goes anyway. The Catholic church is the LARGEST charitable organization in the WORLD. It feeds, clothes, houses and
nurses more poor than any other organization [ Wikipedia ] and despite the horrible lies told about it every day, it never mentions these facts. It is following HIS command to
Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the afflicted.

Sounds like you are following HIS command to Do Works ! God Bless You.

True the church has become a show, but to throw out the church completely is also not biblically accurate. You still can gather in whatever building fits your gathering. With a pastor and a worship team. We should never idolize, but we can revere and follow christ like men. Paul said imitate as I imitate christ. Find a good small church and serve christ.

Where does the bible teach that the pastor is the overseer over a congregation of people. Jesus is the overseer and elders provide some spiritual leadership to point people toward Jesus.
“I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue.” -Paul the Apostle
I don’t think the gifts of the Spirit have ceased, but you shouldn’t worry one bit if you don’t have the gift of tongues or prophecy.
The reason why there is so much confusion is because most professing christians don't understand what 2 Tim 2:15 "KJV
"15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.", and so many people put their trust in a pastor then studying the bible for themselves.
Amen and amen! Paul wrote it and few do it. The fake "church" we see today is the result of what happened while Paul lived and wrote:"2 Timothy 1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes."
He meant almost all who originally believed his gospel [Galatians et al] had apostatized back to religion/Judaizers etc. which eventually led to the Constantinian Roman Catholic Church and its Protestant daughters.
Jonathan DeLeon The pope is a heretic! What are you talking about? Catholics are the omega of apostasy!
Victoriousvision
Most Church goers dont understand the Bible, period! They dont know how to read it!
I like the small group idea, maybe the Lord will do that for me, thank you Lord that would be great as I abide in your Word
You've got a ton of presuppositions there.
NorthwoodsHermit Amen, God Bless you.
NorthwoodsHermit nice book
You're welcome. Isn't it nice technology--that we can choose what to read and how to respond? Short enough for you?
Deb M, me too ... I have been searching all of my life ... I do not feel worthy of starting such a church, or I would.
Keep on putting God's Word First in your Life😇🙌🙏👍💯 He will always give you His Best in due time 🙏🙏🙏 Be Blessed🙏🙏🙏
u're in good company.
All of my friends stayed in church, and fell away and now are involved in the occult.
Thanks! I no longer feel alone in this minority view.
Jesusfreak u r not alone.. I no longer go to church.. I read my bible and pray at home
I feel for you two. Stay where the pasture is safe and always green.
How are you doing today my name is Eric moore
How do i find fellowship these days HELP i feel so lonely for sisterly fellowship its allways about money
I feel you me too.Not judging churches but it would be nice to have a place where everything is centered on the word of God. I crave that.
Debbie read emanual swedenborg a very rational christian philosopher. God bless and good luck cliff australia
Start your own fellowship.
i can tell you a good church if you are near north alabama usa
Thank you for this beautifully done video. This is exactly how I feel. I am searching the scriptures as you speak. God speed and shalom.

Ana,
Some would say, go as your heart directs you but beware..."the heart is deceitful above all things" Jeremiah 17:9
I also felt God called me away from the church...felt great going for walk in nature on Sundays. Praying trying to talk to God (no remorse or guilt) no church and no worries.
But slowly I began to struggle without that connection to other believers....Not saying your wrong...just saying be careful
+Eric Kingsbury bless you ....there is no right or wrong way to despise or defend the church...
Song i wrote(to tune of Little Boxes)
Thousand steeples on the hillside,
Deceive God's children just to come inside
Where they line them up in pews,
And have them stare "in Jesus Name"
At the preachers, priests, and pastors
They've turned Christ's body into a disaster!
Cause they've robbed them of their birthright
And they've made the lion tame.
They've been lied to 'bout His Kingdom
Cause Jesus resides right inside of 'em!
New creations! Pure and holy
No condemnation, guilt or blame.
Be ye Baptist or Methodist, Charismatic or Presbyterian
You're just slightly reformed Catholics
And you sit there just the same!
Just be sisters and be brothers, you'll be known for loving others.
Not your doctrines or your buildings, worship services, "glad you came!"
A thousand steeples all around us
do Christ's body a great disservice.
They separate us from one another
And fill us full of fear and shame.
A thousand christians in the neighborhood
Freed from stubble, freed from hay and wood
Have more impact on the kingdom
Than all the steeples ever could.
The Christian life is really simple
When you realize YOU"RE GOD's TEMPLE!!
You're now free to tell the story...
"It's Christ in US, the hope of glory"
A cup of water to an orphan.
Turn widow's frown into a smile.
This is religion pure and undefiled
THis is life in Christ- out in the wild.
Great song!
Wow, sending this to a friend. God bless!
Absolutely heart-Warmingly beautiful and yet So True 'A pure desire we would all have more UnderStanding For God To Open Our Minds Everyday to See like He Do ♥ God Bless You And Family Shalom
Having a personal and intimate relationship with God thru Christ. Meeting together where and when ever with others is the church. People.
They shall not Endure sound Doctrine, for the lord will send them a strong Delusion.
Julio Conde I am with you.
+Julio Conde - You're combining two verses from two different books of the Bible... James and 1 Corinthians..Not supposed to do that.
Sad but true, I am guilty sometimes...
www.vergenetwork.org/2012/04/30/discipleship-in-mission-short-film/
You are helping me wake up. I cried a little at this because I am fell for the system even though I felt something off about it. I must be true to God.
God loves u and he will show u the right path sometimes the lord works in mysterious ways..
Ponder these scriptures:
Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." Romans 13:1 "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those which exist are established by God."
Temple/church congregation leaders are established in the Bible in both the old and new Testaments.

As well as enjoy and feast...have a good time.
Read this:
www.gotquestions.org/church-government.html
We must pray for our pastors because it's a stressful job in the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Well said Angela.
@Lying Eyes I agree with you - we don't need bigger salt shakers - we need to scatter that salt-where it can do some good.
Rom 15:13
Isaiah 29:13 comes to mind too!
My husband and i both agree with the teaching, some think we are nuts for it as well. Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in Jesus name, There He will be in the midst.
:) sounds like a great idea!
Alice Wild, Amen😊But as for you, SPEAK the THINGS which are PROPER for SOUND DOCTRINE. Titus 2:1
Wow!
If you crave for our Lord God Jesus Christ real PRESENCE, and have the fullness of the means of salvation, go to a Catholic Parish Church in your area and take "Faith Formation" to have a better understanding of The Catholic Christian Faith and not get caught up with distorted views on BAPTISM, SALVATION, and WORSHIP. And for now here's the reason why you should become a Catholic Christian: .
.
.
THERE IS NO OTHER CHURCH
.
but The Catholic Christian Church: The Mother Church because Jesus Christ, Himself, founded The Catholic Christian Church in Jerusalem, Israel.
.
The Catholic Christian Church put The Bible together - to use The Bible to correct The Catholic Christian Church is ABSURD!
.
The Catholic Christian Church has the PREPONDERANCE of MIRACLES like the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy; the Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe imprinted on the tilma of Saint Juan Diego; the apparitions of our Virgin Mary in Lourdes, France and Fatima, Portugal; the Shroud of Turin in Italy; and the incorruptible bodies of famous Saints like Saint Bernadette, Saint Vincent de Paul, Saint Catherine Laboure, Saint Louise de Marillac, and lately, Saint Father Pio and Saint Pope John XXIII, and has the famous Saints’ writings from their great minds - an indication that our Triune God is communicating only to this Catholic Christian Church.
.
There is no other faiths in the world that can bolster these kind of credentials - only The Catholic Christian Faith!

ROMAN CATHECHISM PASTORAL PRINCIPLE:
.
"The whole concern of doctrine and its teaching must be directed to the love that never ends. Whether something is proposed for belief, for hope, or for action, the love of our Lord must always be made accessible, so that anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at love.”
.
Take care and keep in touch, always!
Keep with it sister. I believe that is what God wants.
At same time thats how cults start in thouse home, s pecially if they dont know the word of God!
The problem with deception is that people don't know they are being deceived
Tell us your sins , let's fix you up...where are you going? You owe us now.
Thanks for provoking me to think and seek after the Lord for guidance, it is not easy to find a small group of people where you feel you are part of, like a family, I am thankful to the Lord I am part of one, but I do know many christians who long desperatedly for such a place of fellowship and cant find it, because some churches are focused on numbers and finances
we are the church, our soul is a temple of the Almighty Creator and Saviour.
Pedro Viaud I don’t like the mega churches I use to go to one but I found out you are not recognized if you don’t have wealth!
@@Jan5532 Beware you are on the wrong path that leads to hell!!!
Not every church. Try the every spirit to see if it is of God.
It's called home or house church, just be careful as long it is sane doctrine peace
There were times when I went to church, I felt it was just a show, and not real. I might say, Pretentious. I am nobody of course, it just didn't seem real.
I went to one today that felt alot like that. So the search for a worthy church continues.
Read about the early churches. House groups may be something us Christians could think about.
2 young truth!!!
2 young being a Believer can be lonely but I've learned to accept it and wait on God.
Chur hes I have been to have been very accepting. I can't ever recall feelikg unwelcomed . I am in the South btw.
KJV! Yes!
A M E N !
Amen
Sign on the front lawn, "Come as you are... and stay the same when you leave."
So sad.

Remember the Sabbath day (Saturday) to keep it set apart...
Sunday is not God's chosen day for the purpose of weekly congregation.
Scripture teaches it is Saturday, the 7th day of the week (Gen.2, Ex16, Ex20, Lev23)

Romans 1:2: Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
Well the old testament speaks of the first church which was in the wilderness with Moses and that was a huge multitude, and that was at least a million souls at best. There's nothing wrong with a church as long as you feed the flock as Jesus says. What's wrong with churches today no one is hardly being fed spiritual food. Everything is okay with God and he loves everyone no matter what you do is always forgiving and which he is .....but no one talks of sin and what you need to know to have a true relationship with God and what is required. The pastors feed the flock base on what the flock wants to hear smooth things nothing harsh just talk about how much money I can have.
agree with you, and we can not generalize, not all the churches are like they put in this video, they are those who serve in spirit and truth!
May I ask when was there a church in the Old Testament? what scripture is that,?because the church began in the New Testament after the death of Jesus. thank you!
I quit attending "church" about 12 years ago for this very reason. This video has helped me to start walking in the right direction again.
I could never understand why most church worship on Sunday. When Exodus 20 8-11 plainly states Saturday-which is the Sabbath.
THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE AREOUND THE WORLD WORK ON SATURDAY ! WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE, FOR GOODNESS SAKE ? Love God and your neighbour,
pray for guidance and obey the 10 commandments.
AROUND !
How many denominations are there now? 1000 and growing? His sheep hear his voice. Listen to the Holy Spirit.
AMEN!
