One of my favorite Dionne Warwick Songs, was a big song back in the day, had the 45 single.
There is just something so melancholy but kind of uplifting about this song, she puts so much emotion into it.
Dionne Warwick incomparable. Saw Dionne and Burt Bacharach at Ceasar’s Palace in the late 80’s. A night to remember for sure. She is superb.

@@KennyFame, I just knew they were related. This song, the movie and then the murders were so tragic. I was only 10 but I remember so vividly. I remember when Bobby Kennedy got shot and I was like a toddler. Mom must have put me in front of the tv with a bottle because she had my older brothers to deal with 🤣. I have an excellent memory but it really is a cross to bear 😪😪

I remember the book and the film were both pretty good. Very much of its time, detailing how women were used by Hollywood when they were young and spat out when they were considered too old.
