I dunno what the commentary for the clip at 26:15 is talking about - the car the trucker hit DIDN'T move into the trucks braking zone (at least, not in the duration of the provided clip), the trucker just totally failed to keep their distance and then react in time to the slowed/stopped traffic ahead. Entirely the truckers fault NOT the driver of the vehicle they struck!!
I think that commentary was probably submitted by the cammer, and they're claiming that if they had been following further back another car would've just cut in front of them, resulting in the same sort of incident. While that does happen sometimes, it's not nearly as common as some truckers would have you believe; and the cammer definitely wasn't paying as much attention as they should've been, regardless of following distance. Tl;Dr, that was probably the cammer trying to excuse the fact that they were following too close
As a truck driver and driver mentor. I hate seeing the never pass a truck on the right side. If your mirrors are set up correctly (and not a long nose) then you should be able to see from the front of your truck all the way down to the back of your trailer while driving in a straight line. Especially if youre sitting in the middle lanes on an interstate. And its not against the law in many states. The dont pass on the right is meant for right turns. When a truck may need more than 1 lane to make a right hand turn safely. Long nose trucks usually dont have hood mirrors and due to their bulkiness there is a large enough blind zone to hid a whole car on the right side.
To the Editor of this channel. It is possible to edit (modify) your "spell checker" to alert you when you type "break" instead of "brake". In fact you can make the spell checker automatically change "break" to "brake" which is OK for this channel since I have watched all of the MegaDrivingSchool postings and never ever seen "break" used correctly. 57. Semi seems to be on 1 lane road. You can see the car in front swerve for a pothole, maybe? The jeep shouldn't have been speeding up the right to pass in the first place.
Eh, see the cut down the middle of that "single" lane? That's a very dangerous and shitty way some places use as the lane markings. Looks like a two lane ramp, pretty common when you go from one interstate highway to another, especially if there's an exit immediately after. The semi swerved to avoid something and shoulder checked the pick-up.
I am a semi driver and I always fear with great fear for these 'blind' people that jump on the interstate without looking or change lanes and hard break right in front of you.
No 19:20 honestly, it is hard to see this accident as anything other than 100% Jeep fault or 75% jeep 25% semi, because the lane looks as if it's a merge lane with only ONE defined lane, which means passing is not allowed, ergo the WHITE JEEP should be taking the fall for speeding + passing in a non-passing zone, or passing in a merge lane. Yes, the semi wasn't paying attention to his sides, because you should not have to watch beside you in a No-Passing-Zone. Look at all the other cars with NO ONE ELSE beside them.
yeah I worked in a safety department for a trucking company. I would call it 100% jeep's fault but my bosses would force me to call it a preventable accident for the truck driver, meaning that it was not his fault but he should've been able to prevent it lol like you said though that definitely looked like one lane, not 2
22:50 If i see a hard stop coming up on an interstate, i always flash my hazards to give a heads up to traffic behind me, especially if there are semis approaching from the rear. Slow down in bad weather, and watch as far ahead as you can to plan for the unexpected. That truck driver should have seen the multiple brake lights ahead to give him a clue at the very least.
After watching many years of car vs semi, I've come to the conclusion that if the 4 wheeler is on camera intentionally raging against the semi, they should be forced to learn, obtain and drive a semi for 2 years or have their license suspended for life!
#13 trucker was at fault for not making sure the lane was clear before merging. Blamed little car for being in "blindspot". Nah check your mirrors. Trucks have sensors to say if something is in their blindspot. Trucker at fault 100%
no, not true. Maybe some truck have sensors? But you're correct. If a little car is in the blind spot it's still the trucker who should have noticed (him getting there).

Is that worth you sitting in a jail cell? And don't take the coward's excuse and say "well I just wouldn't lie."
26:25 What you say is very true but does not apply to this video. 100% Semi's fault
Yeah right car driver
As a Truckers Wife of an OTR Owner/Operator, these videos always makes me worry.
Unique commentary is right. I have never seen the English language butchered so badly.
Thank God for video camera's most people would try to lie out of it
#24, what a way to try and blame the victim, shame on you!
Hey there I just watched your video,
Number 42 on your list took place in Bella vista, AR.
I live and work real close to this intersection!
There are only two Casey’s gas stations in Bella vista and this is right in front of one of them if you want to look for it!
That moment when gravity and overconfidence team up for a lesson no one asked for.
@@MommyKhaos I looked at it several times and am still unsure if this is 1 or 2 lanes (I thought one).
I'm not a semi driver but I can't believe there's that many people that disrespect the weight and size of those things
I am a semi driver and I always fear with great fear for these 'blind' people that jump on the interstate without looking or change lanes and hard break right in front of you.
I'm going to say this That red light is not a suggestion It means S-T-O-P!!!
Number 17 - what’s the call: slow down or get off the road and wait until weather clears up
#22... "playing chicken" is when two cars speed at each other, head-on and the first one to turn the wheel is labeled the "chicken"
Js...
4 wheelers and flip floppers, the two biggest threats to our safety on the roads.
Seeing drivers pit maneuvering themselves is always entertaining considering how cops always have a very difficult time pitting cars.
2. Always give a lane of space when you see traffic stacking up like this or slow way down, left lane prohibition or not.
All I'm seeing is aggressive truck drivers! Charges pending!😂
If that’s all you see then you should probably turn in your license.
Yo veo que en el país que sea no faltan personas distraídas e inprudentes ocasionando percances. 😅😅😅
Courtesy doesn't exist in the US. Horn and mirrors also are none existent. 80% of these accidents were preventable.
And most can't find a brake pedal.
Always always give the semi all the lanes during a turn.
I would call it 100% jeep's fault but my bosses would force me to call it a preventable accident for the truck driver, meaning that it was not his fault but he should've been able to prevent it lol
like you said though that definitely looked like one lane, not 2
Lying to police about an accident should be a felony
22:50 If i see a hard stop coming up on an interstate, i always flash my hazards to give a heads up to traffic behind me, especially if there are semis approaching from the rear. Slow down in bad weather, and watch as far ahead as you can to plan for the unexpected. That truck driver should have seen the multiple brake lights ahead to give him a clue at the very least.
😂why you called that semi?😂😂
Muy interesante los herrores que cometen los conductores 🤔
9:35 i was looking at the carmex and floss 😅😂😅
At 4:49 was the truckers fault, he didn't stop at red light
I don't understand why the trucker said "Making lighter vehicles does not help in a situation like this" Is it the car company's fault? 4:10
Blown tires are scary!
Just watched this....BP is up 20 points.
Flat bed at 10min 50sec said oops that's not my exit!
Man the 17:10 & the 25:19 are the two biggest reasons why I don’t miss living in the lower 48’s anymore a lot of you and I mean alot of you have ZERO AWARENESS &😅 ABSOLUTELY NO DRIVING SKILLS you just turn your vehicles on and get stuck on stupid but there are some damn good drivers out there and I salute you 🥰
