IMMEDIATELY subbed, once I saw the Canon XF605 in the hands of a skilled videographer. I will use your videos as tutorials for when I acquire my own 605 this year. Have been filming trains for over 30 years with Sony, but now time to get into 4K with a dedicated camcorder. Chose the 605 because no fear of overheating like DSLR type cameras, and full size XLR jacks, among other reasons.

@@thehogfat I bought an Imac last year. Edit with Final Cut Pro X. Still learning all it can do. I retired in 2020 at age 66, in hope of railfanning fulltime and creating a YT channel like others have done. No channel yet, but plenty of older footage to put up. It was time to enter the 4K field, so liked the xf605 because it can handle several codecs. Wish it had a 20x zoom like my older Sony, but your work shows it is plenty long.

Really nicely done. But the enhancement software seems to struggle a bit at 6:33. Never mind that, I love it.

The tape was faulty Stephen and had a line appear every so often at the top of the screen.
