I wish Om Puri had taken care of himself more. Such a loss. Each time I come across one video or other of his, the regret crops up again. Recently I was the prison museum in Port Blair; quite surprisingly, the evening show started and there came the voice of Om Puri. What a touching moment. I recommend everyone to participate in the evening show at this museum, just to hear his voice.
