You fight on through a collapsing tower and fight the GOD OF TIME, and then in a honestly tear jerking moment you exchange final words with your best friend before vanishing. The stakes in that game were higher than any other Pokémon game ever. In the Mystery Dungeon games the worst was just returning to the world you came from or die, in this game it's either "don't exist or save yourself and let time fall apart"
And also... NEVER USE PIKACHU AND TURTWIG TOGETHER AS THE MAIN CHARACTERS!!! Seriously, that was my first time ever playing through PMD2, and it was by far my hardest playthrough lol

The thing that makes this song so good... it's sad. You can feel emotional pain written into it. That's you. The player, crying in this song, knowing that if they succeed, then they're going to fade away, and their best friend, someone they've grown so close to, to love like family, will once again be all alone, scared with no one to truly trust, no one they could really feel like they could turn to for help. This last obstacle is such a struggle for them to face because of that knowledge, and that's why the song feels so... sad. Climactic. Like the end. Because that's what they're looking at. Their end, the end of their time with the partner the end of their fun together in the comforts of life as a pokemon... It's dialga's fight, but it's your finish.

The most epic about this encounter is that if you play the paralogs you learn that grovle is fighting dialga at the same moment as you. Two partners who traveled across time to finish a mission. Dialga was fighting both of you across time.

As a new one I have nopt heard for so long, this one remix is a massive thematic contrast to another musician Glitch City. Her remix is held on remorse and hope whereas this one give me a feeling like, "Visiting a Monarchy's castle filled with historical records instead of a battle." Very nice.

I was wondering if you might consider remixing the Vs. Plasma Grunt theme at some point. It's one of my favorite themes in the series and I think you could take an already great song (imo), and produce something so good that it puts the original to shame.
