Doesnt straight say the name of the protagonist, but he does reference quite a bit:
1st - when you first meet him with dr.rachel he says "something in your eyes reminds me of an old friend. If you are anything like them you'll be one to watch;
2nd and 3rd - go to 6:29 , when he says friend he means the captain, then watch until 6:48 he references them again.

what gun and bullets are you using for the first mission 0.0 its wicked

I don't remember its name but it's julius's gun. Bullets are the default one that you can unlock, Sharpnel and Op enchanced absorb.
