    Excellent list. I started out with a Joy, because I wanted to make labels. I really did not have any idea what a Cricut could do!! My first few projects were cards - which all came out nice. Your #1 item is crucial. I should have taken the time to learn more before diving in. I recently purchased a Maker 3 and this time, I read articles and watched videos before starting any projects. I am still a beginner, but gaining confidence with each project. My biggest challenge is that I do not have enough people in my life to give all the things I want to make to - LOL. One of the best things I learned was removing the mat from the cardboard or infusible ink transfers ... and to go slow. Your videos have helped me, as did your book.

      I too started with a Joy and bought Maker in less than a year. I still don't all the things it can do :)...

    I use my paper trimmer all the time, so much so that I have dedicated blades for paper, vinyl and infusible ink.

    I really agree with needing a brayer. I finally got one because I saw so many people on the TH-cam videos using it. I really like it. I also use it after applying the vinyl to make sure it is on there really good.

    Angie totally agree with your must haves. I would recommend anyone going to purchase a cricut for the 1st time to buy the machine with a bundle, for $50 more you get all the must-haves with your machine including some materials. I am really pleased with all my cricut tools and accessories.

    Thanks for the info Angie. I have all of the things you mentioned. One thing I thought of and maybe you can help me decide on which one to get, a scoring stylus or wheel. I needed something to score with on a project and I don't have one. Not to familiar with either one so I was hoping you could help. Thanks. P.S. Love all your videos.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I use my scoring stylus 95% of the time. I find the wheel useful for like foiled cardstock or things that crack when they bend.
