What a gift - I have loved the recordings for many decades - and now I get to see them -
I found Braff to be one of the most interesting cornetists of the 1970s - and that includes trumpeters. His lines were unpredictable - devoid of unmusical patterns strung together. And Barnes ~~~ so vastly under-appreciated. The way they worked together was magical - like Bix & Tram, Bird & Diz, Cannonball & Nat ~~~

Tsja, gelukkig worden wij hier ook in ons 'gave Nederlandje' met regelmaat verrast op radio en televisie met soortgelijke fantastische jazz muziek. En dat terwijl wij een fantastisch jazz archief hebben.
Zou mijnheer Wilders dan toch gelijk hebben de NPO en consorten stevig te korten?
