Why did I buy a brand new car and more importantly why did I choose the Fortuner?

Love mine mate. Heaps of power and torture, loving mine, have the same spec and colour. Ordered with factory snorkel tow bar and weathershields. Just added XRS uhf, second battery, fuel filter and redarc bcdc. Upgraded interior lights to Stedi led. Wicked upgrade, seriously good. Took the 3rd row seats out and bought some covers from WA to cover the hole. 4000km on mine now, can only get 9.0 l/100. Next mod is offroad animal Toro bar and winch. Great car 👍
Nice to hear, i have done 1000kms and mentioned about fuel consumption to Dealer, it seems to be not right with mine 10.9l/100kms mostly urban and abit highway.

Offroad Animal Australia. Best Raptor Bulbar for the Toyota Fortuner. Also they are developing roof racks and rock sliders which should be out by the first quarter of 2023. You got to have a look at their website in the sections for Toyota Fortuner and Hilux and you will have a fair idea of what they offer.

Pick mine up in 2 weeks, just looking for options now for roof racks.
So keen for this, I have a gx fortuner on order (16 month wait... and 3 months into it). Can't wait to see what you get up to with it!

@@matthewgrimson4557 that's good. Dealer told me 3-6 months for a new GX... But since when would any same person believe what a car salesperson says
@PotatoesRnice well what's really interesting is, if I ordered the GX with the option pack today, so sat nav pack and DBA+ radio, it would arrive in 3 months from today. If I ordered the GX with no options, it would be 12 months. That's word from the dealership anyway.
@@matthewgrimson4557 I scoffed at the idea of paying 1k for garbage satnav and digital radio (considering it has phone integration). What the dealer has told you sounds very manipulative. No surprises there

Looking forward to more videos on this. I am dying to know if the GX comes with factory holes for roof racks underneath those black strips? Can you tell me please?
Also does it have an AUX port lol?
Under the black strips there aren’t holes for a roof rack on the outer layer. However with any rail system roof rack, you have to take the roof lining out inside the car and there are pre marked holes where they need to be from the inside.
It has apple car play, Bluetooth and an aux
@@ryanformophoto lazy Toyota. They could have at least put the holes in if they were gonna mark them lol. I guess what will be important is sealing the paint after drilling so that the roof doesn't rust.

Hi Ryan, Could you please let us know what is the fuel consumption?i have mine just a month ago gxl model and full tank 80l and i could do only 730kms. which works out to be 10.9 l/100kms. and i have nothing added on my car just yet. Thanks
As a stock vehicle I am getting around 8.6L/100kms. I don’t do much city driving at all. Don’t flog it, but don’t baby it either getting that.
SUVs are just trucks.
