This are the investment the diaspora needs to put in place. The land is clean and ready for development. Build market in the country mall clinics. Like you have what it takes to do it. Dollar to cedi work very well for the diaspora. If you do it today. Years to come you will enjoy more than expected

We should be thinking about creating jobs there with our knowledge by joining with others in our respective domains rather than just moving there to find a job.
I love Ghana. You have embraced other Africans and African Americans may you benefit greatly from their investment and ideas. It breaks my heart that there are still conflicts like in Cameroon, between english speaking and french speaking, or Sudan over religion, or any xenophobia. From your history Keane Nkrumah to your current president you have remained consistent in promoting panafricanism. May Ghana prosper.
That is the meaning of the black star. Inspire the continent and beyond. Nkrumah used all of Ghana's resources to fund African Independence. His famous words - " the Independence of Ghana is meaningless until it is linked with the total liberation of Africa"
Cameroon with its dual system of English and French just like Canada should be an asset to the country. French-English bilingual Cameroonians should be sweeping international positions and educating french, English speakers all over the world. Hope for the best for them
In Cameroon, when other Africans talk about removing all borders between nations, some Cameroonian want independence because they speak a colonial language. Crazy!
I am amazed at how poorly the media that is targeted at African Americans depict African countries. All my life I've been indoctrinated with information that depicts these beautiful countries as "3rd world" or "destitute" uncivilized places. This channel has opened my eyes to see beyond the lies about African countries! Ghana in particular is way more beautiful and rich with life than I could have ever imagined. My husband and I have put together a financial plan to return one of the African countries that are welcoming diasporans. Thank you Wode Maya for offering a new and more accurate perspective of this beautiful place! :)
I brought my two work colleagues from England to Ghana . Now they are always bothering me about another trip to Ghana with them. The Africa they know is what they are fed by the BBC and were extremely surprised.
Life in most African countries is dismal. That is the fault of the leaders in those counties. The government works to make the leaders rich and neglect the needs of their people.
If you believe Dr. Wode Maya is the best DOCTORTUBER in the world just smash the like button... His channel is better than so called main stream media channels
Let us African Americans this winter instead of spending money on Christmas in the US let’s pull that money and build a community in Ghana for retreat from America a wellness center with apartments etc
Please go there and invest in industries of production of varoius things, which will bring you money, give job to African brothers, try to emprove their quality of life and also help the economy. I will tell you one thing: The African continent is the image of all black man and woman on earth. No matter your nationality, whether you are black American, black Briton, black from France or Japan, people will jugde and treat you according to the situation in Africa. You can't escape this reality. So that's why it is important for us to build and try to develop Africa. Then you will see that when people of other continents will come there for vacation and see this development, they will start to respect the black man and woman. Some people will even go on their knies in African embassies in their counties to beg for a visa for Africa for work or other reasons. Remember Africa is a paradise everybody agree.
I am a Nigerian living in Europe and I am so proud of Ghanaians and the Ghana government for providing the enabling environment for the progress of their people and the country. Africa as a whole is enormously blessed and I believe that if all African leaders are people oriented Africa will a paradise on earth and the pride of the black race. Ghana is setting an example. I will be going back to my roots soon. Africa is my home. Thank you so much WODE MAYA for the great content, as always. Remain blessed bro.
@Deshone Robinson there you go again with that mess. I told you on someone's else channel that nobody is not trying to hear that. You really should stay off these pro African you tube channels. Let us be black, proud and African.
@Deshone Robinson How is that helping us by standing in America? You can stay in America but don't push that agenda to other black Americans. You see how some of them feel. We feel unwanted. Keep your ideology to yourself and let us enjoy Africa. If you enjoy American, so be it. Leave us alone.
This is truly amazing, I work in the Recovery Room here in America as a Nurse and I discharge so many same day surgery patients, its refreshing to see that these ideologies have transfered to Ghana!, I can't wait to one day return and impact the country as well. Great Video Maya!
Michelle. This is like a dream come true for many of us in the continent. I never thought I would live long enough to see Africans and African American working together on the continent!!!! Wow, beautiful. Watching from DR Congo .
This is awesome, I thank these professionals who had left their life in the state to establish such a laudable venture in Africa particularly in Ghana to help cure Ghanaians!! I am really grateful and proud of them for their selfless behavior and passion for Africa
Hi Guys, I am an Indian , stayed in Ghana for 18 months. Ghanian doctors are so good as like doctors in India. But it is a costly affair in Ghana. Naturally, because everything is imported. That is the only difference. In general Ghanians are intelligent and nice people. Ghana as a country is a land of peace. I never expected such a lovely stay in Ghana. God bless Ghana and its people.
The Luca health Centre owned by an African American person out there. Why is Ghana now a home again. It is nice to see Afro Americans improving the health care system in Ghana in their own way.
@@truezladye1893 For me, even if it is a little more expensive, I'd rather spend it on a fellow African country. If the quality of care is equal or better, then it's a no brainier for me. Medical tourism is a real thing; Americans go to Mexico, Europeans go to Turkey, Africans tend to go to India. But maybe we can go to Rwanda, or Ghana or some other country or stay in your own country if you can find the services.
Love how Ghana is opening its doors and hearts to the whole diaspora....no more Europe no more China no more America...we can do it together. Hope more Sub-Saharan African countries do the same.
Wode Maya makes Africa shine like a diamond...u motivated me to start my channel to start my African story to share Humour, Arts, Royalty, Culture, Tradition
Your timing of this video is perfect. I am a semi retired Primary Care physician in the the US...planning my 1st trip to Ghana next March 2021...would love to see this facility and met some of the staff.
This was right on time. As I am doing my research to make my move to Ghana in 2 years, I just made a list of insurance policies that I can transfer over there. Now to see this state of the art hospital, this is getting easier and easier. Everything is falling in place. Wow, thank you
Wode Maya is truly an innovator extraordinaire...to be able to adapt in a quarantine situation...and still produce not just good informative content, but great content...GO MAYA!!!
Truly inspiring, we the pan Africans should make sure that all Africans in need of medical attention should go to Ghana 🇬🇭. Let’s make that noise across the the continent
I'm so touched by their effort. We need to see their contributions so we can give them the needed and the necessary praises and blessings. We cannot just by-pass them for not saying *God bless them*. God bless you guys. We are proud of your effort. God bless you so much. I'm really happy tonight. God bless you Maya for letting us see and appreciate their effort.
I just completed my Physician Associate Masters degree in the UK (called Physician Assistant in the US and other countries). I am Ghanaian but born and raised in the UK. I already had plans to move to Ghana, but watching videos like this from Wode Maya really sums it up for me, I gotta work towards home! Thank you Wode! Who knows, I may be in the next video at Lucca Health☺️🙏🏽
You definitely have to come down. You will not regret at all. Just make sure you have everything intact and you are good to go. We have to build Ghana and Africa. Together we can! 💪
The numerous interviews (with people working in diff. departments), and the portrayal of the daily life in the hospital, turned this vid into a documentary. Great work Wode Maya and team 👍👍
Very enthused, I am in the medical field and to see this in Africa (Ghana) give us hope for optimal care all around, especially for woman.. I just recently received a new family doctor , he had his practice in England for many years and recently came to Canada..He is Cameroonian, very brilliant at his medical work. Thank you Maya and to the all the medical specialists at Luca...well needed..
African Americans not only have roots in Ghana but we also have roots in Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, DRC, Angola, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Mali, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
yahman di bomboclots raided all these places don't forget there used to be 3 empires in Afrika and Dem fight Ashanti for long ...they took away my lovely black ancestors..the best of di best di fitest of di fitest that's why u see unimaginable feats being performed at di Olympic...... yahman all black man is African...one love
Wonderful episode, brother! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was very enlightening and encouraging. Words will not adequately express the pride that I feel of my fellow African Americans. They are making such a huge impact and difference. Keep up the great work!
Maya, u should have studied journalism, your interviews are quite professional.. Thumbs up to my Cameroonian doctors in there... I'm Cameroonian.. In Dubai ❤❤❤
I am saying this prophetically, this is the early wave back to Africa, wait, and you will see People in Exodus back to the land. Wode Maya thank you young man for the vision to carry out this Platform. let us not forget: God the Father, Son Jesus and Holy Spirit....Peace
Yes. I am a Black American, born and raised, and I have been researching several African countries for the last year now, and Ghana has steadily moved up my list and is now at the top. I have one year left before I finish my dual degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science. I am specializing in Artificial Intelligence. I have heard the call, and I now want to take my skills to Ghana.
Ghana has the Black Star as the centerpiece of it's flag, inspired by Marcus Garvey's Black Star Shipping Line. God rest the souls of Kwame Nkrumah and Marcus Garvey: KINGS.
This actually makes me feel more comfortable as I have Sickle Cell Disease & loved Ghana when I visited however thought I COULD NEVER live there as I require regular medical care that includes a monthly appointment, medications, and the occasional hospitalization. Although I would love to see an actual Emergency Room hospital in Ghana that could handle trauma emergencies like car accidents, this is huge! I would feel more comfortable living in Ghana knowing I could actually receive necessary health care!!! Now my husband might listen to my plan to move knowing I can be treated there and not have to come back to the USA every other month! Amazing Wodemaya!
Wao. I have not heard of this hospital until Maya brought it up. There are many state of the art private hospitals in Ghana. There are many government hospitals too that deliver wonderful service. It beats my mind that people still think they can’t have access to certain services when they go to Africa.
Thanks to Luca health for bringing such State of the art facility here in Ghana. This means that all the diasporans will be assured of quality health care
adjoa anima yes they do For local private insurance they accept GLICO & Acacia medical insurance For international insurance: Aetna Bupa MetLife UnitedHealth Care Henner international Geoblue AXA Euro Center Allianz Care
As an African American, I would feel safer in a modern "world class" facility in Ghana like this way more than I would in the "world class" facilities here in the States. Here in America, Black women are dying at extremely high rates during child birth because of various reasons all connected to racism. We're also dying at high rates from COVID-19 due to a number of factors, racism included. Living an Black existence in America is to constantly be punished for being descendant of enslaved Africans; it's exhausting! My hope is that all (or at least the majority) of the countries in Africa become a safe-haven for all Africans and Black people in the diaspora so that, if we so choose to, we can move and live away from the evil threat of White Supremacy and anti-blackness
@E You must be a white supremacist troll! You will not deflect away from the constructive conversation we will have underneath this video. You can't fool me with that reverse psychology BS and it must kill you to know that
Well said bro. I am an African from DR Congo. I keep saying the same thing here. Africa has all the resources it takes to have a better life here than in Western countries. I love what's going on in Ghana. If you ever check the map of Africa, you will find out that Dr Congo is ten times bigger than Ghana. But the population of Dr Congo is only 3 times bigger than that of Ghana. Which means you can fit the whole population of Dr Congo on a land 3 times as big as Ghana, and still have a land 7 times as Ghana that remains empty.... That's just one example to show you how big the African continent is. What we want is for all African countries to be able to grant automatic citizenship to any bro/sister from the African diaspora who want to settle in the continent.... We'll get there. I am starting to believe... Let's make it happen. All the way from Dr Congo 👍👍👍👍👍
@@theben10futureyamin70 Tell Paul Kagame to stop stealing your resources. I guess Congo is too big and it's easy for Paul Kagame to sneak in and steal your resources?
Nice to hear from Mr. Roodney, sounds very American. This hospital looks really upto standard. State of the art indeed. Oh wow, this is nice to hear. It makes the hospital less habitual to infections and disease. Wow sold their home and packed up to Ghana. That’s just wow. True, most Africans go out to seek medical care. The after care is even very expensive. Great one. Weldone to Lucca team.
Who else thinks it’s been forever since Wode posted. Ghana man, stop taking too long. Happy New Month. No be only Gynecologist 🤣 Wode. Thanks for opening Ghana up to the world.
The access Wode Maya has gained is a testament to his hard work and Ghana businesses desiring the exposure to show off their great work and the infrastructure that’s coming along. This is channel is proving to be transformational. Keep up the good work! MAHA, baby!
i love ghana, the pride of west africa. I hope that in the next few years it will become the elite of the economy, scientific research , military and sport of the entire continent and will outclass South Africa
Guy is Naija a jock to You, You have to surpass Naija first before thinking of becoming the pride of west Africa.... Don't forget Nigeria make up 70% of West Africa's Economy.... Ghana and South Africa are our errand boys.
Maya your a true son of Ghana and Africa as a whole, thanks for the projections and the good image your the continent, may your kind be multiplied on the continent to help change the narrative for more successful stories like this
This is amazing! This clinic is better than some canadian ones I have seen! I swear! Africa is changing! I have to see that myself I'll visit Ghana as soon as possible!
It is important to note that this clinic does not even make the list of the top 10 hospitals in Ghana so there are even better options. Here is an article on the top ten health facilities in Ghana. @t You can google each of the facilities listed to find out more.
You know investment is an opportunity to make money right? Our brethren should be thankful that there is a base where we can all come and make money. Also, this group is powered by a number of people (including likely some white funding parties).
@thulani xxx Ghana has hospitals but lacks specialized medical centers. Ghana and Africa needs more of these centers. Your politicians, chiefs, and rich pastors travel to EU and USA for care at such centers.
Please share to family and friends in GH and beyond so that more people will know about this place for quality health care services...Woda has done well to bring this hospital to our attention.
To be Frank with my Conscience, The PACE at which GHANA is developing....If it continues like this to the NEXT 10yrs, Ghana will be second to the most developed Country in Africa. As for Mr. Ghana Baby, Your Country's Authority should show you some Recognition at least. You deserve it!
Maya thanks a lot for the videos. I watched almost 6 videos you made with the returnees. I learned a lot about Ghana and Africa. You changed my mind about how I knew Africa. Hugs from Afghanistan.
WODE MAYA i feel that the spirit of the ancestors & the full Blessings of God is on your Life, my brother this is what you were meant to do...it is amazing how everywhere you set your feet, CEO's & other high profile people are always making time to meet with you, and are delighted to have you share with them their story wow! Doors are opening daily for you...i feel the Kings in Africa will soon call on you for an exclusive interview... believe that.👍🦾
Was Wode Maya still wearing his famous flip flop (slippers) at the hospital? Lol Since Wode Maya’s interview with former Ghana President John Kufuor, Wode Maya is now on a roll with more high profile interviews. Remember, last year some businesses in Ghana turned Wode Maya down because he was not popular. Now, they will soon call Wode Maya back to grant them an interview: to promote their business on his fast growing channel around the world. Wode Maya hard work, his patience, and his tenacity to succeed are now coming to fruition with or without his famous slippers. “Africa to the world” will continue to inspire more people in the diaspora to see Africa’s vast opportunities for investment and quality living. Keep up the good work in promoting Africa.

Little correction. The name is *Kwame (Kwame Nkrumah)

Glad you have broken out of the indoctrination. Africa is a wonderful place. Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬🌹

Yeah Health care In Ghana is expensive because even to build a house costs because stuff are imported from all over the world.

Why is Ghana now a home again.
It is nice to see Afro Americans improving the health care system in Ghana in their own way.

Yes. Rather than flying to India 🇮🇳 for care, if I need to go anywhere I'd rather go to another African country, like Ghana 🤩
Do you think it will be cheaper then India?
@@truezladye1893 For me, even if it is a little more expensive, I'd rather spend it on a fellow African country. If the quality of care is equal or better, then it's a no brainier for me. Medical tourism is a real thing; Americans go to Mexico, Europeans go to Turkey, Africans tend to go to India. But maybe we can go to Rwanda, or Ghana or some other country or stay in your own country if you can find the services.
