Man, you are the best! After watching your reviews, i ordered the Littlegreen pro. Now watching this hydrosteam and i think I'll return it and get the hydrosteam. Only a 50$ difference, i think it does worth it long term. Thank you again!
Just got one of these. I almost went with the cordless upholstery cleaner for the car, but I decided to go multi-purpose. I used this with an extension cord for the car, and I used it on the sofa so far. Results were great! Thanks for the review, it helped me make the purchase decision.
This has to be the BEST spot cleaner on the market yet! The steam is what makes it stand out compared to any else. Just look at it COMPLETELY get rid of the stains and sanitize the carpet. And this has to be the quietest spot cleaner I currently know of. It just sounds so much more pleasant than all the other machines you’ve reviewed. And that smaller attachment can also be used to clean and sanitize hard surfaces like shower walls and countertops using the steam only mode. Overall, I am insanely impressed with this machine and it’s definitely on the list as my next spot cleaner!! 🤩 Keep up the amazing work and God Bless!!! 💜🙏🤍
Picked one of these up and was able to get out an old cat vomit stain on light carpet using the steam and wash - very impressed. Was lucky to grab it for $150 as they had a $50 anniversary sale coupon in addition to the $30 initial discount - hopefully it goes down again on Black Friday!
When first introduced they offered $30 off. I’m sure with the holidays coming it’ll be offered again. This machine is great. Steam seems to be the magic in this one. Great video per usual! Glad it’s your full time job now. You do great work!
Amazon has them on a great sale right now regular $270cdn on sale for $200cdn can't wait to get mine, will be here on Tuesday. This stay at home dads gotta spoil himself for Easter lol. Thanks for the awesome comparison videos they are amazing
My problem is older stains. I’d love to see you throw the jelly, chocolate, and ketchup on there, leave it for a week, and then put a fresh stain next to them to do a side by side.
This isn’t exactly any of the things you listed but I just recently cleaned my car interior and removed makeup, ice cream and blood from the fabric seats. It also did incredibly well on the carpet floor mats. These stains were approximately 6+ years old. I paid full price for this machine and do not regret it so far. I am about to try and steam the baked-in oil from my stovetop next today.
Thank you for sharing the motor size! It is not on the website and I was trying to determine if it was better or worse than the other products. Sounds like this is the most powerful one, with the Spot/Pet Pros being in the middle and the Little Green being about 30% as powerful as this
I really like the design look overall. And just seeing the performance I'm sold. I hate buying mediocre product that barely suck up any dirt. Still just seem like Bissell could do more thorough test to work out all the qinks to make it the best little unit that exceed all expectation and more.
This was a great informational video. I wonder how long the tanks compare in time of use. Do you dry out the stains or do you clean it when it is still fresh? Your videos saved me a lot of headaches and heartaches!
I bought one today and the odd thing is the steam isn’t very hot at all so yes it does steam but I don’t see how cold steam is going to deep clean. My other steamer sanitizes the area but I’m returning mine as it’s a gimmick
I've watched so many of your comparisons and love them!! I am curious if you would choose this over the Little Green Pro? Is it worth the price difference? I'm in need of a good spot cleaner for my kids and pup. Country living is not doing us any favors haha!
I did get both of the hydrosteams, just used the upright yesterday, it did do a good job for cleaning, but I will say it uses way too much water, for the amount of space being cleaned
Is this better than hoover cleanslate xl? I just have water marks to clean off my sofas. I am confused if this is the best bissel cleaner and if it's better than Hoover? Thank you for your videos they are helpful!
Instructions says to use hot tap water but I would agree with you on this, but it uses a lot of water, so that would be expensive after a few carpets, but I would probably do a cleaning on the cleaning pad it sits on "if you got one" and use some vinegar, just like cleaning a coffee maker
I have a question🙋🏼♀️ Usually I use carpet cleaners to clean the berber carpet in my hallway. It's a small 4x4 ish patch of carpet and TEN stairs. My little green is decades old and has finally bit the dust lol. I'm wondering if getting the Kenmore or the Bissell steamer would be better for this job. It's a rather large job and I have a bad back and knee... And I'm also a pet owner, so that particular high traffic area needs to be done twice a year or so. In terms of which of the 2 machines is going to make the job fastest and least strenuous, which would you recommend?
Do you think the upright carpet cleaner have a better suction when used with the upholstery attachment? Or the portable carpet cleaners have a better suction?
Is it worth the upgrade cost if I have a working cleanslate? It does pretty good in my rugs but leaves upholstery quite wet which is my biggest complaint on it
Did you have an issue with the tool constantly falling off the hose? I just picked up one of these and was excited. As a child I fondly remember using the OG little green in the ‘90s (the one with the rectangular slide out dirty water tray). So I’m pretty familiar with these. Set us was pretty self explanatory. I noticed a chair I use often had some stains and decided that’ll be my first use. And….I was SLIGHTLY disappointed honestly. As I was scrubbing (not vigorously) a stain the tool fell of. I thought we’ll, let the STEAM do the work but the steam was minimal. It reminded me of those fog machines, a light fog was present. Not overwhelmingly powerful, I can put my hand under without discomfort. As was cleaning I did more scrubbing aaaand it fell off again. So I switched tools to the new multi surface tool, a tool I had a question on. In all the reviews no one said that tool also has suction, in case anyone was wondering. I went scrubbing and that tool fell off to. So I suggest using two hands. One hand firmly holding the tool in place and the other on the trigger. I also noticed the clip that holds the tool in place is on top right near the handle and easily depresses, maybe that’s the issue. Suction was VERY minimal to be honest. Clean out as stated in the video is awesome. I also have a pet pro little green, I had the older little green with the white tanks in front and green body from 2002?, I had a little green pro heat too, I have a Hoover spot clean as well. Would you say the suction is stronger on the full size hydrosteam upright cleaner? That one does not have steam on the hand tools, correct? I looked all over for that answer.
I just purchased mine and I was wondering when it's put on the ground it seems like the motor is getting choked. Shouldn't it be up off the ground like a couple inches to have some airflow ?
Does the top of the cleaning wand come off on the hydrosteam? I know this was an issue on the original little green and made it impossible to clean the wand head itself, especially if hair gets in there.
Just purchased this cleaner and, I gatta say, I'm pretty disappointed. The steam isn't hot at all, the suction power is minimal, it does pull up the water but leaves it in the head tool instead of putting it in the dirty container. It definitely doesn't dry fast at all, in fact, if you use the clean water take at all, expect to wait a full day before it's dry, and thats even after using steam only to try and dry it out and going over it for 10 mins to try and get as much water out. Debating on at this point to just return it.
Why can’t these companies engrave the marks in a color instead of clear? It’s kinda hard to see! Not just Bissel but the recycle symbol” on clear, plastic bottles, et cetera. I can’t read/find the recycle symbol. I may be throwing some things in trash when they could be recycled but as the saying goes, “when in doubt, throw it out”. Also, I agree with Just A Dad regarding the multiple styles/models that these companies out - to confuse the consumer into buying one model over another, due in part to the attachments? Each company should have universal attachments that can fit AND it would be nice if there was some place that user can store main attachments ON the machine!
I bought the unit and I'm 100% disappointed. Steam sucks, suction sucks, container volume sucks, cord length and hose length suck. Also, never have I seen a plastic nozzle on a steam machine. That would explain why the steam is cool to the touch and why its steam sucks. I would bet that this would drop in price dramatically and soon after it will be discontinued and be replaced for a good machine without all these issues. Already Bissell is offering this for $129, INCLUDING the 4 wheels, PLUS 2 bottles of 32oz+8oz cleaner PLUS the clear plastic nozzle/hose cleaner. That's $49 free stuff for a $80 machine for a total of $129. IMO, the little green hydrosteam is a COMPLETE FAIL and Bissell should be ashamed of putting their name on it. IMO, anyone paying over $150 for this junk should ask for their money back.
I just bought one last week due to being 37 weeks pregnant and needing upholstery cleaned… the steam has burned me and it’s done an Incredible job at removing dirt and stains for me ! Sorry you had a bad experience with it !
WELL I BOUGHT ONE, RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX ITS BAD. -NO SUCTION, NO STEAM...IT SUCKS! WHAT A HUNK OF GARBAGE! DONT KNOW WHAT BISSELL IS PAYING YOU GUYS TO ADVERTISE THIS P.O.S. BUT I AM SENDING MINE BACK TODAY!

I've been waiting for this. Amazon had a flash sale. Got it for $129! Thanks.
wow, prime day deals are 180
How was it? Is it good?

Great video, thanks for the demo!!
Thank you for these videos! I can now buy confidently knowing what I am getting and will definitely support by using your link!
You are so welcome!

Good idea

Thanks for the vid! It would help these much more if you used a white carpet. Again thank you.
Thanks for the tip!
This was a great informational video. I wonder how long the tanks compare in time of use. Do you dry out the stains or do you clean it when it is still fresh? Your videos saved me a lot of headaches and heartaches!
Incredible video and insight thank you.
Very good vacuum
Great detailed video,thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey just a dad , I love your videos 🎉
Hi. Thank you. The video and explanations are very helpful.
Thank you
Great video! Thanks for making it.
You bet!
Got one, trying it today!
I bought one today and the odd thing is the steam isn’t very hot at all so yes it does steam but I don’t see how cold steam is going to deep clean. My other steamer sanitizes the area but I’m returning mine as it’s a gimmick
"Cold steam" is an oxymoron. You can't create steam without temperatures beyond the boiling point of water. All steam is hot.
Hey Dad! I’m surprised there are so many negative reviews on the Walmart website.
I was going to purchase after watching this video 😔
Great review. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

no I would get this one
This was a great video!
Thanks, this was a helpful vid.
With the steamer, does this require distilled water? I’m concerned about the calcium build up as the steam is produced and cooled down when sitting.
Instructions says to use hot tap water but I would agree with you on this, but it uses a lot of water, so that would be expensive after a few carpets, but I would probably do a cleaning on the cleaning pad it sits on "if you got one" and use some vinegar, just like cleaning a coffee maker
Thank you sir for your review!
My pleasure!
Does the pet cleaning trap attachment work with this?
I have a question🙋🏼♀️

Would this machine be good to clean carpeted stairs? Also, can you use with only water and no solution? Your review was helpful.
Did you have an issue with the tool constantly falling off the hose? I just picked up one of these and was excited. I have not had the tool fall off, but it is kind of weak I could see that happening.
How does this compare to the Hoover onepwr cordless?
What’s the power voltage of the device? Thanks!
Just made picking one even harder, but cant see myself paying 250+ on one of these
Do u think this would do great for car detailing?
What do you think about the price ? ...idk little pricy ?
I just purchased mine and I was wondering when it's put on the ground it seems like the motor is getting choked. Shouldn't it be up off the ground like a couple inches to have some airflow ?
Hi does, this bissel cleans car carpet for vihicles
What’s the benefit to having steam? Especially for linens?
it did loosen the stain a bit faster
How strong is it?
Does the top of the cleaning wand come off on the hydrosteam? I know this was an issue on the original little green and made it impossible to clean the wand head itself, especially if hair gets in there.
yes
This or the shark stain striker?
Can I use it on mattress?
didnt shark come out with something exactly like this machine?
How does this compare to the new shark carpet cleaner?
This wins hands down.
For car detailing this is going to be insane, there isn’t really a hot water extractor besides the mytee
is this better than the BISSELL SpotClean Pet Pro Portable Carpet Cleaner, 2458. i am looking for one to mostly clean my stairs and my car seats.
yes
Is this safe for the couches?
Yes
Would this work on a sofa?
yes
Anyone know how this compares to the pet pro heat?
Can the steamer be used on clothes for wrinkles?
I would say no to clothes. this is much better than pro heat
Thanks! Have you tried this on tile grout yet?
thought it was the best but it smells like mildew since you cannot take the tube off.
This has to be on tyres

wow... with the steam... I almost feel like you don't even need solution... just water, extraction and steam
I bet that would work just fine.

At target, I saw in the back I did not go in the back. I just saw it through the window of the doors that lead to employees only.
I’m still conflicted
