People need to understand that the game isn't meant to be beaten in a month, the game is meant to have longevity. Also most people who have been playing since launch are around 35+ and the max level is 65, so theres bound to be a plateau and were hitting it now. The game goes from levelling up characters to focusing on levelling up gear, which takes significantly longer to acquire. Yes, the game does have major difficulty spikes, but I always see it as a challenge. Most of the time simply levelling some gear, or levelling troops in training, can help you beat a particular level. But as most people haven't noticed, if a mission costs 15 stamina and you lose said mission, you only actually lose 3 stamina. The game understands its own difficulty and allows you to try the missions over and over to eventually beat it without crazy penalties. It is meant to be challenging, you have to learn the way the enemies move. Its funny because people complain about games having stupid AI; its almost like people are so used to Gacha games having such dumb AI's that they complain when a game actually has a decent AI. In langrisser the AI is really smart, it'll target characters with low health, it'll target healers over other people, it'll target "allies" in which killed you lose the mission, it'll target characters it knows it can beat, it does follow the basic triangle(horse beats swords etc..) but ultimately its an AI which is smart and honestly refreshing compared to so many Gacha Games. There are inherent flaws such as World Arena match making(that should be a whole other video) and the fact their releasing events with level 60 missions in which no one will be able to beat because its too early, but other then that The game is very very good. And for people saying the game is p2w, aren't all Gacha games? you're always gonna have whales, and you're always gonna have f2p, so to use that as a justification of why the game difficulty spike is too much, is silly. Ultimately the game is meant for you to take your time in acquiring gear, levelling said gear, levelling heros, and levelling troops; its reasonably the same as any other Gacha, so I can't seem to understand why people are complaining -> its almost become where people feel entitled to get what they want in the game, rather then earn it without auto-ing everything. But thanks for the amazing video Koolio!
Where the f people got the idea that slow progression = longevity? Correlation is close to zero. Plenty of games have very fast progression and exist for years and plenty actually die because progression was too slow and boring. (I'm not saying Langrisser is too slow or bad, i just hate this one argument)
I don't think longevity is entirely dependent on the rate of progression. For Langrisser, what I really find enjoyable is the whole package. It's got a story I can really appreciate and makes me interested in the history of the Langrisser franchise. The game mechanics are more fleshed out but I think it still retains simplicity, which is good! I love tactical RPGs, particularly the Fire Emblem franchise. But what sets this apart from the other is the implementation of troops on top of the heroes, which adds a whole other dimension and is very refreshing. I don't care if I am way behind the so-called "top players". I want to enjoy and play this game the way I want to. The difficulty spike is more or less an indicator that it is time to once again pay attention to hero+troop development.
@@0re0n the point I was trying to make is in this game (Langrisser) the whole game is based around you're player level, the missions you can farm, the main story progression, the hero levels, the type of gear you can farm. Vs other games such as FFBE(faster Gacha) which has no correlation between player level and mission activity. You know, maybe using longevity wasn't the best word, but Langrisser is a more unique Gacha game Vs. other(as you say) faster Gacha games -> but these faster Gacha games that you talk about don't typically associate all its content around player level. So back to my point, since Langrisser associates more then 90% of the core game around player level, there needs to be difficulty spikes, and exp plateaus, to allow for "longevity", otherwise if you can go from level 30-40 in 3 days what is the point in grinding level 30 goddess trial if you know in 3 days you can grind SSR gear in level 40 Goddess trial? Looking at a faster Gacha games as an example(FFBE because I've played it) - a character level of 90 vs 150 has very little difference in what content can be done, same goes for a level 40 to 90. You may disagree with me, but I personally do think Langrisser is a little on the slow end and needs to provide its players with more stamina, but for you to tell me that speeding up player level progression will increase "longevity" in this particular Gacha game(Langrisser) is a joke, as explained because 90% or more of the core game is associated with player level. If everyone could rush to max level 65 and grind SSR gear all day, everyone would have max builds, and the game would get stale after a month.
the thing is..the event quest appears on map scales with our current level..the often you clear daily mission the faster you level up, but at that moment you realize the quest level become so hard because you only login everyday to do daily missions..it slaps you in the face for not farming gears and upgrades lol
The thing that annoyed me is I started a bit after the pack, so I'm a bit behind the pack on levels. This was a problem, since the event that just came out requires you to have account level 30 to participate at all, below that and you can't run the maps, and the event gives an SSR hero (in addition to plenty of other neat stuff), so if you started a bit late and didn't really hustle on leveling, you're going to miss the event entirely. I only just got lvl 30 today, and running the event at actual minimum level is rough, I have to hope the other 2 people on my team are a couple levels higher, or there's a good chance of failure. It would've been nice if the event had a lower entry bracket, which less points given etc, so that people can at least start working on those points while catching up.
@@kedolan4992 the event goes till end of the month. you can farm the free SRR on one day if you want to. even if you start next week, there is enough time to participate the event.
@@kedolan4992 crystals you get enough. Atm XP > pulls, at least if you got a good faction team. Everybody got ~200 pulls and 2-3 free SSR. You need to have very bad luck to not hit a faction.
No, unless you whale, you will, at best, be around the recommended level of the next stages if you've done every other content that is at or below your level. When you are at or below the recommended level of a stage, those stages can be really hard, as the enemies will ALWAYS have quite significantly higher stats than you (again, unless you whale). This is especially true once very 5 levels, the ATK difference between a level 39 and level 40 boss can be 150-200 more ATK, which is probably 150-200 more ATK than your SSRs who are the same level. Here are some of my advice: 1) Do team battles. This game really wants to force you to do team battles so team battles gives enormous benefits. Not only do team battles cost less bread (which is the most important resource cuz it translates to exp and other resources), but you also get extra rewards. That extra bread will go a long way to netting you extra levels. 2) Upgrade your equipment. Equipment in this game is, in some ways, more important than characters. The difference between an SR and an SSR is only so much, especially in terms of stats and especially since SR are easier to upgrade Star Level. Also, once you've already have a your team with their Faction Buff, you are unlikely to make much changes to the team. Equipment though, can be upgraded almost indefinitely, is not restricted by Party Level, and can be used by multiple characters. I think the game expected people to do lots of Equipment Rolls and constantly forge their equipment, which is why the difficulty spikes so hard, but most F2P don't. The main reason why Whales have such ridiculous stats is probably more due to their equipment levels than their Star Levels. Upgrade those SR equipment, don't "save" for SSR. Not only are SSR rare so you're gonna be waiting forever, but SSR don't use the same material anyways. The lower rarity enchants are abundant so enchant your gears, every little bit helps. 3) Don't go gun-blazing into enemy lines like you're a whale, cuz you're not. You will actually have to play this game the way it was meant to be played, strategically. You won't get all the "Feats" but who cares, you can get those later. Sometimes the bosses will be just too sturdy and one shot ANYBODY, even with class advantage and buffs/debuffs on, nothing you can do but go back to grinding more levels.
I agree.People forgot about the gear portion :v. The difference between a lvl 10 and lvl 30 sr gear is around 30-ish difference in stats, not to mention the gap between level 10 and lvl 30 ssr gear is way higher =3=. What's more, it's more of the whales are already done farming characters and are using those extra shards to spam/roll for ssr upgrade gear hence their progression is way faster. As a f2p, unfortunately. It's more of the starters and free characters' kit do not really synergy too well (sides greiner) till they have their final class unlocked hence it's better to roll for characters then equipment. Hence progression will be a bit slower. But then again, at your 40s, with one copy of the SSR/SR and gate of fate, one can get 4 shards per day for a character hence getting the unit to 6* in around 3 months. So at that point, gear farming would be the goal by then :v.
yeah this game is actually REALLY F2P friendly at least at this stage, cuz you only have to get most SSR and even SR heros ONCE then u just grind those gate of fates to unlock the stars, the most unforgiving part for F2P players is actually the moonstones cuz u get like 1/2 per month right now and 5/6 at most at lvl 40s if u've done a lot of class mastery related quests, but currently this reallllly limits ppl from testing out different class paths.
@@louvel407 If you have someone who can use blizzard, that will slow them down a bit and get some damage in. Then your spear unit will clean up the rest. I'm barely L.40 but already got all of hard time rift ch3. done at 3 stars. You got to use every advantage you have at your disposal, be it trees, movement restrictions, etc.
just for clarification: tiaris mass resist does not stack with faction buff since it's not a unique buff, unlike her atk blessing buff which does, and generally you should be running that on her in the first place, so getting unicorn on tiaris is pretty much a waste of runestone unless you want extra stats on her
saw the vid and was thinking that this guys has no clue what he talks about... mdef aura also does not stack (the benefit here is the immunity but no the mdef itself). in general no good builds to see in the vid. Then he talks about attack support of Liffany... This buff stacks with faction buff.
The only thing that I seem to have problems with is the daily event mission. Everything is always your level but he units in there seem to be max gear and perks
Yeah, definitely true. There's alot of stuff to do in this game and it all contributes to you getting stronger. It's like...it's a normal video game and not a mobile title! The irony where Matthew and Greinier comment that "this is a mobile game, not a AAA title!!" and it doubles as a hint from the devs that you shouldn't be playing this game like you would other mobile games. :3c
Any time ive lost a battle, i just do other content for a bit, maybe lvl up once, then go try again and it’s relatively easy. The only fights ive had to try multiple times have been the fights with “gimicks”, like the one with the brothers who have 1000 def on one, and 1000 mdef on the other, or the one where the wizard kills your entire team on turn 3. The regular fights are pretty simple...and if you lose, do something else and try again later.
I hit a wall with most Time Rift 4 events. I spent too much time/stamina on the Bozel event. Not to mention the stress from having people under lvl 35 putting on Auto. I really hate those people...
From the beginning of the game I used the main characters all the time and I didn’t summon any of the banners and I'm happy with that and clearing both stories and time rift with main characters 🙃😋☺️😉
The main characters are all solid...and even if you pull better heroes, you can still use 1-2 of them. Especially Almeda, if you have a fight where theres a lot of demons, or if you need a second healer. Making Matthew a Shadow is also a way to keep using him. Hes easily replacable in his other roles, but holds his own as a Shadow. Hes not the best assassin type, but hes not bad at all, and he makes up for his shortcomings by working with a few large factions. Its easy to fit him into a team. It also helps that both he and Grenier have their own faction buffs. It seems like the devs wanted to make the story characters somewhat viable on purpose. It would be stupid if the main characters ended up being worthless. On another note, I recently started another account and im only using R quality units (with one faction buffer). Its suprising how viable some R units are. Most gacha games, the difference between SSR and R is night and day. Not here, some Rs are as good if not better than some SRs. Lewin is an awesome R unit, Laird is a budget Leon. He does great damage like Leon, his only shortcoming is that he cant move after attacking like Leon, so cant hit and run. Jessica is a very good mage, plus she can also heal, and has teleport. Lester is also very useful with his chain hook.
@@fjeezy1305 with same troop type, same level, same star, same equipment, SSR heros still have an average of 1-5% higher for each type of stats, and SSR heros in general can master one more class than R heros so that's like a bit more stats. But these are DEFINITELY very acceptable differences considering the drop rate of SSR vs R units in summoning. on a side note, Jessica isn't just good she's AMAZING lol basically at 100% HP, she's basically the best single-target damage mage this game offers right now on NA servers. All the SSR mages are more for AOE/utility+damage strats, and aint nobody got time to wait for hein to gain knowledge LOL
I'm currently account lvl 42, at Salrath. I think what most people do is that they are rushing the game. Take your time, most specially put more focus on strengthening your troops, which the biggest appeal for me anyway is the co-op mode, specially when doing the lvl 45 gyms.
I think is because the faction buff. When you get higher level faction buff is kinda like a must need. And trying to get a faction buffer that can match your team is hard. I did 9 x 10 reroll and got 1 ssr. If only faction buff isn’t so important later on then I think is fine. Also the event mission need to stop scaling on your level cuz some people just wanna go on and sweep then log off. Not everyone can actually “play” the game everyday. When you sweep too much and got too high leveler without grinding some real gear, event quest become also unbeatable.
As for why this game is more P2W than many other games, it is because the benefits of having a powerful team is much more beneficial. In other games, yes, whales will have overpowered teams but it is more for bragging rights. In this game, there's the difficulty spikes, arena rewards, the ridiculously hard "Timeless Trail," etc. Other games have "Challenge Quests" as well but those are more like one-time thing, where once you are strong enough you can clear it and get the reward and that's it. Whales won't benefit any more than casuals as long as you both eventually clear it. In this game though, the sooner you can clear these harder contents, the better, cuz they are daily/weekly events that will continuing reward you. This could all be stomachable if Arena rewards weren't so better in this game compare to other games but they are. The reason why paying in Mobile games tend to be far less of an issue than in MMO is because mobile games tend to have almost no competition with other players compared to MMOs. This is not just PvP, PvE as well. This game also like to incentivize people do team battles and when F2P players see just how much more overpowered a whale is when doing team battles, this can reinforce the saltiness as well. I've seen some seriously overpowered whales in Team Battles and while I don't tend to care unless it's PvP, I am sure there are many who do care, ESPECIALLY since they know it translates to PvP.
Thats fine but you didn’t really touch on the difficulty cliff. You can do a map your level and march through unscratched, then try one 2 lvls up and watch your tank get one shot. There seems to be vastly too much side progression, as you can see in pvp as even similiar levels can be over a 1k or more power difference based on how much they funneled. Thats fine for me, im going to play a long time and ill stay out of the arena til a team is complete, but it seems they balanced their pve mob stats around not just level but all the other many side level ups... troops, bonds, faction buffs, etc. So hitting a new level up, you may be still a day or two farming behind their “lvl x” challenge preset. Not to mention trying to do the lvl 30 demon blood stage as a fresh 30. That was just sadistic
Power spike start at lvl35 and every 5 lvl after that. Lvl35: rank up all eq to 3* and max lvl it. Start use faction buff Lvl40: rank up all eq to 4* and max lvl it. Tier3 troops make it much easier.
I think there is a P2 Accelerate or Reduce Difficulty element. All games with premium currency have that element. ***Spoiler Alert*** Games need to make money, especially if they are going to be worth playing. That being said, I have spent less than $5 on this game. I have 5 of 12 SSR characters currently available, and if I grind the side missions like Koolio mentions, I have been able to keep pace up to level 30 so far. Maybe the wall is coming, and I will change my tune. More likely I will just have to shift my priority and grinding.
A lot of ppl don't seem to realize that mobile games are free and they have to make money somehow. However you don't need to spend. I'm still F2P I pulled 4 SSRs.
Level 38 and have been playing since launch. Only trouble I have had is transition period between tier 2 and tier 3 classes around level 35. Doing Time Rift and Story at that time is pretty hard because you need the materials to upgrade but you can't get them or sweep b/c you're getting washed by ballistas and ranged units. Other than that, I've been able to progress smoothly. On an unrelated note, can I have your Liffany?
please also make a SR/R guide, I know most of this units and how broken they are through lots of threads already lol, but not everyone are as lucky as you.. >_
I'm still working at my faction buff class, I'm running a single faction buff which is strategist ( altemuller, Leon, vargas, Imelda ) and Liana off faction as healer. I can branch out origin of light with Freya too, but do you think it's better to focus on 1 faction at early game, before we branch out?
The damage of thorn is dealt within the battle. Since thorn is triggered at the start of the battle Freya deals the 50% damage return during the combat. I got the same build of Freya & Bernhardt without knowing this channel. Pretty funny.
the main problem on todays games is that developers tends to give the players an easy smooth progress at the early game then give a high power spike at mid game..with that, players tends to think that they can face the chapters/stages with ease but then be blocked by an enemy that is way over the recommended power..some players forget that these types or ANY RPG game requires grinding in order to be prepared..that is why some players find the game hard at a certain point and some quits the game entirely..
if a unit dies on a map event, do we lose one of the prizes shown just before we enter a battle? Sometimes when i do the map event for trinity crystals and a trinity voucher, sometimes i dont get the voucher.
Do Fusion/Faction buffs stack? I got Altemuller and am going down his general tree for the strategist buff since i use Imelda and Vargas regularly. I got Liana on heals and am looking for a 5th. I was considering Lance since he has an Empire buff and 4 people are empire. The strategist buff also affects him as well if I recall. Just got to know if it stacks.
no the buffs dont stack they overwrite eachother. So when building a team for a certain faction that happens to have more than 1 buff read the last few lines to see what else they give. Some are better than others.
Which team should I go 1) leon, ledin, elwyn, cherrie and liana Or 2) ledin, luna, lana, liana, cherrie Or 3) ledin, elwyn, liana, altemuller and leon Thx
Rift map 3 elite stage and stage 4 are hard to 3 star to sweep lol. And without those can't upgrade equips past 4stars. Not to mention ticks starting on stage 20 or 21 in story lol. Blood sonya does hella d@mg with kill stacks . I'd put those ssr you have on freya on a calvary or flyer damg unit.
I just love the difficulty of this Game ! It is a gacha Game but Doesnt feel like it, I Played a lot of Games like that before and the Auto mode was my best friend, but in this Game im really enjoying Playing it all out! If people don’t like it Go play Fire emblem Heroes xD it is such a downgrade compared to langrisser.
I like Fire Emblem games but the Mobile ver. Is a completely SHIT downloaded the game and after tried the game for very few days I uninstalled that shit
@@alanshin6316 I played FEH Day one when it came out. I got bored after 4-5 months plus I hated the IV system. Compared to this it just lacks in all areas. Ofc actual fire emblem is great I'm just talking the mobile game. Lyn is my Waifu.
I don't think I feel the need to compare apples and oranges, but I love fruit. Anyways, I just find Langrisser's hero+troop mechanic intriguing. That's how wars work, not some one on one shenanigans while all other combatants watch.
CrashAriMP5N2O I wish they could have used the Hero with 1-6 individual soldier units like in the console Langrisser games, but i imagine the scale would be too much for a mobile game. At least the troop idea is still sorta there. Its not like FE where a hero with 1hp still hits as hard as he would with max hp. In Langrisser (console and mobile) if you have less than full hp, you do less damage. Definitely more realistic. It adds a different wrinkle to the gameplay, havent seen anything like it in any other SRPG. I do miss the individual units of soldiers though, which in turn removed “command range”. Each hero gives a bonus to soldier units who are within 3-5 tiles of the commander, the range depended on the hero type (or extended with items). Keeping your soldiers in range, or sending them out of range to perform a critical task in an emergency is lost in the mobile version. I also liked being able to mix soldier types ...like in Langrisser 2, i would have say, Elwin use 3 Infantry units, 2 pikemen, and one cavalry. I miss that flexibility, but the mobile version is still a great game though, probably the best mobile SRPG out there.
personally i think people are grinding wrong. everything in this game is controlled by your account level. if you hit a wall do things that are easy that benefit you the most. are your heroes too well do the xp quest you can auto. need better army work them out in the gym. no matter what you do your account levels based on how much stamina you use. there is zero benefit ìn doing the hardest stuff. for example farming xp cost 20 stamina but the difficulty gives you greater rewards. you can do a level 10 or level 40 your account still only gets 20 xp. just getting ready stuff until your account goes up and then it will eventually get easy. just decide what you need to focus on and do that at an easy auto way until you move up. i also think that's makes this pay to win since you can buy stamina with real money which means you are going to level up faster without a doubt.
everything scales with your level except the time rift and story as well as the dungeons where you can choose. No one goes back to farm because you dont really get anything decent until lvl 30 if not lvl 35 where you get way more sr gear to boost if you can find someone who can carry you through lvl 35 stages. I see tons of lvl 40-48 players struggle with lvl 35 content and dungeons even with faction buffs. Espeically if theyre carrying other players who die too early. The game difficulty spike is extremely harsh at different set points and then farming is almost a waste because the 200 + 120 bread you get disappears in almost no time especially if youre upgrading units having to farm rifts etc.
@@yulfine1688 they have to be doing something wrong if they are 5 plus levels and still struggle. it's probably the solders they are extremely underrated
@@SynysterEddy_ no you don't not having gear maxed at your lvl or enchants or solider maxed. Lvl 35 bosses stats are tremendously high. It's not easy or even basic. The lvl 35+ bosses are harsh and the enemies as well. Dragon especially

This game is not pay to win its just very grindy just like the fire emblem games on 3ds. That why I love this game so much. It rewards you for you time spent and doesn't just hand you everything. If your having trouble with summon luck especially as free to play wait for banners of the characters you want and just keep grinding resources. One last thing plan ahead look at the board look where enemies can go look where you team can corner some or set your team in a way you only take one to two atks a turn. You do a these and keep up the grind you will get a team your proud of.
man if you remove the attack buff from tiaris you will be playing the game wrong. you need to read the description, this buff is better than her passive, you dont realise this cause you have dieharte as an assassin and you attack from 2nd block, this buff stacks with faction buffs, and its not about the damage only which is double bonus than liffanys , its about the damage reduction 50% less damage received is HUGE. personally i use this on leon or cherie since i am going glory and they one shot anything while being able to defend the next turn if they cant leave a fight. tiaris is broken alright...
Dude, I just started the game, I'm rank 19 with 3 SSR, Luna, Lana & Liana. Do you think Princess is a valid faction to raise for now and for late game? every time I see info about factions the princess one gets left behind :c
I have gone for Princess faction myself simply because I got so many members on it and are good ones too like Chris and Liana. I just think if you don't neglect any source of power in the game, you should be fine. More than character levels and class progressions, I'm talking about equipment, enchantment, troop training, and bond powers. Resources become really scarce for the later stages of powering up your characters and the last thing you want to do is to spread it even more thinly by building up another faction from the ground up. Now I'm not against multi-faction but I recommend doing only one or two characters for your side faction but all other resources should be spent keeping your main faction strong relative to your progress.
Princess factions is considered God tier for late game PVE. You pretty much got all their core units barring Tiaris, but you should be able to get her on a Focus Banner. Luna's faction buff is great for Timeless trials due to the fixed damage it does; not to mention she is the best archer in the game. Get/ develop Freya as main tank and; Liana as Healer, Lana and Luna as Magical and Physical DPS (Cherie too if you can her through her event or through summoning) and you have a free slot for whatever unit you might need to round up your team according to the map in question; Christ is great if you want some dps while keeping utility. Also, you might want to develop some R units like Leticia, Jessica (and even Lester) due to their utility as well.
@@SACKBOY123432 I got Leon on as my first SSR. I since pulled 3 more SSRs I tried to get Ledin or Liana prob ten multis I did and I haven't pulled a SSR. Yet I got Muller on his banner in two multis. @@RasenRendanX I've only pulled 1 SSR and it was Ledin on Leon's banner. I pulled over 200 times without Leon. I get so pissed when I see other people get good stuff. 1 SSR in over 200 pulls is shit. Ledin is awesome but my target was Leon and it sucks. I almost got 5 star on some rares now lol.
I can see why making Dieharte an assassin is good for his faction buff, but I dont see why it is good to keep him there. Maybe i am doing something wrong, but assassins seem fairly weak in this game. He often gets killed fast if attacking another ranged unit and cant reliably one shot a melee opponent. So what is the benefit of using D as an assassin (or any other unit as one)?
assassins are really pvp oriented and are end game heroes. Gearing them is fairly difficult as well. Best pvp faction is of the them empires or dark faction basically. They seem to be the most pvp oriented.
honestly check out your gear and your enchants those are the most important of all things. Spend only 100 crystals a day for energy as that is most efficient if you can afford that. Once again having at lvl 30-35 all sr or ssr gear should be lvl 30. Match your gear to your level the best you can. From there only sr and ssr enchants. Make sure you check what enchants work best with different characters as well as the stats you get from them. Sometimes youll need to reroll enchants on one piece of gear often to get the recommended and or best stats. That's what will help you most regardless of ssrs or not. Ssrs help quite a bit however with the better stats and bonuses and skills they have. Doesn't mean some srs are complete beasts that can be considered better than some ssrs.
At hero stats, there are (att, def, int, mdef, skill), what is the different a hero with skill 60 compare to a hero with skill 110, is the skill do physical damage same as att?
You sure love Liffany huh? Liffany is pretty bad, though I guess she could be better than Lana simply due to Lana's horrible factions. Still, as powerful as Faction Buffs are, Lana's kit is just so much more powerful that it's hard to say. I think Elwin is better than the Emperor, especially with Tiaris, but they are interchangeable enough. As for Liana vs Tiaris, while Tiaris' Healing Light is absolutely phenomenal, but Liana's "Again" can be absolutely broken if used right, ESPECIALLY in Arena. If I had both, I would just use both since I use Matt's Faction buff anyways. Tiaris does benefit more from Star Level and she is more friendly to non-whale teams.
ledin is considered the best overall tank if you have him as a templar. Stacking mdef and def is fairly easy and he has many skills that basically work in his favor. Vargas is considered the other best tank especially because of his passive. Grenier eh not really and freya isn't bad in most content just useless against bosses.
Not a bad video but I’ve been playing since day one and I gotta say you shouldn’t wait on the ssr gear. You will fall way behind if your not getting your stuff past lvl 20. The ssr gear is harder to forge too because of the element you need to forge with it. Just a comparison your Bernhardt is 2 lvls below mine but mine is sitting at 2313 power to your 1763
True that if I spend the gold and hammers I could really progress my characters, but gold and hammers become really really important later on and if you spend them on SR gear now you will find leveling up SSR gear for higher content extremely difficult
I agree with you man but the ssr gear isn’t as easy to come by as you think. The 40 goddess trial has yet to drop me one, but I feel like that’s been my main grind. Getting hammers and gold is pretty much what I’m always doing lol, but your experience may be different. I didn’t say this but I meant to, but stay informative I liked the video :P
I quit due to being blocked by everything on the map at lvl 32. I get that it's strategic; however, when your team has some decent item builds and still get crushed in two hits; the game becomes really stupid and unenjoyable.
I don't see how this is any different than any other of the hero. Collector GAcha, farming equip, shard system type games, nothing new here, awsome game tho, it's meant to be played everyday for years, been getting more than a level a day, that's alot still and at 40 now
the tactical aspect i guess...most gacha just focus on pretty heroes so players will be pressured to summon...this is the first time im playing a gacha game and i am not hero focused ,instead i appreciate the game mechanics and good content...(btw ive played fgo,e7 etc..)
@@Alfie_personal yea Im loving the game agree with everything you just said, I just was referring to how every game has its really hard parts/ events that are very difficult and I think that people are aggravated because you can't put it on auto play which there accustomed to when they have ssr teams, I love the sweep mechanic for rift and manual grind for gear, also the freedom of alchemy, mithril ore, weapon cnchantmwnts that don't require gold to hold you back as a premium resource, the game balances everything nicrly, also real time pvp sets apart
power creep is underwhelming compared to most other similar games which is good because you actually have to pay attention its not just super simple. Summoners war has horrifc power creepy and heavy p2w elements that quite rapidly ruin the game for most players. Even back in the day without being p2w or spending money f2p was fairly easy until pvp content and then youd only get so far.
Progressing through the main story, you get it around level 33, about chapter 20-22 -> its one of those 30 stamina mini bosses that appear in the "world map"
Which stage that makes people think its hard tho? I only have leon elwin and free dieharte and cherrie as my ssr and only leon elwin constantly on my team i dont even have healer i use the main character healer girl and my lvl is 38 now and all seems good i have already prepared with the material for lvl 40 job upgrade, oh and im totally free to play i havent spend any money on this game
@@boooomerwang i did it with leon elwin vargas chris and almeida, for getting the treasure i swap out vargas for cherie and lure enemy out with leon and i put rock hard enchant on my leon (damage enchant on leon is overkill in my opinion cause he already one hit anyone in this stage except the enemy leon), still unable to finish in 5 turn for the bonus cause the enemy mostly blue so my elwin cant damage them well, but i still need elwin to faction buff chris almeida and cherie
Tiaris is really good at being a support but when doing offensive....she just sucks at doing any damage in fact she hits like a wet noodle against anything that not demon but then again I rather use her as a support then a fighter. In fact she passive is really good like you can combo this with your tanks making them next to unkillable which is just dirty.
@@angelswarz8995 liana and almeda can do decent damage even without being demons but for liana you could be sacrificing better skills almeda though has basically decent dmg skills based on her int anyways as well as her heals.
This game is probably the most p2w mobile game I have EVER played, and I've played a lot. I hate this game with a burning passion. The difficulty and PvP is such that if you don't whale, you're just wasting your time and destroying your sanity. Also, either newer gacha games are getting more and more p2w, or Fate Grand Order is just a rare exception to the rule.
It is pay to win simply due to the fact that p2p players can afford more stamina refreshes, so they can climb higher, faster. Meaning they beat higher level dungeons and gather better gear earlier. Not saying the devs haven't been generous, or that you need SSR's to win, because you really don't. But from a simple leveling and equipment gathering perspective, it's quite p2w.
What koolio said is correct, all gacha games are p2w. They are designed to leech off monies to customers. On hindsight... life itself is a p2w game, but much more shittier.
P2w is presense in any game...gacha game is close to gambling tbh. BUT its only major presense is definitely arena. Which is just one aspect of the game. Other content can be cleared using sr and r character tbh. Proven by chinese server that uses sr and r character only to clear content of game
I mean, in CH server there is people who have beaten the game with a team of Starter Story characters + Freebies (mainly Scott and Lance)'
@@0re0n its not really slow...its been 1 month now since global release and people on my sever at level 45...max cap is 65 i believe?
Don’t forget that leveling up the troops themselves through all the different training options also increases a hero’s power drastically as well.
i know it's pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch new series online ?
the thing is..the event quest appears on map scales with our current level..the often you clear daily mission the faster you level up, but at that moment you realize the quest level become so hard because you only login everyday to do daily missions..it slaps you in the face for not farming gears and upgrades lol
This....is sort of me lol
@@janberger4292 Farming up 20k points in one day is a bit of a tall order without having to dish out some cash on energy refills, I'd think.
Here are some of my advice:
1) Do team battles.
The power spike after level 35 is insane. All the enemies got the T3 class mastery and just destroy you.

It's like...it's a normal video game and not a mobile title!
The irony where Matthew and Greinier comment that "this is a mobile game, not a AAA title!!" and it doubles as a hint from the devs that you shouldn't be playing this game like you would other mobile games. :3c
I want to see you try the timerift 3-6(elite) stage :)

cast magic defense or magic defense support on your lancer.( Liffany or Jessica or the SR hat)
That's very commendable.
The main characters are actually really good. Matthew is still on my main team, and I still use Grenier instead of Ledin on maps with lots of. Cavalry
Lucky you so you can try for better characters now instead of waiting everything trying to get Leon
I love how challenging this game to me, so far I’m doing so good even I didn’t pay any amount of money
Lvling up chars in this game through normal battles seems to take forever. I feel like the only way to level up is to use my exp potions.
There's a event where you can farm potions. Just do that.
You will need to upgrade your SR gear as much as you can until you can replace it with level 50 or 60 SSR gear
Good video bro. Keep em coming!
as soon as I reached level 30 hell opened up
I'm level 39 still moving on well.
I pretty did all you mentionned, once you reach lvl 25 it's basically a level / day. That's fine with me.
I reached that stage since lv17 lol
Start use faction buff
Lvl40: rank up all eq to 4* and max lvl it. Tier3 troops make it much easier.
exactly and even with that you need to play tactically and intelligently especially without certain units or unit types you may be lacking.

Doing Time Rift and Story at that time is pretty hard because you need the materials to upgrade but you can't get them or sweep b/c you're getting washed by ballistas and ranged units. Other than that, I've been able to progress smoothly. On an unrelated note, can I have your Liffany?

I'm still working at my faction buff class, I'm running a single faction buff which is strategist ( altemuller, Leon, vargas, Imelda ) and Liana off faction as healer. I can branch out origin of light with Freya too, but do you think it's better to focus on 1 faction at early game, before we branch out?
I believe the difficulty is just fine. I am lv 39 with average SSR luck (1 per 50 Summons) and f2p.
The damage of thorn is dealt within the battle. Since thorn is triggered at the start of the battle Freya deals the 50% damage return during the combat.
I got the same build of Freya & Bernhardt without knowing this channel. Pretty funny.
You are so lucky to have Tiaris I tried 4 times and didn't get her I'm so salty I have to use Almeda still and I'm lv 43
the main problem on todays games is that developers tends to give the players an easy smooth progress at the early game then give a high power spike at mid game..with that, players tends to think that they can face the chapters/stages with ease but then be blocked by an enemy that is way over the recommended power..some players forget that these types or ANY RPG game requires grinding in order to be prepared..that is why some players find the game hard at a certain point and some quits the game entirely..
if a unit dies on a map event, do we lose one of the prizes shown just before we enter a battle?
Which team should I go
1) leon, ledin, elwyn, cherrie and liana
Or
2) ledin, luna, lana, liana, cherrie
Or
3) ledin, elwyn, liana, altemuller and leon

CrashAriMP5N2O
I wish they could have used the Hero with 1-6 individual soldier units like in the console Langrisser games, but i imagine the scale would be too much for a mobile game.
@@yulfine1688 at this point i don't know what to say the only real road block i have had is dominating in guild wars. everything up till 40 is easy enough and I'm 43. I'm use to grinding and this is real grindy but not hard.
@@SynysterEddy_ either you're trolling or never played or are just lying because you want to sound "cool" pfft
Sophia or Chris? I just pulled Chris & not sure who to use.
man if you remove the attack buff from tiaris you will be playing the game wrong. you need to read the description, this buff is better than her passive, you dont realise this cause you have dieharte as an assassin and you attack from 2nd block, this buff stacks with faction buffs, and its not about the damage only which is double bonus than liffanys , its about the damage reduction 50% less damage received is HUGE. personally i use this on leon or cherie since i am going glory and they one shot anything while being able to defend the next turn if they cant leave a fight. tiaris is broken alright...
@@angelswarz8995 LOL "You should be able to get her". You don't know how many times I summoned for Leon to no avail. The rates in this game sucks.
@@SACKBOY123432 I got Leon on as my first SSR. I since pulled 3 more SSRs
I tried to get Ledin or Liana prob ten multis I did and I haven't pulled a SSR. Yet I got Muller on his banner in two multis.
It's 2% ofc it sucks but that's how it is. It's like that on purpose in any game. Still better than fate grabs order.
I find with his faction buff, and increased crit chance and crit damage I am one shorting most other ranged characters especially mages
assassins are really pvp oriented and are end game heroes. Gearing them is fairly difficult as well. Best pvp faction is of the them empires or dark faction basically. They seem to be the most pvp oriented.
I've hit Lvl 30 today and progress pretty much halted 😅 I have 4k crystals to spend, what should I spend it on, in order to progress? 😕
honestly check out your gear and your enchants those are the most important of all things.
I'm to build my Freya's def up any suggestions
which mode do you get ssr equipment
At hero stats, there are (att, def, int, mdef, skill), what is the different a hero with skill 60 compare to a hero with skill 110, is the skill do physical damage same as att?
Skill increases crit proc. Physical attacks are atk based while magical ones rely on int.
@@bjrabang3111 how much a crit do damage? Is 2x att stats?
have they removed level req missions yet it was annoying.
Who's best tank in game? Freya, vargas, grenier, or ledin? Pls answer my question,
Btw nice video ^^
ledin is considered the best overall tank if you have him as a templar.
@@KoolioGaming when you use alchemy to destroy your Sr gear you'll get alot of your hammers back.
I quit due to being blocked by everything on the map at lvl 32.
I get that it's strategic; however, when your team has some decent item builds and still get crushed in two hits; the game becomes really stupid and unenjoyable.
The game is just garbage rng mobile title #72538292653916373963152354. Don't waste time or worse, money, on this trash.
@@Alfie_personal exactly.
Even back in the day without being p2w or spending money f2p was fairly easy until pvp content and then youd only get so far.
i have only spent 2 dollars on this game i dont agree with anyone saying pay to win.
LMAO I know that most of global players will eventually start to cry because how hard the game become in late game
If you don't put in the work you won't win. Simple.
where did u get the ssr weapon nighthawk
Progressing through the main story, you get it around level 33, about chapter 20-22 -> its one of those 30 stamina mini bosses that appear in the "world map"

@@asch3736 leon is literally the most op unit in the entire game.
I honestly can't think of a dedicated healer that can actually do damage, barring Christ.
@@angelswarz8995 liana and almeda can do decent damage even without being demons but for liana you could be sacrificing better skills almeda though has basically decent dmg skills based on her int anyways as well as her heals.
I'm playing now in 2023 lol
Game is not hard. I just find it stupid that your character lv is cap at whatever your rank lv is.
Freya is bad late game though
It's not hard as epic 7
epic seven is easy
It is pay to win simply due to the fact that p2p players can afford more stamina refreshes, so they can climb higher, faster. Meaning they beat higher level dungeons and gather better gear earlier.
Not saying the devs haven't been generous, or that you need SSR's to win, because you really don't. But from a simple leveling and equipment gathering perspective, it's quite p2w.
That can be said for any mobile game.
It's not p2w.
but this is temporary tho, cause there is upper level limit, even though they will rwach it faster, eventually everyone will reach it
Progress isnt hard its borring
game is trash. #fact
"Slight P2W"... P2W is still P2W regardless of how small the amount is.
What koolio said is correct, all gacha games are p2w. They are designed to leech off monies to customers.
On hindsight... life itself is a p2w game, but much more shittier.
Still less than all other gasha who, if you don't have or use high rarity character, you can't do shit.
P2w is presense in any game...gacha game is close to gambling tbh. BUT its only major presense is definitely arena. Which is just one aspect of the game. Other content can be cleared using sr and r character tbh. Proven by chinese server that uses sr and r character only to clear content of game
You do not have to spend any money. If you are willing to do the work you can clear it without spending.
Its a high quality, free game with no ads...do the knowledge. Of course theres a p2w angle, they didnt make the game as a charity.
