Fun fact the fight with Sylvia and the crimson demons was longer in the novel. The crimson demons love spamming ‘teleport’ so they basically used hit and run tactics on her the whole time. Also there was a whole skit about Soketta(female of the four crimson demons first introduced) and Bukorri(first to introduce himself, cobbler) where Soketta was wounded and Bukurri wanted to save her. He was on his knees crying and even Sylvia was watching the scene intently. Then when Soketta was saying her goodbye, she just used teleport. And then Bukorri stood up and used teleport like nothing happened. That was when Sylvia started to get serious in the fight because she was pissed at them for messing around. Even Kazuma was angry at the anticlimactic ending.
This was my favorite gag in the books. Sad it wasn't animated. Even better is that it was not a one off. They just kept doing it to Sylvia. Give their dying speech, and then teleport away right when she's about to get to them.
In a sense, it was also SHORTER in the novels, since the battle ended when Komekko shot through Sylvia with the Railgun. There was none of that "Fusing with Hans and Verdia" and "I love you" stuff.
Kazumas teenage boy internal monologues is so on point it's scary. There's no ill will in there, just alot of hormones, that screws up his priorities, and I love it so much!
and kazuma actually can control it. and that's an amazing thing than the average teenage boy. so yeah, even tho kazuma seems pervert, but he is not pervert. especially kazuma condition here is like.. surrounded by at least 3 beautiful girls. and it's AT LEAST. yunyun and wiz are also beautiful ones.

And Kazuma himself put his foot in it, freely telling about the 300 million and the mansion. That deep inside both Kazuma and Megumin felt the same without admitting it before was a lucky coincidence.
Its also the fact that the Crimson Demons culture was manufactured by a Japanese otaku reincarnated, so the Crimson Demons culture in a way are closer to Kazuma's Japanese culture. So Megumin could see Kazuma in a more relatable way sort of...
Yeah, they hacked and slashed the edit to death I think. I get videos for YT gotta be cut up, but like goddamn, the editing choices for this movie specifically weren't so great, imo. I get that it is difficult to decide which parts to cut, because the entire movie is so great and there are so many great moments and shenanigans going on.
They intentionally edited it this way so you guys would think about purchasing membership on their Patreon for full uncut videos. That's how they earn money to keep doing this because they don't earn much from TH-cam monetization because of copyright claims.
Some tidbits and funfacts: First of Arue, she is literally best girl among the kids her year. She is like Megumin and Yunyun also in 13/14 age range, but she is kinda the big sister type. She is very encouraging to her peers, very good natured even if her fantasy does tend to be excessive. Together with Megumin and Yunyun she is actually the highest scoring and most proficient of her class and early on even outranked the other two. When Megumin is away she also spends time with Komeko and looks after her. Megumin and Kazuma are only roughly 3 years apart in age. Megumins mother knows that Megumin has feelings for Kazuma otherwise she wouldn't try to push them. The fact he is wealthy only encouraged it more as she suffers from her relationship on a financial level. Her husband is like the male version of Aqua that always causes debt, so she has to keep him in control, otherwise they might really starve. This caused her to have to leave her girls alone at times, which is why Kazuma's financial stability and thus being able to care for Megumin is a big plus for her. If Megumin really only had platonic feelings for Kazuma, she wouldn't push for it, but she knows how her daughter can be. The funny thing about the fusion of Hans, Veldia and Sylvia fighting Wiz is their history. Wiz when at the height of her power stormed the demon kings castle after becoming a lich and beat those 3 single handedly. The demon ing then made a deal with her, she would become one of the cornerstones of his protective barrier and retire as an adventurer, in return Veldia would lift his curse on her friends and the demon king army would avoid civilian casualties and focus on adventurers and soldiers.
So a little fun fact at the end of this chapter Megumin actually begins referring to Kazuma as "her man" at least to her friends and while Kazuma may be ignorant to it now she already considers them to be in a relationship.
Megumin is the cutest yandere in anime. She's so cute that many audience members don't even seem to notice she's tried to have people killed for flirting with her man. It's subtle, but 100% there: The only girl she seems "comfortable" with "competing" for her prize, is Darkness.
She just let her feelings be known to Kazuma even if he doesn't take it seriously. kinda of a spoiler if it's like the light novels by the end of season 4 Kazuma and Megumin have another heart to heart and admit there feelings to each other and low key realize there in a relationship.
They cut out Kazuma and Megumin's third night. Kazuma and Megumin have their 3rd night together in her room and they talk about Valentine's Day and stuff. And at the end of the discussion, she says that she likes him and that she would give him a chocolate be they in Kazuma's country. The next day, Megumin calls Kazuma her man in front of her classmates and YunYun. And btw, Megumin herself volunteers to spend that 3rd night with Kazuma. (All this is from a reddit thread for the same)

But, the anime always tones down on the serious or romantic moments in the story, season 3 was more like the light novels than anything before, but even then the comedy was more exaggerated than the source. However, at least it was closer to the source material, so that's a positive change.

And it would more embarrassing to admit to be friends with Mushoku's author. One of the best ways to point out Kazuma's complete lack of interest in Aqua is the Season 2 episode that introduces Yunyun (ep 2 I think?). When both Aqua and the prosecutor are grabbed by the toads, they show the prosecutors moans in a very erotic way, but show aqua as a complete spaz.

The OVAs are just fanfiction, and the movie had a LOT changed so Kazuma acts a lot worse and the characterization is a bit off. So the movie has fanfiction mixed in as well.
I feel that Aqua is actually the perfect match for Kazuma. They’re both so dysfunctional. They’re like that couple who constantly argue but are together for decades.

i think an Aqua ship wouldn't really work; i always had a feeling, especially when they were preparing for the journey to the hot springs town, that they were like siblings, sometimes being on the same wavelength and dumb, but most of the time fighting
That was not the first Japanese person who, upon being reincarnated here to "defeat the Devil King", chose an overpowered noncombat ability. We already had the person who wanted to be able to gain experience points without fighting monsters... who is responsible for all the animated flying vegetables because a vegetable's body cannot be worth XP unless it takes somebody's effort to harvest it. (Thus, the RPG concept of kill-farming for the benefit of underleveled characters - the straight version does exist in this setting but is uncommon as it's not normally worth the trouble unless you're the Crimson Demon Clan and all of your young children are genetically guaranteed arch-wizards- extends into actual farming.) For that matter, we think the entire war with successions of Devil Kings is also rooted in "stuff Aqua did and has conveniently forgotten about so she doesn't have to acknowledge any responsibility". One of this series' comedic strengths is how hard it plays on the concept of karma: every single bit of self-centeredness or pettiness shown by any of the main characters is guaranteed to in some way make their lives worst down the line, and their heroism is found not in being "good people" to begin with but in eventually stepping forward to clean up their own messes.
Do you should watch "KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!" Before season 3. It story about megumin. It time line happen before konosuba ep 1.
What about the Megumin spinoff? It's a good follow-up to the movie because you get to see more of the Crimson Demons and what they're like. Also it's more into Megumin's backstory and all. I recommend watching that before S3. But I'm just one guy, idk what your Patreon or Discord have been saying. It'd be a shame of they completely forgot about the Megumin spinoff.
Btw if you dint know Konosuba has a precuel that its actually a whole ass anime called *sentouin hakenshimasu* its writhe by the same autor and you can enjoy a more black humor and a story that it is the same or better than Konosuba
But it is unfinished becouse at some point the autor dint like where the serie was going so he drop off the novel and strat a new one(Konosuba) and both animes shares a lot of common things such names, Characters, humor and personalitys.
It seems strange to me that when people see konosuba for the first time, they think that Kazuma is going to stay with Darkness, I mean because of Kazuma's attitudes, well, it's normal to think that, but, the relationship between Kazuma and Megumin is very advanced but nothing more than Nobody seems to notice that, I won't say anything else to avoid mentioning spoilers.

That's not entirely correct. It's established in the Megumin spinoff Megumin herself believes her stunted development is due to malnourishment. Her mom Yuiyui however claims it's genetics and that all women on her side of the family were like that. Personally the latter is more likely since Megumin was originally going to the academy with her mom's old uniform and that can only be possible if she were a similar size at the same age.

Honestly, he's pretty tame compared to the novel.
The OVAs are just fanfiction, and the movie had a LOT changed so Kazuma acts a lot worse and the characterization is a bit off. So the movie has fanfiction mixed in as well.

i think an Aqua ship wouldn't really work; i always had a feeling, especially when they were preparing for the journey to the hot springs town, that they were like siblings, sometimes being on the same wavelength and dumb, but most of the time fighting

That was not the first Japanese person who, upon being reincarnated here to "defeat the Devil King", chose an overpowered noncombat ability. We already had the person who wanted to be able to gain experience points without fighting monsters... who is responsible for all the animated flying vegetables because a vegetable's body cannot be worth XP unless it takes somebody's effort to harvest it. (Thus, the RPG concept of kill-farming for the benefit of underleveled characters - the straight version does exist in this setting but is uncommon as it's not normally worth the trouble unless you're the Crimson Demon Clan and all of your young children are genetically guaranteed arch-wizards- extends into actual farming.) For that matter, we think the entire war with successions of Devil Kings is also rooted in "stuff Aqua did and has conveniently forgotten about so she doesn't have to acknowledge any responsibility". One of this series' comedic strengths is how hard it plays on the concept of karma: every single bit of self-centeredness or pettiness shown by any of the main characters is guaranteed to in some way make their lives worst down the line, and their heroism is found not in being "good people" to begin with but in eventually stepping forward to clean up their own messes.

What about the Megumin spinoff? It's a good follow-up to the movie because you get to see more of the Crimson Demons and what they're like. Also it's more into Megumin's backstory and all. I recommend watching that before S3. But I'm just one guy, idk what your Patreon or Discord have been saying. It'd be a shame of they completely forgot about the Megumin spinoff.
Btw if you dint know Konosuba has a precuel that its actually a whole ass anime called *sentouin hakenshimasu* its writhe by the same autor and you can enjoy a more black humor and a story that it is the same or better than Konosuba
But it is unfinished becouse at some point the autor dint like where the serie was going so he drop off the novel and strat a new one(Konosuba) and both animes shares a lot of common things such names, Characters, humor and personalitys.

That's not entirely correct. It's established in the Megumin spinoff Megumin herself believes her stunted development is due to malnourishment. Her mom Yuiyui however claims it's genetics and that all women on her side of the family were like that. Personally the latter is more likely since Megumin was originally going to the academy with her mom's old uniform and that can only be possible if she were a similar size at the same age.

I definitely laughed at the beginning. It's just more Konosuba shenanigans. Nothing to be taken seriously here. Yes, Kazuma's party was just standing there and is useless, that's the whole premise of the show.
