Aww the judges are such babies here ❤ this was the beginning of the best masterchef series in the world & I watched it all. Even though they were already great chefs but doing it for the first time in front of TV must have been bit overwhelming even for them, like how to react, how teach etc. But I guess experiences like these are what make prepared for the future & help you become better with time. Before you know it, you're an expert already. Garry, George & Matt are truly inspirational & sweetest judges in any reality show 😊
Australian Masterchef judges are just really nice and polite to the contestants. They are encouraging them and helping them grow instead of just telling them off and behaving like arrogant assholes like the judges on other Masterchef shows.
This was super-pedagogical! Amazin teaching skills from these guys. Never saw season 1 before, but I love it, how it turned into the powerhouse of a television show it is today! :)
@@jamescollins2499 Well, you wouldn't find me tossing my hair around or wearing jewellery or having anything but brushed-clean fingernails in the kitchen, that's for sure.... and thank you, kind sire!
@@jamescollins2499 Not all men, according to some of my regretted history! Grown-up, decent chaps I would like to think so. Personally? Well, (*she says modestly*) since I'm the person doing all the shopping and cooking for moi at the moment, yes. All girls like to be dined in a restaurant from time to time. My standards are probably annoyingly high... :) If a chap goes to the effort of serious, thoughtful, delicious cooking then that is far more deeply appreciated, yes. Contestants shown chucking out expensive food ingredients to start over is offensive in India where people are starving. And why no use of pressure cooker which greatly cuts down cooking time and fuel?
Don't be so damn foolish, in the UK a 3kg bag of quality potatoes is 85p in any supermarket. The reason they are so cheap is we grow a lot and by the time they were shipped to a nation that's lacking food like India they would be rotten. Fresh non GMO veg spoils very fast, we in the UK and most EU nations throw out millions of tones of food per year simply because it has spoiled while waiting to be sold or in the fridge. The idea that you should not throw out food you cooked poorly because someone els over the other side of the world could have ate it is extremely short sighted and inaine. We could perserve the veg and ship it to them but then you have the extra processing and the price of the tin and the travel loading and unloading cost, by the time it would reach India it would simply be far to expensive to compete with local indian produce. Let me make this as clear as I can for you, its not any western nations fault that the Indian government fails to properly manage its population numbers and has allowed it to get out of control. You should have less babies. Your problem is not your lack of food, its your massive population that is the problem. Maintaining so many people is simply unsustainable. India and China are also the biggest concern for any scientist in regaurds to climet change, the populations in those nations are simply far to large compared to the CO2 sinks their landscapes offer. If you want a better quality of life move to somewhere with less people, its really that simple.

I'm still salty Tom is here and Melissa is not. She quit her job for this chance, but got send home because her team was sabotaged. It's just wrong.

I hate to see people, usually women, cooking with rings on. They can contain so much bacteria. Ugh.
Very spot on Tara and you bet I’m right behind ya ! I wouldn’t want to enjoy a food that’s delicious but unhealthy for me yuck 🤢
You seem like a pretty good and Clean cook yourself . I like that 😊
