      Means a lot, thank you! I had been making videos on my other channel (youtube.com/@kallaway) but was struggling to grow because the videos were't focused and targeted around a single audience profile. This channel will be laser focused on marketing and content strategy so hopefully it has an easier time growing!

      Yeah had to make a new account. Realized that TH-cam rewards tight audience targeting. My main account was trying to hunt for 4 different audience types (tech, lifestyle, entrepreneur, marketing/content). This meant that any video I posted was not matching the previous audience and they were all being throttled. Didn’t want to have to start over but made sense

    Now my question this video is for people who have established businesses and ahead in their career. What would be the place for those who are early in their career specifically Gen Z we are learning and just entering the workforce, the goal for us is to build meaningful connections that will take us ahead in our career, how would that go with Linkedin content?

    • @kallawaymarketing
      @kallawaymarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here’s how I think about it:
      0-2 years of experience: talk about things happening in your industry with your take as to how it would impact Gen Z
      2-5 years: talk about the skill you’ve learned in your first two years for people that are starting out in year 0
      5-8 years: talk about expertise in whatever skill you’ve built in the first 5+ years
      Etc.
      The common denominator is that you need to compound knowledge around a skill that people actually want. If you do this, you’ll be set. If you aren’t doing this, stop what you’re doing and start doing this immediately

    Does it have to be vertical or will landscape/square format videos work? What is the maximum video length?

    • @kallawaymarketing
      @kallawaymarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I need to check on this one, but I’m pretty sure it needs to be the 9:16 size for them to add it to the TikTok style feed. If you upload other video types, I think it will funnel into the main feed only

    Great video! I miss You tube in 2010. Can you make faceless videos about business on LinkedIn?

    • @kallawaymarketing
      @kallawaymarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think so, I think faceless content works for any niche. The reason I haven't done it yet is because there is no brand value compounding. You have the faceless channel as a cash vehicle but the minute you stop posting, you lose the brand value

      Appreciate you 🫡 I shoot these on a Sony A7iii with 35mm 1.4, but the key is the combo of a large diffusion light surface area (I use Aputure 300x + lightDome II). You don’t need a light this expensive or powerful but wide light dome and a light that can go bicolor is key. And then the other thing is having dark walls (painted or I use Wood Veneer Hub panels), which “eat” the spillover light and create mood. If you have these two things (big light diffusion and dark walls), you can achieve this with most 4K cameras

    Does the same reach apply if the video is being posted from a company LN page? I wanna post on LinkedIn and am more than willing to post but just not from my personal linkedin page... It's skawwyy 😔

    • @kallawaymarketing
      @kallawaymarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think personal vs brand page would impact the initial reach, but the way you get compounding growth from content is from shares...and people tend to share company content less than individual content. You could try making a second linkedin profile with an alias name and a human picture. Still looks like a person but protects your personal name

    • @kallawaymarketing
      @kallawaymarketing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd recommend personal...people follow people more than they follow brands. I also am not sure if they've built the shorts feed to ingest videos posted from a company page.
      Post from your personal but just @mention your brand page in the description
