Thanks! Most of the time the modes are only described in theory but not as a "practical" sound. I always felt there was a disconnect and it's my mission to fix that with these videos.

are you playing in the key of F when you're jamming in G Dorian .. G Dorian 1 ,iv., v chord progression would be G min. C maj. D min. I'm trying to understand this thanks for your time
I'm 100% playing in G! Dorian IS my key 😀
G minor is the 2 chord of F major but I think guitar players look at major keys and minor keys separately...but absolutely Dorian is about adding the F major notes to the g minor scale
