Love these analysis videos, they have upped my game significantly. Specifically the second by second breakdown of fights, which is my weakest skill at the moment. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated. I do have a request, would it be possible to aim the camera at the keyboard so we can correlate the action on the screen with the action on the keyboard? I have a tendency to fat finger the keys or hit the wrong key when under stress, so curious how more skilled players react.
ADS/blocking while boarding doesn't silence your ladder-grab. After Blurbs' boarding video, me and my brother tested the ADS/blocking technique that is supposed to make your board silent. We never got it to work. Not by not swimming, not by boarding from below the water surface... We tried all sorts of different things, but the ADS/blocking technique didn't work once. We did get a few completely silent boards, but they were unrelated to the technique. Our conclusion is that you cannot consistently make your boarding silent, but only as silent as possible. Anyway, I love your videos! Keep them coming! :)
Just a little life tip, this also works in real life. If you are ever in a real world situation where 4 or more people are fighting you, quickly end the threat by eating some worms and puking on them. I carry at least 3 worms on me at all times for this exact reason.
I wanna break down our 1v1 on the FOF from my side cause I watched your side and it was fun! (From like 7 days ago. ) Is there anyway I can get that 5min clip sent to a Gmail?
The vomit tip is also really good for new players, since it can be difficult to learn to fight when everyone else is already good, but with the vomit you can give yourself the advantage in fights and then actually gain experience from them
Absolutely love your content. I much prefer PvE and alliance gameplay than PvP, but contrary to a lot of the salt I see coming from some PvE players, I decided the only way to improve my SoT experience was to get better at PvP to protect my loot. To that end, I played a bunch of Arena games to practice my ship combat, working on controlling a ship by immobilising it and preventing players from getting the sails back up and the ship moving again. My big question though, what's the best way to practice my hand to hand combat in PvP? I suck at boarding and fighting unless I come up against an equally inexperienced player as myself. I try to pay attention to the mistakes I am making and to learn from them, but my opportunities for these types of fights seem to be limited.
Hell yeah man, same here! I feel somewhat comfortsble with the melee combat myself though. I try to think strategically about my adcantages or possible actions towards getting one,as I can get very flustered when I'm meassuring another person I haven't gaged yet.
Here is a put of input: Be the main boarding party on your crew, you will only get better with time in the field. As your just refining for PvP, thanks to us no longer having Arena, use Skelly/Ghost Ships. They have the foundations for player-combat. I have found they are helpful in lowering my nerves and overall, refining my skills. In the end, the most powerful weapon you have is to realize that it's a Video-Game. And that Loot can be gotten back on another voyage. What do you prioritize more: The numbers in the moment, or the combat-skills to protect your numbers in the long-game.
If you want to test your luck, check the crows nest for explosives. Anyone who knows Blurbs will know you shouldn't put kegs up there. Otherwise you could ram ship into island, shoot chainshots into sails from cannons (pretty much point up), and firebomb (last priority).
Order of Souls Advanced quest sucks!! the ghost ship one. New proposal; Quest: go to island, Kill 2 squads of skeletons with a captain in each, find the place in the sand where you have an X, dig their to reveal the cave entrance, use one of their skulls to open a cave door. Inside is a maze, with tons on skeletons, different kinds and captains, fairly dark. At the end of the maze you have killed a bunch of skeleton captains and you find what they were guarding. They have dark relics they are protecting worth more than any skull. This would add a unique experience to the game and give you lots of skulls and a good fight with a little mind challenge in the maze. Thoughts?
Love the analysis - I'm a new player so sometimes when I watch your vids I'm either asking ''but why is he doing THAT when he could be doing THAT...?'' or I'm asking ''wtf IS he doing...?'' haha
I'd start the analysis off with the full clip at real time with a brief summary of what's going on and then break it down. Just digests better imo. Great content as always!
I think I would prefer if you analysed stuff after it happens, rather than before/as its happening. I.e. you sword lunge and then pause and explain why you chose to do so. Just a preference, love the vids!
I used to jump on the balcony from the top deck and throw a firebomb into the water to make the splash noise. It might not be the same noise but hey it works sometimes
Great vid man. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I don't always drop anchor on a Galleon straight away either. Can be huge if you knock 1 or 2 off while you're fighting. #subbed
Firebomb, look for Kegs, ram them into a rock or get your mate to fire from a distance. It gets tougher as you need to prevent the holes from being repaired, meaning tighter spaces, translating to Blunder-Friendly enviroments
The silent board has two ways to work - one being yours, the other I've found is if you grab the ladder while you are below the water and the point you grab is above it. Which is better seemingly would depend on if you prefer to move while going for the board or not.
I don't know if this is sarcastic, but for your information: Half-a-Stew Jean is a name that hides other player's names when you activate the 'replace name tags' option.
Best only thing you can do is not get hit ut even then backtracking will probably get you killed, I normally just try and attack whilst they are reloading not when the blunderbuss is loaded because even if you dodge and clearly see the pellets go past you, you will probably be 1 shot due to backtracking
this channel is an underrated gem

You‘re Right
@Mustafa Arturo hey man what bot site you use to get your youtube bots?
Yup very wise word mr. Lord!
Easy subscribe for sure
The quality of this content for the amount of subs is some bullshit totally underrated
Players: Haha you missed your lunge lol
Blurbs: Oh no I don't think so
holy fuck you invented vomit tech. this is wonderful

Your a freak of nature! Been getting into SoT practicing pvp atm! Good work mate!
Need this. Got smoked last night. Gotta keep trying!
You'll get there eventually man, keep it up and before you know it you can solo a galleon
Blurbs is back!!
I'm baffled that you ate worms to vomit on them. Crazy strat
Lol I love how when you jumped off the side they thought you fell off the ship, thinking they could revive allowing you to punish them
you’ve improved my game play tremendously.. keep the content rolling please🥺🔥

ok but how do u sink them now after u kill them all ?
u shoot them with cannonballs
Ur teammate wil shoot them if ur playing this game solo ur wasting ur time
You can try crashing them into a rock or island
@@Phaniac. playing solo makes you that much better at the game because you gotta learn to do everything yourself

that was based into space
Awesome content. Unrivaled skill. What more do people want to subscribe??
Ok, but what happens next? They have no holes in their ship. Do you have an endgame, or are you just trollin' them a bit?
I have a actually question what’s wrong with alliance servers? I’ve never heard of them before so what’s up with them?
What do you do after you have killed the entire crew?
How come that Half-a-stew Jean guy is always in your videos? How are you always vs him in your servers?
Youre a god of PvP
I used to jump on the balcony from the top deck and throw a firebomb into the water to make the splash noise. It might not be the same noise but hey it works sometimes
The correct name for worms is pirate flashbang tyvm
Blurbs can you make one more video about boarding or pvp on ship
That one dislike though
Should be 238 likes
Are those the same people from the last pvp video? Poor guys.
what shiop cosmetic is that they are using on the first gally?
To think I always used to just swing aimlessly
Thanks man this was helpful
When I'm charging up my lunge and during the lunge I can barely move my camera at all. Does anyone know why that is? I'm on controller btw
Sens is lowered during lunge
I have never heard anybody say that vomiting was a good thing

Arrr, you deserve a week in tortuga 👍
I saw Half-a-Stew Jean today.
How do I get the sword you have/ where to buy

what are these cannons at 2:50 on the galleon?

The worms are a good play
the hit at 5:00 just sums up how broken the sword really is
It would be cool to see a guide on how to counter the blunderbuss(besides just staying away from them sometimes you cant do that)
Just rely on the little dodge you do with the sword by blocking jump over their shot, just through them with the block dodge ect
@@dodgybobs8845 I do that but in close quarters with like bottom deck with the sloop you cant do much
