Here on my channel, I budget by paycheck on a biweekly basis, and today I'll be setting up our budget for my first paycheck of July. Please note that there may be certain bills and expenses you will not see here, as they are either not due in the next two weeks, or they are paid out of my husband's income.😉

I get paid weekly and I put $15 towards my water bill lol so I don’t find it a big deal, I know yours is for drinking water. People just like to aggravate. I love your budget with me videos. I don’t like it when people have opinions about my money. I’m like go manage your own and leave mine alone unless I can send a bill. I do this for motivation, entertainment, and accountability purposes only.

Our electric and water were high this month so unusually hot in Colorado 103 😢. Exactly we get paided weekly and thats why I take it out. Otherwise hubby looks and thinks oh we got plenty of cash because he dosent pay bills 🙄 and dosent care to know anything about it so frustrating 😑 so if i dont take it out he spends it . Congrats my friend I super happy for you 💗 💓 ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉. Im still on that journey but I will. Get there. I wouldnt count the house but it in a different category mine in secured debt or unsecured debt
Oh man, you guys are having the same weather as us!🥴 I do not do well in the heat!😂😂 And, yes, if I got paid weekly, I'd probably take out a little from each check, just to be sure it is set aside and allocated to something. Truth be told, if I left the money in the bank, I would probably spend it!🫣😂 I think most people here say mortgage is different than consumer debt, so yay for being debt free!!🎉💛

Listening to other budgeted Ellsworth me see other ways of allocating money. In this video you mentioned how heavy the last part of the month is in bills. I too have heard you can call to get date changed. I have not been successful with that. The first part of my month is very heavy with hefty utility bills. I am trying to budget partial payments of some of the higher bills and it sits in my account until the next pay cycle. Say electric bill is $500 so I set $250 or how much you can back then when bill comes due I only need to budget remaining $250. Totally a suggestion. I do like how you are saving extra for hotter months. Great idea as a sinking fund. Love your content.

That's a great idea Michele!🥰 I used to do that with my Visa payment ... take half from one paycheck and the other half from the next paycheck ... don't know why I didn't think to do that with the utilities!🥴😂
Please don’t let people stress regarding your budget it’s what you choose to share. It’s crazy that you have to remind adults to ask questions nicely that should be common decency.

I don’t include mortgage in debt it’s just a monthly bill to us! It’d be great to pay off early also but that might not be realistic for us so I don’t include it in my “debt”
I was thinking the same thing ... we're also a ways off from paying off the mortgage. So for now, yay for being debt free!!🎉💛
