Even though people complained a lot about this car, I still love it. Yes the nvh is not the best but I think that 1.5L engine sounded good lol. And the car during nightime looks amazing

Nice car. I must say, Aruz is more masculine than X70 for the interior. But for performance, X70 is the winner.

The inside of Perodua Aruz is surprisingly cramped compared to its large exterior size. Feels like Alza is much spacious. Good thing I can say about Aruz is probably the power steering: can't even tell that it's electric power steering if I didn't read the full spec sheet.
Yup I agree. But SUV and MPV definitely have the different in terms of spaciousness which MPV is focusing on.
Mungkin nanti mesti ada kaki modi letak turbo atau kasi 4wd mana tau, hehehehe

Mentaliti sesetengah rakyat Malaysia,kalau kereta tempatan enjin 1.5 underpower laaa...naik sorang dua boleh laa..Tapi kalau brand H dan T,enjin 1.5 NA masuk 7 orang pun okey not bad... berbaloi dgn jenama.. saje2 nk sedapkan hati..
So better go test drive only judge is the most accurate. Sometimes a car power is depends his or her requirement.
I,ve read one,s Vlogger said "orang yg banyak komplen itu ini,bukannya beli pun" regarding this Aruz. So true. It is so subjective depending own usage.

Too many people complained this ARUZ. But if u want to book now, it tooks more than 3 month to get the car.. Hahahah. The complain is just wayang. I have 1, Aruz is amazing for daily drive.

Here in Indonesia we have Daihatsu Terios / Toyota Rush,wich are don’t have aircon flow direction to the foot and front windscreen,what a pity

Hi Anthony Loh you think this car at City drive or highway drive will underpower or not because only 102hp. And this car is why not 105hp and 136nm , why is 102hp and 133nm because Toyota rush is 105hp and 136nm
Normal drive without heavy load should do the job. Any extra load or hard driving could be a bit challenging
I think perodua can suggest for 1.5L + turbo, use the same turbo like Ativa maybe?
Ativa only use 1.0 Turbo

i test drove it when it first came out. initially i was quite impressed with the specs in paper. it turned out to be one of the worst cars i’ve been in - seating position WAY too high, extremely underpowered, horrible NVH, lots of body roll and very uncomposed at highway speeds (only around 80kmh). however this car is targeted lower-income families and that probably won’t matter too much to them.

Yes I've tried to seat at back seat, behind driver my head almost bang to the ceiling of the car. My height is 178cm. Lost the first impression there. Naik bumper hancur kepala

Should i buy HRV or this Aruz ?
I think they are kinda difference. HRV is 5 seaters and on more premium build. So as on pricier side. As for Aruz it is more on utilitarian. It has 7 seats and it has a firmer suspension for heavy load usage.(The ride will not as comfort as HRV). But it is more cheaper.
I've sat in the driver's seat once in the showroom, this car is pretty tall.
2 questions, how much rpm is the car doing while moving at 120km/h, and do the passengers' windows slide down entirely?
I have not tested 120kmh on this car. But 110kmh the rpm is at 3400. As for the passenger windows only front passenger windows able to fully roll down. Both rear windows will not fully roll down.
120kmj speed is about 3.6+Krpm

Comfort and not bumpy when going through pothole and uneven road ?
Expected a bit bumpy on this ride. The setup of this ride is more to cater heavy load. So I guess the suspension has a stiffer setup.
