Just some things to point out to people.
1. This is not a death metal band, their name is ironic. All of their music is supposed to be fun has some comedy to it all being based around the whole sex, drugs and rock 'n roll thing.
2. They were already fairly famous before the attacks in Paris. They have already released 4 albums since 2004 and were founded by Josh Homme of the band The Queens of the Stone age. Josh founded EODM with his high school friend Jesse Hughes in 1998.
3. Finally music is subjective people and I suggest you give more of their material a listen before you bash them. This song is from the newest album which was just released and is not actually the most easy song to take in and appreciate (imo) compared to some of their other stuff. EODM is definitely one of the most interesting, sexy and original rock bands of the 21st century.
4. Peace. Love. Death Metal.

Started listening to EODM back in 2007 and my teenage heart fell hard and fierce for Jesse. Hearing about what happened to them was like a kick in the stomach, but they'll push through. Their bravery and commitment to playing good music to great fans just proves it
Saw them a couple of weeks before it happened at Koko in Camden, London. Josh was there on drums. One of the best gigs of my life. That whole shitshow hit hard.

+Prince Perfect Josh Homme from QOTSA co-founded The Eagles of Death Metal in 1998. Qotsa is his main project though.
He's been in Eagles of Death metal for years. Him & Jesse Hughes are the only official members, but homme doesn't play live with the band he's just in the studio.
+Prince Perfect Homme left Kyuss in the 90s, started QOTSA, and then in '98 started EODM.

It's terrible what happened in Paris. The is the first I've known of EODM and I hate that it's under such circumstances. So sorry to hear of the incident. I must say, though, that this is some pretty good music! Thanks. I hope you guys can recover and continue forward in life to a brighter future.

The senseless massacre at EODMs 11/13/15 show @ the Bataclan Concert Hall in Paris, France brought me here. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who became victims of this horrible tragic act of terrorism. Glad to know that Jesse & Joshua and the rest of the Band and crew survived. Sorry to hear that their Merch Manager Nick Alexander lost his life there that night, I share my condolences may he and all the others, aside from the terrorists, Rest in Peace.

How can so many of you people know who Josh Homme is and NOT know who Eagles of Death Metal are? They pretty much started because of him. Josh plays drums most of the time for the studio albums and some times live.

Ever since i heard the song I only want you when it came out I've been a fan of this band. It's no nonsense rock band that has a bad ads singer on guitar and a legendary rocker on drums or sometimes guitar.
