  • One of the Instagram hotspot on Swiss Alps is the viewpoint of Muttenchopf where one can get a spectacular view of the man made hydroelectric reservoir lake Limmernsee. Spending a night camping at the viewpoint is an experience on itself. The lovely golden hour and amazing night sky full of starts is a treat to enjoy and that is exactly what I did.
    So come along with me on a journey to visit one of the well preserved landscape of Swiss Alps; which is rugged, but stunningly beautiful.
    Please let me know how it turned out!
    Hope you will like my work. Please feel free to like, share, comment and subscribe if you want to see more such work. They are really motivating for going on making such videos with tremendous amount of time and effort!
    Filmed using Canon R5, DJI Mavic III, GoPro Hero 9, GoPro Max and lots of passion and dedication!

    Love your videos of the Swiss Alps :)
    They are well made and give me ideas for my next visit - which is going to be far off unfortunately as I just spent 3 month in Switzerland visiting family and friends after two years of lockdowns in Melbourne. So it will be a while before my next trip. Your videos give me great pleasure and memories of growing up in the Swiss Alps 😊

      I am pretty sure that you have seen those glaciers way more alive than what I am experiencing. But it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to be able to experience the magic of Swiss Alps. Happy that I could bring you back some of your childhood memories.

    Amazing Footage)) What time of the year did you do this in? Are you allowed to camp there? or did you wait till 18.00 so that no one would tell you you can't??)) did something similar in Saxer Lücke hike on the ridge. But will definitely be doing this one this year maybe beginning June.

      Thank you… 🙏
      I was there during mid July. In general wild camping is allowed in Switzerland with some restrictions like private land, national parks. In general best practice is to leave no trace and wait till evening. But after COVID too many people went camping and in some popular areas got no camping zone restrictions with high fines. I didn’t see any such came here though. Hope too many people don’t exploit this tolerance in bad manner as Switzerland is very sensitive about the nature and if things start getting bad; it will be strictly banned. But it is all these in most of the places so far.

    this is such an amazing vlog, I am going to do the same hike and camp this weekend. I was just curious, how did you shoot vertical pano of the Milky Way over Limmerensee (15:20 -15:26)? are there multiple photos stitched vertically ? or a crop of a huge wide angle photo?

      That is a single vertical image taken with R5.

    Amazing video. Which all trails route did you use? Don’t know whether to go through tunnel or not

    • @AMPhotography

      No I didn’t go through tunnel. It felt boring to go to mountain and 90% route is through a dark tunnel. I took the other route that had beautiful mountain scenery.

    Incredible views indeed! Unfortunately for us without a car, I don’t think it’s feasible to walk 6km to the Tierfehd tatlstation🥲as too much time will be taken for a day trip. Where we will be based in Meiringin, it’s already a 4hr train journey to Linthal station. So your video will be the only way to enjoy the views on a virtual experience. Glad you made it to the top with good weather for your photography.

    Nice video! Been to Switzerland like 20 times already and going this summer again. What kind of tent do you have there and how heavy is it?

    • @AMPhotography
      @AMPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for passing by... 🙏
      The tent is a MSR Hubba NS Solo tent. It weights around 1.4 KG including an additional base (MSR Universal Footprint).
      Yeh Alpa in summer is beautiful, but it is becoming too hot unfortunately. 😔

    "How many Cameras do you want to use?" - "Yes"

    • @AMPhotography
      @AMPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for passing by… 🙏
      Not sure I understood the question properly. But I use a drone, a gopro, a 360° and a mirrorless camera. With majority of footages from the mirrorless with some particular footages from the others.

      @@AMPhotography It´s actually kind of a joke that means that you are using a lot of cameras. But thanks for the footage, I use it for a special paragliding adventure I am planning right now ;)

    Amazing video, thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures with us 😍😍😍😍😍😍 is the hike doable for a normal person? 🤗 Would love to do it 😏

    • @AMPhotography
      @AMPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for passing by… 🙏
      Yes it is very much doable. You don’t need any special equipment or training to walk there. But in certain places it is steep. So one need to have basic fitness to climb up. Otherwise there is no real handle.

  • @eimage123

    The video is great! It's not easy to carry heavy camera and camping equipment and still capture so many perspectives. If possible, can you tell us about the camera equipment and camping gear used for this hike? Also, is it risky to camp on the edge of a cliff? It would be a problem if it is windy at night. Thanks for letting us enjoy such a beautiful scenery!

    • @AMPhotography
      @AMPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you… 🙏
      The tent is strong enough to not get flown away by wind and I normally travel after checking the forecast; which is normally fairly accurate.
      Regarding equipment it is coming soon with all details. Easier to show than writing. 😊
      I am just waiting for a reasonable weather when I can go out and shoot it. For last few weeks the weather is not favorable due to constant rain and strong wind. Which is normal as we have autumn coming. Hopefully I will get few good days soon!
