Handy to know. Well explained and demonstrated as always.
The hole looks like an afterthought DIY drilling (I know it isn't). The hire car newer VW product we have at the moment, another 21st-century German engineering quality 😂, has a quarter circle arc slot so VW must have accepted they need to make things easier to allow for their parts failures with this. It's not happened on my wife's 2015 Fabia (yet) but I have seen failures mentioned on newer Fabias so possibly VW have added the switch to their (growing) list of lower quality parts. I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention this is explained in the Owner's Manual which also seems to show use of the toolkit Torx screwdriver.
I spend half my life sitting in the boot of cars! I was in the Primera's yesterday due to a suspected water leak.
I had to watch this video again. I am blown away with how much effort you put into each video. You do a lot more than what most people realise. How many cameras were used, as you have so many angles!!
Thank you, Matt. That's appreciated. I typically use two cameras. The DSLR for distance shots and a phone for close up.
Hey man, any idea how to remove the grip from a 2008 Octavia handbrake?
Cheers
Never tried, but the following link might help. See:

I will have to show my brother, Incase his girlfriend locks him in the boot one day. Lol
He should carry a screwdriver at all times!
