I'll be honest - when talking about diplomats or even leaders of many nations, sometimes with various other problems, I wouldn't expect them to think about climate first. Actually, if a certain world leader would think about climate first, instead of, I don't know, well-being of his own people, then I would have bad opinion about him. And before you say ,,but it's going to be for better good for everyone, including their own citizens" - try telling that to a homeless man with wife and 4 children. Ask him, if he more cares about small fractions of procent of CO2 in the atmosphere, or having a house and job.

Reminds me of AOC when she changed her vote to pass that Israel Iron Dome 1 billion USD funding bill from "against" to "present" in tears after seeing the majority voted in favor of it. Politicians often just vote in their personal interest, or their party's interest for any specific matter. Makes me wonder what would happen if we had a type of society where every citizen could vote to pass laws/bills every week instead of letting a political party they might of might have not voted for decide for them.

UN has always been a loose confederation of the nations. Every nation has their own agendas so it's never going to be possible working collectively as a whole in general.
Unless every other nation gets conquered by a single one, I don't think it'll ever be possible to make everyone work towards a common goal. While this might bring more order and make it more efficient progress for us, it could also backfire spectacularly. Imagine the fate of entire humanity in the hands of a few corrupt people with absolute power over anyone else.

      Sure, along with the chickens.
We run away from the problems
      like a chicken.
We are when it comes it as they say in my native languages "kiekes" who have "gen verstand van kiekes op een root te zette",
however, anyone with a brain would realize that the end of the ice age, isn't the end of the world.
Earth chan would still remain, even if we sucxefuly eradicate all lifeforms on this planet, it wouldn't mean that earth chan would simply just vanish.
The thing is, we could try sending probes to Venus, study it, convert the 500 million year of climate change and use what we learned from global cooling upon our world.
Not only would it help our world,
nut give us an entire planet, around the same size as ours to colonnade,
which has no complex lifeforms to look out for, has non of the problems might encounter on Mars, such as lower gravity, almost no atmosphere, solar radiation, less solar power this by being much further from the sun, being further from Earth, less opportunity launch windows and so on.,.

@@PereiraCJ020 Based on the evolution patterns of the Cretaceous period that scientists and archeologists have observed in other species, it is HIGHLY likely that there WAS a larger unnamed version of the Velociraptor that we simply haven't found yet. Its more likely that we haven't found it yet than it is that it never existed. Its almost a certainty given the fact that it would've filled the gap of an additional necessary natural predator for the Velociraptor and other smaller species of Dinosaurs, since the larger predators almost never bothered with smaller prey. But speculation would put it at around 7-8ft tall when upright and built similarly to the Velociraptor. So, not too far off from the movie depictions aside from the lack of feathers.

That and they're not the biggest polluters, people cutting down on meat will have more of an impact than planes going green, making electric cars more affordable across the globe would have more of an impact. Think the only places planes pollute more than cars are where energy efficient or electric cars are popular and many people have them.

This speech from the movie Tomorrowland will always resonate with me: "Let's imagine... if you glimpsed the future, you were frightened by what you saw, what would you do with that information? You would go to the politicians, captains of industry? And how would you convince them? Data? Facts? Good luck! The only facts they won't challenge are the ones that keep the wheels greased and the dollars rolling in. But what if... what if there was a way of skipping the middle man and putting the critical news directly into everyone's head? The probability of wide-spread annihilation kept going up. The only way to stop it was to show it, to scare people straight. Because what reasonable human being wouldn't be galvanized by the potential destruction of everything they've ever known or loved? To save civilization, I would show its collapse. How do you think this vision was received? How do you think people responded to the prospect of imminent doom? They gobbled it up like a chocolate éclair! They didn't fear their demise, they re-packaged it. It could be enjoyed as video-games, as TV shows, books, movies, the entire world wholeheartedly embraced the apocalypse and sprinting towards it with gleeful abandon. Meanwhile your earth was crumbling all around you. You've got simultaneous epidemics of obesity and starvation. Explain that one! Bees and butterflies start to disappear, the glaciers melt, algae blooms. All around you the coal mine canaries are dropping dead and you won't take the hint! In every moment there's the possibility of a better future, but you people won't believe it. And because you won't believe it you won't do what is necessary to make it a reality. They dwell on this terrible future and you resign yourselves to it for one reason, because that future doesn't ask anything of you today. So yes, we saw the iceberg and warned the Titanic. But you all just steered for it anyway full steam ahead. Why? Because you want to sink! You gave up!"

That would be because the same "intellectual elite" that are currently pushing this climate agenda are also the ones who a generation ago, funded the social engineering to demoralize people in attempt to make them more controllable. This of course has backfired since when you demoralize people, you make them lose hope and thus they don't care. Also keep in mind alot of the elite are yet again, using the climate issue to push their own agenda to further systems of control rather than actually solving the problem. So you have an elite that see this as nothing more than another attempt at a power grab, while the masses have basically accepted they are horrible people and thus not deserving of being saved. IE blackpilled.
The elite at this point realize this and are frantically trying to keep the titanic afloat long enough to get off planet or access to some tech that would allow them to survive it. This is why you have massive amounts of money being poured into developing off world travel, and life extension technology, genetic engineering to "improve" themselves. because they realize they over played their hand and might get caught in the same trap and die with the rest of us. Keep in mind they do not care about us or this planet, they desire that 95% of the human race be exterminated, and assume they will be some human/technological hybrid that will travel off planet in a breakaway civilization. This is why they caused this, this is why they perpetuate it. It's just they thought they would be in a position that would be safe and secure from this by now to watch the final stages of the plan.
Since we are quoting movies, Loki in Avengers 1 said "Its the unspoken truth about humanity, that you crave subjugation." And honestly, talking with people about what they think about the world, it's almost always, "Humans bad, world is bad, we don't deserve to be saved" in other words, people regardless of what they say in the moment, they have been convinced to _want_ to die since they do absolutely nothing to save themselves

I always thought tht the point of tht movie was abt being aware of ur programing. We now know, human beings are in-alot of ways like computers and the information we receive are programs tht we execute on. You wouldnt give a computer a virus and expect it to perform better. By sending out those apocolyptic messages they programed ppl to work towards its fruition. I heard of a story abt a tribe in Africa tht when someone fails or does something negative tht, the whole tribe takes turns to remind tht person of how tht person helped them in some way. Its not abt forced positive but its abt which programs do we nurture and reinforce. There are two wolves.
