Dr sir what are the chances of ligaments injury ,nerve injury ,tendons injury ,blood vessel injury, misalignment of implant ,bone breaking or implant breaking during surgery of knee,soft tissue problem and infection and loosening of implant due to cement erosion after surgery .Plz do reply as I am much much afraid of TKR .Is there any technique to avoid these totally ? What is the price of Merill Gold implant of knee is it local ?is it the best for metal allergic patients ?
these all complications are rare. knee replacement surgery is safe and rewarding. I have not seen any of them in last 500 knees. GOLD KNEE has titaneum neobium nitride coating which gives golden hue to the implant. its not made up of gold. it has no proven benefit over routine titaneum or cobalt chromium implants except that its less prone to cause allergy in those who have allergy to metal or nickle or jewelry. two indian companies max and biored make gold knees. I have not herd of any standard imported company that makes gold knee.

Try ACL exercises. U will be fine if tear involves less then 50% fibers. See our video of exercises after ACL SURGERY

Sir. I live in Belgaum Karnataka and resently I have under gone my knee replacement in my city at KLE hospital, It is third week everything is ok, But what I noticed is the implants make the noise as before my bones is to do. My question is it is normal and slowly it be ok.

Tendocare has no proven role in ligament healing. Stop it. सही सर्जरी के बाद आप चलने की प्रैक्टिस करे । एक महीने मैं सही चलने लगेंगे

तो सिर मेने कल प्लास्टर कटवाया था आज मेने गरम पट्टी बंधी है तो आप मुझे ये बताओ की minur fracture अब ठीक हो गाय होगा या मुझे दोबारा प्लास्टर करवाना पड़ेगा
