I love the constant chaos in the videos Chris 😂 and I do prefer the long videos I just watch them at 1.25 or 1.5 speed and they are usually in the background while I’m doing other things. Your videos are entertaining!!
I love that much of this video was shown in real time, along with true emotions of frustration and questioning choices along the way. I can sooo relate. The end result is amazingly spectacular and truly NUTRAGEOUS!!! TY!!! 10/10
Don't beat yourself up... the drawing says why you did this... you wanna have fun again... stinktober can be later. have fun with redrawing... and yes I like long videos. and I like the music. I am drawing WITH you right now
Nice video, I really like the energy you put into your work. Resonated with this particular video a lot. Sometimes I go through old sketchbooks and find that drawings I made while not feeling really well are actually decent ideas that can be developed into a worthwhile piece. I hope your channel keeps growing! Hands down the chillest art creator I follow.👽
✨🛸🪐 🙋🏼♀️ (btw your videos have improved so so much.) I do notice where you are drifting off when talking at times and tbh it is what makes you, YOU. - and I think that is amazing. As a graphic design student, you learn that everything has already been done. So, what you have to do is take something and be the best at it and/or find something about yourself/your style that makes you stand out. You have several things that help you stand out, but having ADHD and doing this type of video that you know you have issues with (I’m assuming based on what you mentioned) - like keeping a train of thought while trying to draw, is what draws me to your content. I work on my art while watching your videos and I catch myself stopping and looking up and thinking, “oh my god what a goober.” I love it 😂
I am so glad I found your channel. I’ve learned so much as I’m learning fresco. Keep up the great videos. Long or short, I’m always learning something new. Especially love this idea of redoing a page in your sketchbook. I will have to try that seeing as how I can get artist block every once in a while.
I’m at the halfway point on the video and loving it! It feels like the client just texted to move up the delivery date and said they are going with the crappier print company. So I know I have to push through when I am leaned out on creativity and I will hate seeing what they do with my work. Really loving the video.
⏲✊Fake Productivity FTW! Great vid! Love the long form videos! whether it's a stream or just watching you work on a project like this. I'm able to pick up valuable insights that are less obvious than the general bullet points discussed in a shorter vid.
This was my first video of yours that I have watched and I absolutely loved it. I love watching longer videos on TH-cam especially when I am drawing myself on my iPad using the split screen function. I loved the way that the picture turned out. I have taken some of my traditional art and remade it on my iPad. I love the Adobe fresco because it has the vector art brushes. The pixeled lines on procreate drive me crazy. So usually I do my sketches on procreate and transfer it over to fresco to do the color and line work because I still like procreate. Thank you so much for sharing your art and videos with us. I can't wait to watch more of them.
Note before readfing this: It's long with lots of (in your mind probably) unnecessary fill words and lots of sentences in sentences in sentences. It's chaos in the attic, so sorry. So, this was the third video i watched from you, only found you today :D You know what? I might be in a minority here but this type of video, where it's mostly raw, uncut, long AND fricking soothing is my favourite type of video. I am so glad you decided to do this. I wish there'd be more of this on YT. Especially with digital drawing videos. Though i enjoy watching them, the constant zooming in and out gives me an immediate headache and dizzyness when it's sped up.. which it is most of the time. So thank you!!! So much! It really felt like hanging out with you without all the typical live-stream-chat-interruptions (felt more personal and calmer this way) and i enjoyed watching every single line stroke you made, hearing every single word you said and following your decision making process (which feels invaluable to me to be a part of). I think speeding up in between and at the end worked quite well. I just wished it had another reason in the end, than just you being concerned over time or the entertainment factor. We make art to enjoy ourselves, to express ourselves.. to create ourselves, just like your smoke guy. The smoke guy also shows you how to have fun again: it comes from within you. If something doesnt feel right, just close your eyes and let things be. When you reopen them you might have a different perspective on things and the fun will come automatically, as long as you created something. I found that quite fitting that you drew him right next to the fun lettering. Please please please TRY and stop beating yourself up over the video format, the length, the entertainment factor, bla.. (easier said than done i know).. i didn't even care if you were out of frame for a bit, as i'm here to watch you draw and not study your facial lines ;) Ok, that might just be me, but what i love most about watching your videos is getting to know your authentic self which makes you one of the rarer art youtubers who are so damn relatable! Be kind to yourself, keep having fun :) Your channel deserves to grow big and wild and even weirder. I'll be here for it! ✊Fake Productivity ftw! (no diagnosed ADHD, so no emoji-alien, who knows.. I do share half the struggles and the other half makes me a complete alien, but from a different planet :D
Good morning - thank you for the creative inspiration! It's still very early in the morning here. The first coffee is already freshly brewed here. And for a long time now I've been motivated to grab my drawing pencil and doodle for an hour. Thank you for taking me! - Thumbs up!
Okay, I just watched two back to back. First was Illustration career game changer' ... I resonate with you on so many levels! Yes, I'm still listening, I'm also drawing and painting - but you've totally got my attention! I've always loved to draw. No formal training, but can draw the 'apple' ... just don't really want to. Never knew how to describe my artistic style (granted, it's a mixed bag). This def leads to confirming the imposter syndrome! Then my Aunt, who is in fact a fine artist (Mine Fav) revealed to me - you are definitely an artist - and you're style IIllustrative! Somehow, that simple little nugget of truth made all the difference! It gave me the confidence to describe and to start sharing my art - with pride. Listening to your dialogue (spoken, but clearly inner dialogue), I also wonder if I'm not a wee bit on the spectrum (time? What is this thing you speak of? 😂) ... but not really interested in investigating - kinda like the apple. I made it this far and, besides, I'm always late, so I don't have time 🤣 Anyways, thank you so much for sharing!!! Look fwd to following more of your content.
This kind of videos is helpful because it gives me time to absorb your process. Thanks, I could watch any movie right now but I rather learn from you. Thanks
✊👍🙂 Just discovered your vids yesterday. You're awesome! Been bingeing your content ever since. Thank you for your perspective! Diggin' it!!! Keep it up, dude!!!
The old man face reminds me of an animation from a kids show like Sesame Street or The Electric Company from the 70's. They used to do some really trippy stuff back in the day. I don't think their version had a but hole mouth though.
i watched the whole video and i loved it. thanks for finishing it :) i would have felt a sense of incompleteness if you didnt. just found your channel and i think you are fantastic. new sub see you around!
Trying to relearn my love for drawing, I can enjoy digital sometimes but its hard for for me to sit down pen / pencil and paper but I’ve been drawing while watching this video and I felt the need to comment because I felt myself enjoying it with just a pencil paper and my mind! Thank you, also 👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
Hi, I use an iPad and Adobe Fresco most of the time. I have a ton of specific tutorials on my channel, here's a playlist with them. th-cam.com/play/PLAufnRAvMJPA-HqPweZI908u7K1Lmrc2y.html
I prefer working in pixel brushes as I have a lot more control and it’s much closer to analog drawing. I tend to only use vector if the final art needs to be for some reason, but that’s not that often. High resolution pixel based work is more than adequate for most use cases.
I know I drew for at least just under 2 hours because this was on in the background the whole time encouraging me by saying my thoughts out loud for me.
The words that guide me through life "let's polish this turd". Love the video man, thank you. Big love.
✊🏾 SUPPORT FOR EVERY VIDEO YOU CREATE! YOU INSPIRE ME AND DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT! KEEP GOING! AND DON'T QUIT!
Thanks so much!
I was literally just drawing with you in the background so yes these long form videos serve a purpose!
Perfect! Thank you!

Ahh thanks so much!

Hah thank you so much I really appreciate that, and you taking the time to let me know! Means a lot!
So worth it, I love the result! Thanks for chatting about the color work to give ideas on how to finish. Fun!
You are so welcome!

This video got me super inspired, I have a sketch-turd now that I can polish. Love the long draw-along videos!
So glad to hear!

I had this video playing while drawing today, and it was like having a drawing session with a friend! Thanks for hanging out!
I think "let's polish this turd" just became my new motto for pretty much everything in life 👽

I dig long videos. I find it annoying to have to find multiple videos to watch while I have my coffee.👍
glad you're liking them! coffee is the best with a good vid lol
Definitely learning by just watching. You're dropping nuggets without meaning too. Much appreciated!
Glad to hear!
I love all your videos and am also a big fan of your artwork and art style! Keep up the good work :) This video is as amazing as usual.
Thank you so much 😀
I think you're so talented, creative and hilarious. Thank you for getting me into fresco, it's so good 👍 🙌
you're welcome!! means a lot 🤩
✊🏾..a good watch, loved seeing your process.

watching the whole thing on the bus to work. I enjoyed it.

Glad you like them!
Hey buddy, I'm only about 10 mins into the video and I absolutely love it. I really feel your art style and I think it's pretty similar to my own 🙂
Thank you!!!
👊🏻 grew up skating and noticed your shirt. Good concept for a video here. Hopefully you revisit more of your old sketches.
Thanks! Will do!
✊Still here. Very meditative and delightful.
So glad!
✊ I love having your videos playing while I’m drawing on my tablet. Rock on!

✊️ thanks for all that you do I'm trying to get back in to doing digital art myself and I find your videos super inspiring and helpful.
I’m glad to hear they’re helpful!
01:47:30 , Fresco could have a proper color picker, similar to what was showcased 6years ago by Adobe, known as the "Playful Palette"
oooh ! Great Idea!
Honestly I loved this video, it was the perfect background while I did my own doodling. Don't be too hard on yourself. Also ⏰ haha.
Thank you!
Love this video format! 👽🛸👽🛸👽🛸🧜🏾

I loved this video. Sometimes you gotta go long.
I agree! thank you!! 🤗
Why did you decide not to do this one in vector?
