Thank you Ally! Correcting Michael Oliver and Darren Englands errors should not fall under the radar. Its wrong for PGMOL and those involved to put the spotlight on the fans/pundits reaction to the ref/VAR disgraceful decision without their own errors not being addressed. Mikel is only human. The media are continually questioning why he/Arsenal arent winning trophies when poor ref/decisions frequently happen in their games. So i dont blame Mikel for his frustration.

Maybe because most matches up to this season Man City have kept the ball most of the matches, here's a stat, since January 2015 to January 2025 Arsenal have had 32 red cards, Man City 16, Liverpool 17, maybe Arsenal players are dirtier than other teams.

@RushfanUK Or maybe some referees are more likely to give Arsenal red cards huh Einstein? Why didn't he send off Kovacic for two red card offences against Arsenal? Didn't want to break up the flow of the game? 🎈

@@RushfanUK time to remove those sky blue tinted glasses my friend. It is not simply a case of one teams players being more dirty than others mate, the main problem for many is that Oliver sends off the lad over the weekend, for what is now proven to be a wrong decision, yet when Doku tries to remove Mccallisters lungs with his studs nothing was done. Southgate, Saka, Sancho, and Rashford all received abuse online and it was very prominent; the BBC reported on it, there was clear evidence.

If such a lack of interest persists, we may well find out that fear of threats is the only thing that might be keeping referees honest- how perverse and wrong would that be? I am convinced that something like a betting system lies behind PGMOL and VAR behaviour. I believe an investigation is vital to the integrity of the game because no club knows they will actually be treated fairly.

The same referee was in charge during the Liverpool / Man City game where Jeremy Doku , studs up, kicked Mac Alister in the chest and wasn't even booked....A photo of that incident was apparently shown as an example of dangerous play, but also shows a clear bias in favor of Manchester City who Oliver has never given a red card to.

It was said on another channel that the death threat was levelled at Oliver after the Liverpool vs Utd game. Arsenal have been attached with the subsequent abuse. All is wrong, but then again so was Oliver. The everyone makes mistakes does not work as PGMOL and Oliver have not admitted any mistakes.

Even as a non Arsenal fan what Arsene Wenger said in 2017 about the english referee's is right the referee's in this country think they're all untouchable and their has been no improvement to this day. We all use to love watching highlight matches on Motd but even that is hard to watch because now all we ever watch are the pundits every week discussing about the level of incompentance of the PGMOL's and how BAD the VAR is

That is a lot worse in my opinion.

Stop comparing when players or coaches make a mistake to when a referee does. It is not on the same planet. Coaches and players get 1 chance in real time to do everything perfect. Referees, get the first look, then have 3-4 people looking at countless replays and angles that can advise, and they are also able to go and have a chance to have another look at the event at the monitor. They should not be getting calls wrong.
